We have placed our hotel just by the famous Macarena Church, in a small palace where, according to the legend, the poet king of Seville, Almutamid, hide from his father his love for the laundress Rumaykiyya.

Our guests cannot really imagine what will find inside when looking at the sober but elegant façade of the hotel. An explosion of colours, the tinkling of water when falling from our fountain and exuberant scents take us back to the Seville of Al-Andalus, to the magnificent kingdom of AlMutamid, who made Isbiliyya (Seville) the most important city of that time.

Its architectural structure, based on handmade materials used in Seville 9 centuries ago, consists on a central andalousian patio surrounded by different chambers: reception, breakfast lounge, cafeteria, an spiral staircase and the 15 rooms, each one different and unique, decorated in different colours and furniture, and giving special relevance to the bathrooms, whose walls are stuccoed and their baths made with marble.

Rooms have king size beds with canopy, carved headboards, doors with horseshoe arches, silk and cotton clothes, furniture made on scenting cedar, handmade basins made on polished brass and Victorian taps brought from India. Our rooms have their own history because instead of having numbers, they have the names of significant characters from Al-Andalus, who were born, lived or developed their best works in Seville.

One can enjoy in the terrace inspired in the lush Arabic gardens, with a succulent breakfast or at nightfall, with unforgettable evenings illuminated by the faint light of oil-lamps and enveloped in the aroma of orange trees, lavender, and rosemary. One can also have a mint tea, inside a genuine Arabic Tent full of explosive colours, marvellous carpets, Moroccan crafts and silverwork.

The decoration, the water of our fountain, the scents and the flavour of our Moorish “tapas” introduce our guests in a climate of relax and pleasure that counteracts the stress caused by the city.

In addition, a surprise: the hosts can buy everything they can see in the hotel. Even the beds, taps and floors can be purchased so our hosts can take home a beautiful tiny part of Al-Andalus.
