Really good location and pretty cute but the “double bed” is in fact a twin bed. Pretty disappointing because the hotel could be much better without this issue.

Charming hotel, good bed, room small but very clean. Staff efficient and friendly. However, a bit further from Times Sq and mid-town attractions than the ad indicates.

We stayed just for one night as booked our flights not realising we were arriving on Valentines day and everywhere was super expensive! Hotel 31 was great value for money. A nice toasty warm room when the temperate outside was well below freezing! We would have happily stayed another night had we not had somewhere else booked for the rest of our stay. Great location near all the big sights of the city!

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich Super angenehmen. Zwar ist das Zimmer wirklich klein, aber unglaublich sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Lage ist einmalig. Einfach weiter zu empfehlen.

Schade, das ein so gepflegtes Hotel kein Frühstück (warum nicht kontinental)anbietet und Zimmer mit Bad/WC wäre der Clou.

We stayed at Hotel 31 during Sandy. The power was shut off, no hot water. When paying full price we were informed that we would get some rebate, but sofar we have seen neither money nor answer to our e-mail! This behaviour does not give a good impression and we don´t recommmend the hotel!

Ottimo hotel, posizione centrale e pulitissimo

If I go back to New York I will stay again in Hotel 31. We got our money,s worth and it is in the heart of the city.

It you are traveling on a budget in New York City this is the place to go.

I stayed at this nice little hotel for three nights and I really enjoyed it.

It is located in a safe area, walking distance to all New Yorker attractions such as the Empire State Building or the Time Square. The room was perfectly clean every day and absolutely sufficient. We had to use the shared bathrooms which were also very clean and vacant all time. If you want to safe money but don't want to miss some comfort at the same time, this hotel is really perfect. You have all you need, you don't have to take the subway to get around and it is very clean!

Clean bathrooms and nice beds about 5 blocks from Penn Station. Overall, a good value!

Hotel tres bien situe, mais la chambre juste a cote de la salle de bain est vraiment tres bruyante, tout comme la climatisation.

Les toilettes se trouve dans la meme piece que la douche. Vraiment pas pratique lorqu'il s'agit de salle de bain commune.

L'Hotel 31 si trova in una posizione molto comoda a Manhattan, vicino a due fermate della metropolitana verde (28 street e 30 st.) La mia sistemazione è stata in camera privata, con letto matrimoniale e bagno in comune. L'Hotel si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa! La camera era sempre molto pulita e ordinata, con asciugamani nuovi ogni giorno. Anche i bagni in comune erano puliti: erano due per piano e tenuti entrambi bene. Consiglio questo hotel a chi, come me, non vuole spendere troppo per l'alloggio, ma comunque vuole dormire in una posizione centrale!

Très bon hôtel pour un deux étoiles. Prix raisonnable. Très bien situé. Seulement à dix minutes à pied de la 5th avenue et métro également à deux minutes. A recommander

El hotel esta bien situado cerca del metro en medio de manhattan.Me ha gustado que realmente parece que se esfuerzan tenerlo limpio!hace falta que cambian los colchones, estan que ya no dan por mas...no vale lo que cobran xo esto parece ser normal en N Y

Un hotel que cumple su función si tu verdadero interes es disfrutar de la ciudad de Nueva York, limpio, seguro y bien comunicado con todos los puntos interesantes de la ciudad que no son pocos, la relacion calidad precio nos pareció un tanto descompensada, pero supongo que es Nueva York y que era septiembre, en cualquier caso, lo recomendaría a todo aquel que quiera un sitio tranquilo y limpio.

Great location right in the center of Manhattan. Clean room although quite small. Staff were not very friendly or communicative.

un solo ascensore scomodissimo. camera per due persone con un solo letto da una piazza e mezzo. aria condizionata rumorosa come un trattore. acqua del bagno a tratti.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Good hotel. Great location. Desmond's bar around the corner on park avenue does 3 dollar pints between 3-7.

Top Hotel, in bester Lage.

Vorsicht nur bei der Buchung über Hostelclub.com! Als wir im Hotel eintrafen, teilte man uns mit, dass unser gebuchtes Zimmer nicht mehr verfügbar sei. Wir mussten für eine Nacht ein Zimmer ohne Bad nehmen, danach war dann, wie von uns ja ursprünglich gebucht, ein Zimmer mit Bad frei.

Der Fehler lag nach Auskunft der Hotelleitung eindeutig bei Hostelsclub.com, da hier anscheinend Hotelzimmer angeboten werden, die schon lange nicht mehr verfügbar sind.

kleines, sehr saubers Hotel mitten in Manhattan mit sehr viel Charme, aufmerksamen, freundlichem Personal für den kleinen Geldbeutel als hervorragender Ausganspunkt für Stadterkundung

Très bon petit hôtel "Old style". Seul point négatif: isolation phonique entre les chambres inexistante. Heureusement, la clientèle reste familiale, donc calme.

Well located and very clean.The hotel has old-fashion look and furniture but is very clean and well mantained.Shared bathrooms very clean and there are several per floor, always available.Air condition unit was not working, they send a manteinance guy at 3am to fix it in seconds.I fully recommend this hotel.

Perfect location in the heart of Manhattan. Toilets were always clean and available. Not many people on our floor. Staff was very friendly. The hallway smelled bad, but the room was very clean, and the sink was cleaned daily. Perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you want to explore the city!
