All Italy is beautiful, hard to find a corner that does not have something to tell. Italy is quite different, from north to south is notable for landscapes, monuments and different cities, but still unique. Throughout the boot there are fabulous places, in the real sense of the word.

There are cities that seem to come from a fairy tales book, almost unreal, but so charming that you will want to go back a second and a third time.

BOROUGH IN MOZZANO, TUSCANY

In the province of Lucca lies this borough, a medieval town that retains a particular bridge. This bridge, known as the Devil's Bridge, although the real name is Ponte della Maddalena, is characterized by its three asymmetric arches.

According to legend, the manufacturer, failing to finish the major arc, asked for help to the Devil who helped him, asking back that the first soul that had crossed the bridge would be his.

The bridge was finished in one night and the manufacturer, slyly, let a dog crossed the bridge for the first time.The devil, deceived, had to be content.

RIOMAGIORE, LIGURIA

In this town, the southernmost of the five lands, alternate genoese towers with buildings painted by the typical bright colors. Riomaggiore is developed in steps, in a maze of narrow, winding streets, that look just outputs from one of those fairy tales books for children.

ALBEROBELLO, PUGLIA

Unique in its gender, Alberobello, is a white-colored masterpiece. All the houses in this city are the famous Trulli, circular constructions, born from an ingenious idea by the local landowners, who imposed the farmers to only build dry homes, without mortar, to avoid paying taxes to the Kingdom of Napoli, who had imposed a surcharge for every new urban center.

SANT'AGATA DE' GOTI, CAMPANIA

We are now in the province of Benevento, where on a mountain lies the wonderful village of Sant'Agata de' Goti. Its construction is amazing, so much so that it was used as a movie set several times .. Are you still wondering why we think is one of italian places came out of a storybook?

CIVITA' DI BAGNOREGIO, LAZIO

In the province of Viterbo there is a country which is dying, Civita di Bagnoregio. Just like in fairy tales, where something disappears, even this country is crumbling with the rock beneath it.

It is linked to the real country from a bridge, but you better hurry if you want to see it!

ERICE, SICILY

Near Trapani, in Sicily, lies the borough of Erice, a town that is part of Italy's most beautiful circuit villages, and it is not hard to see why.

Its name comes from Erix, a mythological character, Aphrodite's son, and seems to have been founded by the Trojans, managed to escape. This, at least, is the theory of Thucydides. Even Virgil cites Erice in the Aeneid.

CISON OF VALMARINO, VENETO

In the province of Treviso, there is a small borough that bears the name of Cison di Valmarino, dominated by CastelBrando.

From the Cison's square you can start to follow the Way of Water, which develops along the creek Rujo.

CASTELL'ARQUATO, EMILIA ROMAGNA


30 km from Piacenza lies this small village, Castell'Arquato, positioned strategically . From its position, it dominates the landscape below. There are buildings such as the Duke's Palace, dating back to the end of 1200, this, in particular, is famous because it was the Sforza's residence.
