We already have written an article about what to do for free in Hamburg, we have listed what to see in Frankfurt and we have showed you  the curiosities of Cologne. Now we decided to change the city and travel to the german capital to show you a list of underground bars where have fun during your nights in Berlin.

Get ready to enjoy!

Le Croco Bleu

Le Croco Bleu is a bar located at the machine room of an old Bötzow brewery. What a better place to open a bar than this! Its decoration, its cocktails, its history… it will be hard to you to decide what do you like more in this local.

In case you were wondering, there’s a reason for the name. As the legend says, two crocodiles from the zoo of Berlin were hiding here during the II World War.

Stagger Lee

Although this is the easiest bar to find on our list, it is one of the best hidden of the city. When you cross its doors, will feel that you travelled back in time and have appeared in a typical Saloon from the 20’s!

A detailed decoration and a discreet atmosphere make this bar a place that you will come back.

Madame Claude

After the II World War, this underground bar was a brothel that served drinks to the American soldiers. Open your eyes for not miss anything! Tables and standing lamps hanging from the ceiling as if the room was reverse and a wardrobe that will lead you to a secret bar are few of its charms.

Have fun singing during its open microphone nights or playing ping-pong… it depends on when you visit it, because the activities change, depending on the day of the week.

Prinzipal Kreuzberg

Delicious cocktails, non-end parties… the Principal Kreuzberg describes itself as the rabbit hole that will take you to a Wonderland for adults. An esthetic that will transport you to the mythical speak-easy bars and to the crazy nights of Cabaret.
