Civis Hotel Phoenix is situated in Tiszaujvaros, a fairly new town at the junction of the rivers Tisza and Sajo, on a beautiful lowland, halfway between the famous wine districts of Eger and Tokaj.

The three-star hotel welcomes guests in 76 rooms: the Comfort category offers simple but convenient equipment: bath, colour TV with satellite programmes and direct dial telephone, while Classic rooms include a mini-bar as well; in addition, the Executive category offers air-conditioning, hairdryer, and coffee machine. Non smoking rooms are available, and upon request extra beds as well. Additional services include a sauna, massages, a solarium, a beauty salon, a tourist office with program organization, and a business centre with Internet access.

A few hundred meters from the hotel, the Thermal Bath offers four thermal pools, one outdoor and three indoor, as well as a therapy section with doctors' examinations, balneotherapy (bath, mud packing, parafango), hydrotherapy (jacuzzi), underwater gymnastics, underwater jet massage, mechanotherapy (gymnastics, medical massage), light therapy, inhalation and electrotherapy; the water has high iodine and bromine content.
