Casa Habana 1932

Perfect base to arrive in Cuba and explore Havannah. Luis is a great host who is there to help and advise. We felt very comfortable with him and in Casa 1932.

Si vous cherchez un hébergement dans La Havane, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut. Un peu cher pour le quartier de central havana mais vous êtes à 2 pas du Malecon et la maison de Luis est un véritable havre de paix. La décoration est très soignée, tout est très propre, la nourriture (pt dej et dîner) est excellente et Luis est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes : transfert, conseils, accueil .. tout était parfait. Je recommande à 200%.

Very nice casa, the host speaks english. The best coffee I drank in Cuba was there. Now I know they call it coffee Cuba.

Excellente casa particular, trato muy bueno del gerente y del personal. Limpieza impecable, con servicio de lavanderia gratuito incluido, un desayuno muy copioso con los mejores pancakes que he comido, enhorubuena a Inés la cocinera!

Absolutely Perfect! If you are staying in Havana Casa 1932 is a MUST! Close to all attractions, rooms are very clean and comfortable with great shower not mentioning patio which is like oasis. Whole casa is so beautifully furnished with all antiques. Breakfast is very tasty and very filling. Owner and staff provide great hospitality and welcome, they will provide to you anything you ask for. WE would like to say big thank you for pleasant stay and great atmosphere.

L’ambiente è molto bello e curato nei minimi dettagli. Personale molto cortese, disponibile e sorridente. Anche la colazione è presentata con tavola elegante e ben apparecchiata. Oltre ad essere a pochi metri dal Malecón, lì vicino c è una zona Wi-Fi che in certi casi non guasta...

Nos pasamos muy bien en la Casa 1932, muy bien ubicado a una cuadra del mar y prácticamente en el Centro. Estuvimos como en casa con nuestros familiares, gracias a Luis y a Jorge. Seguramente vamos a regresar ahi en nuestro proximo viaje a Cuba. Gracias por todo.

Casa Habana was a great place to stay , lovely staff , amazing decor from a bygone era . Luis , the host / owner has a great eye for design and an interesting family history which you can see in the wonderful collection of photos and memorabilia . If you want to be in the area where you will see real life in Habana then here is a perfect place to stay

This is our second stay in 7 months at Casa 1932 and we love it there! First of all, after you enter the ornate iron gates it is absolutely beautiful inside. At first it reminded me of Paris. All of the antiques are gorgeous! And everything is always spotless. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast delicious. Luis goes out of his way to help, and is a wonderful host. A highlight of this trip for us was sitting down and having cigars with him and chatting about everything from politics to kitties!

Casa Habana es un viaje en el tiempo. Si quieres introducirte en la Cuba colonial este es tu sitio. Celebramos el cumpleaños de mi mujer y fue un viaje que recordaremos siempre sobre todo por Luis y todos los que nos atendieron en Casa 1932. El desayuno fue una pasada y decidimos cenar una noche allí, la cena fue espectacular, nos sentimos como reyes cenando en el salon estilo colonial. Muchas gracias a Luis y todo su equipo porque el nivel de servicio desde el primer momento fue mas allá de nuestras expectativas incluso se tomaron la molestia de ayudarnos con un problema personal, el cual, nos arreglaron sin problema. Muchas gracias, merece la pena ir a Cuba por personas como Luis, volveremos seguro.

One of the best casa particular we stayed in Cuba - everything there bring you back to 30s. The staff, especially the owner Luis Miguel, is lovely. The laundry service is a very appreciated extra, the breakfast is amazing.

We stayed for four nights and had a good time: The rooms were clean and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing and the employees were very lovely. Location is good, only a 10 minutes walk from Prado, Capitolio and the Old Town. So we really enjoyed our stay UNTIL IT CAME TO THE CHECKOUT: I had booked two double rooms via e-mail booking. The owner confirmed that I had booked room 1 and room 3 and mentioned the price of 25 CUC per night below the second room. He did not mention any price for the first room, so as I had booked two standard double rooms, and one price for a room per night was mentioned below the room listing, I expected both rooms to be the same price. However, at check-out, one of the rooms was suddenly 50 CUC per night - so double price. The owner argued that this one was a luxury room (which we had never booked, which we had never been told, and which was ridiculous because the room was just slightly bigger than the other one and equal regarding facilities). When we questioned the price in a friendly manner and tried to clarify the misunderstanding, we were kicked out of the house. We were very sad about this ending of our stay, as we had really enjoyed everything to that point and would have recommended the Casa.

Casa Habana 1932 was magical. We arrived at the property and were mesmerised by the place so full of character and photogenic. I’m so happy that I managed to get a booking here for some of our time in Havana. Luis the owner was charming and helpful as were his other staff. Gracias xx

Our stay in this property was perfect. The best casa we did during our travel in cuba. Very professionnal, the owner and the staff were amazing. Situation is really good, closed to malecon, heart of the city. The room was spacious and confortable. I recommend this place!

If you like antiques and friendly staff, Casa 1932 is the place to stay in Havana. It is close to the Malecon and within easy walking distance to all areas of the city. Breakfasts are great and we had a dinner prepared which was probably our best meal in the 2 weeks we were in Cuba.
