Casa Habana 1932

Perfect base to arrive in Cuba and explore Havannah. Luis is a great host who is there to help and advise. We felt very comfortable with him and in Casa 1932.

Absolutely Perfect! If you are staying in Havana Casa 1932 is a MUST! Close to all attractions, rooms are very clean and comfortable with great shower not mentioning patio which is like oasis. Whole casa is so beautifully furnished with all antiques. Breakfast is very tasty and very filling. Owner and staff provide great hospitality and welcome, they will provide to you anything you ask for. WE would like to say big thank you for pleasant stay and great atmosphere.

Casa Habana was a great place to stay , lovely staff , amazing decor from a bygone era . Luis , the host / owner has a great eye for design and an interesting family history which you can see in the wonderful collection of photos and memorabilia . If you want to be in the area where you will see real life in Habana then here is a perfect place to stay

This is our second stay in 7 months at Casa 1932 and we love it there! First of all, after you enter the ornate iron gates it is absolutely beautiful inside. At first it reminded me of Paris. All of the antiques are gorgeous! And everything is always spotless. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast delicious. Luis goes out of his way to help, and is a wonderful host. A highlight of this trip for us was sitting down and having cigars with him and chatting about everything from politics to kitties!

We enjoyed very much our stay in Casa Habana 1932. This place is a jewel. Luis and his staff are very friendly and professional. Best breakfast we had in Cuba.

One of the best casa particular we stayed in Cuba - everything there bring you back to 30s. The staff, especially the owner Luis Miguel, is lovely. The laundry service is a very appreciated extra, the breakfast is amazing.

We stayed for four nights and had a good time: The rooms were clean and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing and the employees were very lovely. Location is good, only a 10 minutes walk from Prado, Capitolio and the Old Town. So we really enjoyed our stay UNTIL IT CAME TO THE CHECKOUT: I had booked two double rooms via e-mail booking. The owner confirmed that I had booked room 1 and room 3 and mentioned the price of 25 CUC per night below the second room. He did not mention any price for the first room, so as I had booked two standard double rooms, and one price for a room per night was mentioned below the room listing, I expected both rooms to be the same price. However, at check-out, one of the rooms was suddenly 50 CUC per night - so double price. The owner argued that this one was a luxury room (which we had never booked, which we had never been told, and which was ridiculous because the room was just slightly bigger than the other one and equal regarding facilities). When we questioned the price in a friendly manner and tried to clarify the misunderstanding, we were kicked out of the house. We were very sad about this ending of our stay, as we had really enjoyed everything to that point and would have recommended the Casa.

Casa Habana 1932 was magical. We arrived at the property and were mesmerised by the place so full of character and photogenic. I’m so happy that I managed to get a booking here for some of our time in Havana. Luis the owner was charming and helpful as were his other staff. Gracias xx

Our stay in this property was perfect. The best casa we did during our travel in cuba. Very professionnal, the owner and the staff were amazing. Situation is really good, closed to malecon, heart of the city. The room was spacious and confortable. I recommend this place!

If you like antiques and friendly staff, Casa 1932 is the place to stay in Havana. It is close to the Malecon and within easy walking distance to all areas of the city. Breakfasts are great and we had a dinner prepared which was probably our best meal in the 2 weeks we were in Cuba.

Wonderful service from all the staff and well-equipped rooms - made our stay in Cuba very easy and enjoyable!

It is a beautiful facility and it is clean. Breakfasts are a good value but evening meals are a bit expensive.

Compared to other places and casa of particulares of Cuba, this hostel offers great value for money: it has the basics such as cleanliness, enough towels, soap, AC, fan, spacious bathrooms; as well as the not so basic kettle & tea in the room. The staff can help you arrange collectivos. As for the breakfast, it's copious and individually prepared according to you taste, with even pancakes & peanut butter on the table!

This place is fantastic. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. The location is a bit far from Havana Vieja but is no doubt within walking distance (approx 20mins).

Fabulous casa! Great location in Centro near the Malecon, street festivals & music. Super friendly & helpful host - set up a trip to Vinales for us at the lat minute. Interesting decor + large & clean rooms with nice touches. Highly recommended.

Really nice place to stay if you select Havana and casa particular. Really nice decoration you feel you are in the past. Luis Miguel is very helpful with anything you might need to ask places to visit itineraries et. All the staff is really nice taking care of you 24/7. Casa Habana is a great experience if you stay in some days in La Habana. Luis, the owner is cery attencious and ttok care of all we need: transfers, information about the city, tour to Varadero. Room are clean and old fashioned decorated. Good air conditioner, very good breakfast and a very good cost - benefits balance. I strongly recommend it.

Outside on the streets you wonder what happend to the place but inside the Casa it's a jewel of Havana. The beauty of the vintage colletion and the warm Cuban hart of Luis welcomes you to Casa1932. Breakfast is great with the fruit, eggs and pancakes. When you need help finding your way, just ask and they will guide you.

Very nice B&B. Helpful staff and comfortable room. The street was being torn up when we arrived, but we managed to navigate around well enough. Lots to see and an amazing history to Havana. Great architecture that varied between beautiful and "when did this get bombed".

An absolutely great Casa on the edge of old Havana and 1 min walk to the Malecon. Best breakfasts in Cuba and very attentive staff. Beautiful atmosphere and very quiet and relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay.

Extremely good location: one block from Malecon, 20 mins walk from Havana Vieja and also 20 mins walk from Vedado.

Very well maintained: nice colonial style rooms, hot water, safe box, fridge.

Very helpful staff.
