Accommodation
We offer accomodation in 3 shared dormitory rooms with bunk beds:

- a female only 8-bed room;
- a male only 8-bed room;
- a mixed 4-bed room.

All 3 dorms have a shared bathroom inside and small lockers each with their own key.
Guests can rent towels in the hostel and purchase the laundry service.

Services and activities
In the common area guests can find a shared kitchen equipped with induction stove, microwave oven, coffee machine, electric kettle and TV.

Surroundings
The hostel is only 200 metres far from the entrance to the old rock town of the Sassi and from the city center. Parking your car along the street in front of the hostel is free. There's a supermarket right next to the hostel for grocery shopping.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

- Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Please note that we do not offer late check-in options, so it is essential to inform us of your estimated arrival time at least one day in advance.
If you arrive after 8:30 PM, you will not be able to access our hostel and stay overnight.

- We encourage guests to pay in advance to streamline the check-in process. However, if you haven't paid in advance, please note that payment must be completed upon check-in. We accept both cash and credit cards for payment. Please have your passport, identity card, or driving license ready for registration purposes. 

- Our reception operates exclusively during check-in hours. However, if you arrive before 3:00 PM, our cleaning staff can assist you with luggage storage. Luggage drop-off is available between 9 AM and 12 PM, but not between 12 PM and 3 PM. We kindly request that you contact us in advance, either by text or call, to coordinate your luggage drop-off and ensure it does not disrupt our cleaning operations. 

Please note that while we strive to accommodate your needs, storing your luggage is not an obligatory service we provide.

- It is important to be aware that there will be no staff members present between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, as well as from 8:30 PM until 9:00 AM. Therefore, if you arrive before 3:00 PM or after 8:30 PM, access to the hostel will not be possible. For security reasons, guests cannot grant entry to others, and unauthorized access prior to registration may result in a monetary penalty.

- Our beds are equipped with lights and power outlets for your convenience. We provide complimentary sheets, pillows, and blankets. However, please note that we do not supply shampoo and shower gel. Towels can be rented separately for a small fee of 1.50€ each. Please remember to return the towels at the reception desk upon checkout.

- Each room is equipped with lockers to store your valuables. The locker measurements are approximately 75 x 25 x 45 cm (29.53 x 9.84 x 17.72 inches). While we take precautions to ensure security, we cannot be held responsible for any theft or loss of personal belongings. Rest assured that each locker has its own key, so there is no need to bring your own lock.

- Our laundry service, including the use of a dryer and laundry detergent, is available during reception hours for an additional fee of 8€ per cycle.

- We have a daily cleaning protocol in place to ensure the cleanliness and comfort of our guests. To facilitate this process, we kindly request that you vacate your room by 10:00 AM. In exceptional cases where it is strictly necessary, you may wait in the common area during this time. However, we kindly ask that you avoid disrupting the cleaning operations. We recommend spending your time outdoors until our cleaning is completed. Your understanding and cooperation in minimizing any disruptions are greatly appreciated.

- The kitchen and its appliances are at your disposal. We kindly ask that you leave the space tidy, neat, and clean after each use. Please dispose of any leftovers and perishable food before check-out. A supermarket is conveniently located next to the hostel, and additional options are within a short walking distance for your grocery needs. To help with organization, we encourage guests to use masking tape and a marker to write their name and checkout date on their food items stored in the kitchen. This way, it will be easier to identify and manage personal belongings.

Please note that the kitchen cannot be used from the start of our cleaning operations until 1 pm. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but it allows us to ensure a thorough cleaning of the hostel during that time. 

- Check-out time is by 10:00 AM. Upon check-out, please return your keys. If you have time to explore the town before departing, we offer a storage room where you can safely store your luggage. Please consult our staff to arrange a suitable retrieval time (usually during check-in hours).

-  It is mandatory to return the keys by the designated check-out time of 10:00 AM without exception. It is crucial to adhere to this deadline to ensure a smooth transition for the next guests. Failure to return the keys by 10:00 AM will result in a monetary penalty. We kindly request your cooperation in promptly returning the keys to avoid any inconvenience or additional charges.

- Visitors and unregistered individuals are strictly prohibited from entering the facility, except during reception hours and in the presence of our staff. Access is limited to the common areas only.

- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the hostel, including the rooms and the common area.

- Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. We kindly request that you keep noise levels to a minimum, even during daylight hours, to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

- In the event that you or your group cause any damage to the property, you will be held liable. For minor damages, a minimum charge of €100 may be applicable. If the damage requires further compensation, our staff will notify you promptly.

- Please note that you are only permitted to access the room you have booked. Under no circumstances are you allowed to enter other rooms.

- Guests are strictly prohibited from using any bed other than the one assigned to them at check-in, including their own sleeping bags. It is not permitted to sleep in or use items, such as pillows or blankets, that belong to other beds. This policy ensures that each guest maintains their designated space and respects the comfort and privacy of others.

- The Rock Hostel reserves the right to immediately expel individuals who engage in harassment, offensive, or discriminatory behavior towards other guests or staff members. If necessary, the entire group associated with those causing the disturbance may also be expelled, regardless of whether only a few individuals were involved. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and the full amount of the stay must be paid.
