Ivanhoe Hostel

Great hostel! Was a little noisy somenights but otherwise excellent!

There were problems with our booking which was not very satisfying. luckily we got some beds but not in the same room as we had booked. Not the best start of the stay late at night in Rome. And the last morning my towel was gone and used to sweap the floor - another disappointing episode to our stay...

Staff is a lot of fun. Free punch or pasta every night.

Its a party hostel, nice staff, clean and conveniently located, near to the subway and to Termini station.

I have such a good time here.

All'arrivo cercano in tutti i modi di trattare su un prezzo già concordato in precedenza cercando di spillare altri soldi. Igiene praticamente inesistente.

cuando llegue a las doce del mediodia un hombre que trabajaba ahi me dijo q estaba cerrado, q no sabian a que hora abrian,a si que me fui a otro hotel.

Es un excelente hostal, donde te queda a 5 minutos muchos lugares turísticos. Tiene un excelente staff, todos son muy amables, hablan múltiples lenguas, son de fácil trato. Todos los días hay desayuno por 2€, está muy bien por ese precio. En las noches ofrecen free drinks que saben deliciosos. Pero también hay varios refrigeradores para guardar la comida que de quiera comprar, además de un espacio para preparar la comida ( estufa, microondas, etc). Siempre hay alguien en la recepción 24 horas y está persona está al pendiente de lo que necesites. Todos los días limpian los cuartos, baños y áreas comunes. Es un hostal 100% recomendable, que además de tener un excelente precio, cuenta con muchas cosas.

El mejor hostal de Roma, limpio, excelente ubicación, muy buen servicio, todo el personal es increíble, encuentras a grandes personas, está a buen precio, el desayuno no incluye pero está muy bueno y económico.

Very nice location just around the corner from Colosseum in between the main train station and the old city centre.

The staff is supernice although their choices of bad music with great volume can be a bit annoying when you arrive home early night after a long days walk.

O hostel poderia ter Pub Crawl, mas tem a noite do espaguete grátis noite sim noite não para todos os hospedes.

El hostel esta super bien ubicado. En lo personal fue un exito porque no iba a pasar mucho tiempo metido ahi.

Quienes atienden son muy buena onda, hay wifi y el desayuno es barato y contundente.

Recomiendo este hostel para gente que desee pasarla bien y que no se haga problemas con el ruido.

Pretty good youth hostel with nice staff. Good location. The rooms are thronged with people from all over the world.

Nice hostel between trainstation and city center (ca. 10-15 min walking distance to each). Nice neighborhood with shops, restaurants and cafes beside the really touristic area. Nice stuff. No point of criticism.

Ivanhoe hostel was the first hostel of my trip and will surely remain one of the most memorable! All the staff learn your name in few hours, they make you feel at ease and welcome at any point in time. There was always a "party" or at least a good ambiance every evening. I made good friends with whom I continued my trip with! Recommended 100%!

Esta muy bien ubicado, el personal es muy amable, las habitaciones estan bien. en general esta muy bien por el precio.

Posso commentare solo lo staff del posto e il modo in cui si sono comportati,poichè,senza alcun avviso telefonico,una volta arrivati all'ostello ci hanno comunicato che per problemi causati da ospiti precedenti (probabilmente è molto probabilmente solo una scusa del fatto che non avevano riservato la camera da noi prenotata) ci hanno mandato in un'altro "ostello",se così può essere definito,che si è rilevato un posto squallido,dal quale siamo dovuti andar via trovandoci così il pomeriggio del 31 dicembre a Roma senza saper dove poter soggiornare la notte.

Condition of the hostel is really bad, everything was breaking down. In my bathroom there were no glass on the window so it was freezing in the morning. If you visit Rome in summer time that might be not a problem but in winter it is. There was also lock down 11 am till 4 pm when you didn't have access to your room because of cleaning and so on. Also if you want to get to sleep before 12, that's not your place because of the loud music. Positive sides were the friendly staff and good location near metro, Colosseum and railwaystation.

The staff we're really quite lovely and very accomodating.

The location is good, the bed is decent and the bathrooms are clean. As for staff, they never bothered to say hello to me, but I'm sure that changes if you're a pretty girl..

Great staff, really friendly and fantastic location. Loads of free drinks and free food and great place to meet people. Just had my 21st birthday here and it was incredible, free prosecco on the house! Grazie mille. Mi scuzi!

Great Hostel, pretty close to the Termini Station. Has a Metro station one minute away by foot. Also, near the central part of the city so near the Colosseum and other tourist attractions. Air-conditioning is good.

This hostel is just a disaster! I booked 8 beds in a 10 beds room more then a month before our trip with one more additional bed later. However when we arrived, they told us they don't have that room and split us into one 6 beds room and 3 more beds in another room. They said as there is toilet in the 6 beds room so no price reduce for their mistake and inconvenient. Actually we dont want to accept that but we have no choice. However later we discover the so called toilet was all broken! Broken door for shower place, no water to flush and the poor little sink stucked too! And water started to come out and flood our room the next morning. The room is poorly lit with just one dim light. The air conditioner was broken down also and the room has no window and so stuffy! The place is small and not clean as well! The so called function, like free dinner party was just so so. People have no place to gather but all squeezed in the corridor and blocking the doors of the bedrooms. Later we figure out that the room was originally occupied by others but they had complained and changed to our 10 beds room. So we are forced to take this room! The whole thing is unacceptable and we think it's going to shut down if things go on like this.

If you're gonna stay there take your own pillowcases, they don't offer this.

This hostel is super great! Small, but clean, all staff which u need, good kitchen! Person staff is excellent! Guys are doing the best job! They helped what ever we needed, also made parties! It was really nice! Nice people, nice place, nice mood! Thank you them much! I wish to come back one day! :-)

ostello strutturato molto bene, a 2 passi dal colosseo e roma centro, staff fantastico e molto cordiale.

If you can avoid it, don´t stay there!

It has no Hostel atmosphere, the staff is not very motivated to help you and they don´t even have covers for the blankets!

Quedamos muy satisfechos, sobre todo con el trato recibido por parte de los encargados del hostel. Eran muy agradables lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuese inolvidable. Lo recomendamos. Un saludo para todos ellos y en especial para Salvatore.

The room was verry small, you must go and live on your backage. Every day music until 12 o`clock. You can not stay in your room or hostel from 11 to 4 o´clock. The bed was okay, also the WC.

There are very good staffs.

６日間泊まりました。はじめ到着したときは、ﾊﾟｰﾃｨｰが行われている最中で薄暗くてにぎやかでまるでクラブみたいに音楽が流れ、スタッフも酔っ払っていて「チェックインしたい」といってもよっていてあまりまともにとりあってくれなかった。その後はちゃんと取り合ってくれたが。朝食代込みと書いてあったが込みではない。毎朝２ユーロでパンやクッキー、ケーキオレンジジュース、シリアル、牛乳、コーヒー紅茶が飲み放題だ。キッチンは無料で使えるので、自分でなにか持ってきたりして食べれば問題ない。部屋は３回移動させられた。１回目は8人部屋、２回目は１２部屋、最後はまた８人部屋だった。部屋は暗いし、電気つけたら同じ部屋の外国人に「くそねむてーから電気けせや」って９時でも言われたり。掛け布団は中の羽毛が外側にでてきまくって服は羽毛だらけ。トイレバスは４つあるがお湯がちゃんとでるからよかった。キッチンもまあまあきれい。立地条件はメトロのｶﾌﾞｰﾙ駅からすぐってことがよかった。誰か友達と一緒に行くなら大丈夫だし、慣れれば問題ないだろうが、あまりおすすめはできない。

The staff is really nice and you get to meet a lot of nice people! for it's price it is really great

位置不好找 離車站有點遠 而且是下坡處 沒有電梯 有網路 訊號還不錯 廚房有點小 但是設備齊全 有冰箱 印度人開的 房間放很多床 十一點後不能留 要到下午四點才能回來 廚房只能用到晚上七點

Bon ambient per al jovent. Molt ben situat i ben comunicat, encara que la higiene i qualitat del local és regular. Pel preu que té és recomanable

Everything is fantastic, the staff is so nice and they prepare things to do every night for all the guests like dinners and free drinks. 2€ for a really good breakfast so it's good to have it there. You have to know that in any hotel in town (Rome) there is a tourist tax that is 2€ par night. I really suggest Ivanhoe even though the toilet is not that good and water wasn't always hot, it's well located, really fun for young people and nice owners.

Great location - just 15 minutes from Termini. Parties every evening, friendly staff. We really recomend breakfast `cause it`s cheap and nutritious. Usually we were so drunk goin` sleepin` that noise wasn`t a problem.

Удобное размещение, неплохой персонал. Хотят деньги за любые услуги (завтрак, шкафчик, полотенце все по 2 евро). Не понравилось правило "с 11 до 16 вы должны быть вне хостела". Искусали клопы, что уничтожило весь позитив.
