La ubicación del hotel es simplemente PERFECTA, justo frente a la mezquita azul, a una cuadra de la sisternas y a escasos metros de santa sofia. Falta tal ves un poco más de animo del personal sin embargo siempre fueron amables y muy atentos.

AWESOME LOCATION, on the main street right in between Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. All the sites of the old city are walkable and other tours will pick you up from the hotel.

La situación del hotel es excelente,inmejorable.Las vistas mientras se desayuna en la terraza sublimes.Solo deberian mejorar un poco la limpieza y los detalles(algunas sábanas estaban rotas,no las cambian ni las estiran,etc) pero en general,bastante bien mi estancia en Estambul.Sitio bastante recomendable.

We found this small hotel on a Google search the night before arriving from a Bahá'í Conference at Yeditepe University, and struck lucky indeed!
The hotel is, as promised, just 1 minute from Istanbul's 'Blue Mosque'.
The tram from the ferry passes the door and we were right in the centre of tourist attractions. Ideal for a short break, the rooms have t.v., hair-dryers, and fresh linen daily. The breakfast room on the top floor has panoramic views of St. Sophia, Sultan Ahmet and several smaller mosques, as well as with another lounge on the first floor. Breakfast was simple and plentiful, with good restaurants on the street outside. A mini-bus was organised to take us effortlessly to the airport, with the hotel apparently taking commission for this.

Our holiday in Istanbul was really wonderful! Our experience became unforgettable through this hotel! The staff was so helpful and kind. It was cheap and the price contained a delicious breakfast!!!
BUT we recommend that you shouldn't choose shared bathroom, because this bathroom is NOT bathroom, just a toilet!
However the stanard room which includes own bathroom was really suitable and comfortable with a marvellous view.

Det var bullrigt ibland även på natten. En i personalen höll på och spikade i frukostrummet när vi sov. Väcktes av detta. Det slamrades mycket i frukostrummet och drogs i stolar som ekade, det var en tråkig del i boendet. Det var för lyhört. Det var också dammigt under sängen. Annars var personalen trevlig, speciellt dom som var längst ner i foaljen.

Trovo molto opportuna la vostra iniziativa per potere aiutare I viaggiatori e turisti.
L’hotel Star Holiday ha la magnifica posizione in Sultanahmet, accanto alla Moschea blu, come punto di forza.
La colazione a buffet è ok, ottimo cibo la vista è magnifica.
La struttura è datata, nelle stanze non funziona né la tv né il frigo ma l’aria condizionata si.
I letti la mattina successiva venivano fatti molto frettolosamente, la pulizia della camera lascia molto a desiderare.
Mi è però capitata le disavventura di avere accettato la loro proposta di passaggio dall’aeroporto a Istanbul a 50 euro (per due persone), prenotato dall’Italia, visto che mon eravamo mai stati ad Istanbul. Il costo del trasporto prevedeva il trasporto privato (taxi per intenderci) invece ci siamo trovati un pulmino con altre 10 persone in un pullmino guidato molto approssimativamente che soso state come noi recapitate nei vari alberghi di Instanbul per cui il passaggio aeroporto hotel da circa un ora è durato quasi due ore…(scoprendo poi che il prezzo pagato dagli altri passeggeri era mediamente la metà del nostro…
E alle nostre rimostranze in hotel è stato risposto che questo non era mai capitato prima e che la persona sarebbe stata richiamata.
Alla partenza,questa volta verso Ataturk Airport ci sono stati richiesti 25 euro con l’assicurazione che il taxi sarebbe stato privato ed invece, solito pullmino con 25 persone a bordo che avevano pagato 15 lire turche.
Al ritorno ad Istanbul da Edremit abbiamo fatto da noi e abbiamo pagato le stesse cifre in euro con taxi privato
Oltre a questo non ci è piaciuta l’insistenza di essere pagati cash in euro in quanto c’erano sempre problemi al servizio pagamento con carta di credito.

ハイシーズンだったせいか、オーバーブッキングされました。バスの関係で、夜にチェックインできず、朝にチャックインし、シャワーを浴び、休みたいと前日電話をしていたのですが、着くと部屋がないと言われました。しかも、代金はきっちり請求されました。クレームを言い、結局二時間ほど部屋が空くのを待つことになりました。親切なスタッフが多いですが、着いてみたら部屋がないというはかなりショックでした。

If you are not too sensitive of comfort, this is an ideally located budget hotel in the vicinity of many of the most interesting tourist sites.Lack of lift. Prefers payment in Euro, pse arrange change as the reception only return any balance in local currency.

Very good location, good view from terrace, reasonable price and nice staff. Bathrooms are a bit small but I think it is normal for hostels. We suggest you this hotel. - Gokcen (from Turkey) and Alok (from India)
P.S.: Be careful if some guys come and talk to you friendly and then if they invite you for a drink or else. They may be cheat. Unfortunately they cheated my friend Alok before I arrive to Istanbul.

An excellent hostel hostel: nice and clean rooms, private bathrooms and a great location. It has the feeling of a hotel. So if you are looking for a place to stay, I can warmly recommend this one!
The only `downside' is, that the hostel doesn't invite much interaction with other guests. This is mostly because of the hotel like style.
