First of all, it is very strange that there is absolutely no sign on the door bell, which assures you that you have the correct adress. You basically have to ring the door bell (two random names) on spec and hope that somebody answers.

I guess the cleanliness is always depending on the guests but during the week that I was there, there must have stayed some pigs there as well. Common area and bathrooms could have used some cleaning.

It was also a bit puzzling to figure out, who is staff and who is guest. That makes even the simplest question ("Can I get a towel?") pretty embarrasing. But if you are lucky and find the right guy, staff is friendly!

Although it is approx. 45 Minutes by subway to the hot spots of Manhattan, the location of the hostel is OK.
