Located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau region, the Mountain Hostel Gimmelwald is simply love at first sight. Buzzing with travellers from around the world, it is quite common to come here for a day and stay for weeks. With perfect access to the many hiking trails from our front door, we also make a great base for outdoor activities such as paragliding, rafting, via ferrata, and more. The hostel seems to attract a certain type of traveller – social, fun, respectful and adventurous with a love for the natural beauty that the Alps provide. A photographers dream, Gimmelwald is a place you really have to see to believe. The easygoing and fun environment at the hostel leads to memories and friends that last a lifetime. In the evenings you will find travellers playing cards and games, guitar and piano, or sharing tales from that days hike. It’s amazing to see familiar faces that come back every year sitting side by side with new travellers in awe of the view, having a beer on the deck as the sun sets on the mountains. The Mountain Hostel will be the highlight of your trip and an unforgettable experience.

A cosy place where backpackers find their home, and feel the special atmosphere. A self-catering kitchen, a common room, restaurant, pool table, free internet, free Wi-Fi and many nice people will be happy to see you! Simple and comfortable dorm rooms with a breath taking view.

Términos y condiciones

Usted tiene la posibilidad de reservar un dormitorio para hombres o de las mujeres. Si viaja con la familia, también puede alojarse en una habitación mixta. En dormitorios mixtos camas dobles están disponibles (2 camas están uno al lado del otro, cerca de la persona que viaja con, hecho especialmente para parejas y amantes)!
If se viaja con niños, no podemos a su disposición una sala de estar privada. No hay descuento para los niños, pero que llamar con antelación y vamos a tratar de encontrar una solución para familias!

Note que Gimmelwald sólo se puede llegar en teleférico. Consultar el horario de modo que no se pierda la última conexión (el horario se puede encontrar aquí: www.sbb.ch)!
