Sleep Cheap at Francesca's BnB

Es un lugar bastante bueno. La señora es muy amable y muy limpia. Lo único que podría señalarse como "malo" es que está en un barrio un poco escondido y queda un poquito lejos del centro (que la ciudad no es que sea muy grande), pero en general yo lo calificaría como bueno.

Difícil de encontrar.

Cerca de la estación, lugar tranquilo, cómodo y limpio.

Si lo que quieres es gastarte poco dinero y estar en el centro este es tu alojamiento, es una casa pequeña, está limpio y el desayuno está bien básico, nosotros pasamos una noche, no es para estar mucho más pero es lo más barato que encontramos en Venecia.

Quite a good location. Facilities and breakfst quite basic. Internet ok. Other hostellers were quite a friendly bunch - mostly Mexicans and Spanish which gave me a welcome chance to brush up on my language skills. The funniest part was swapping my Irish (Gaelic) for Basque. This drew a number of puzzled looks from the latinos.

Buena ubicacion..pero 1 solo baño compartido para todas las habitaciones..

Pulizia assente e la proprietaria è veramente scortese: il giorno che dovevo lasciare la stanza ho chiesto se per cortesia potevo lasciare la valigia fino alla sera che avevo il treno e mi è stato negato. Morale della favola sono dovuta andare in giro tutto il giorno per Venezia per canali e ponti con il trolley pesantissimo. Pessima!

Small and dirty room, terrible showers, staff does not speak english or italian, breakfast is rubbish. Only if you are terribly short on money. The only good thing is the location, in Cannareggio district.

Bien situé, ce logement modeste m'a rendu un bon service : permis de découvrir Venise pendant plusieurs jours, au petit prix de nuitée. C'est assez propre (prévoyez des tongs pour la douche quand meme) hôte gentille et serviable

La posizione è ottima e l'ostello molto pulito. Il riscaldamento però viene acceso con parsimonia (io stavo congelando e ho dovuto fare un po' di casino per farlo accendere) e soprattutto c'è un solo bagno per tutti gli ospiti (al massimo 8).

eravamo in due e una di noi è stata punta dalle pulci del letto in maniera così importante da essersi dovuta recare il giorno dopo al pronto soccorso.

The room was clean, stuff was very nice, even though they speak only basic english. For the price you have everything you need - basic breakfast, fridge, microwave and bed linen. Plus supermarket is only few streets away. Also you can leave there your lugugge after check-out. Overall - for this price I can only recommend.

People are gentle and pacient. The showerbox is too small and it's very hot inside the room.

This hostel doesn't have the proper owner anymore and was a big dissapointment, actually, it seems to just not be existing at all.

Somebody took over the place this year and continued renting the rooms.

We booked for four persons but had to share a doubble bed with three because there was not enough place; another couple arived that day and the owner decided to put us in the same room which could only provide place for 5. One of us had to sleep on a matras on the ground and had a very bad night. Breakfast was poor, the fridge smelled badly and we had to share a bathroom with two showers for about 16 people. If you had to go to the toilet, you had to wait if there were people using the showers, because you had to pass through the showerroom to get into the toilet, really unpleasant if you have an urgent call. Luckily, the owner only let us pay for three people instead of four. But even, when it comes to 21 euro a night, a quality this bad, isn't what you're looking for in such a great city such as Venice.

Sleep cheap at francesca's B&B does NOT exist anymore! When we arrived we were let it by a Chinese lady who was quite rude. She said Francesca's B&B was finished. She had taken over a very small apartment and rented the rooms, PHOTO's ARE INNACCURATE! We had to sleep with 6 in a room for 4 which we had booked for just us 4. Myself and 2 friends had to sleep in small twinbed and the other on a thin matrass on the floor. Only 1 toilet and 2 showers for a total of about 16 people! bathroom could not even be locked. No lockers to stash belongings whatsoever. Breakfast was the worst I ever had, soggy bagged bread, broken toaster, stale cereals and instant coffee. In the end we only payed for 3 people, which was still too much for this horrendous experience.

Even when she had already accepted the advance on the payment via internet she never called or emailed us to explain the situation. This woman is a fraud! This "hostel' should be closed forever. DON'T BOOK!

It was a great stay. I enjoy it:) the shower and bed was good and warm. The ofer you breakfest (milk and cereals, toast, butter and gem, Also coffee and Tea:) They are nice and friendly:)) Insae them twice(when i got There and when i lived) if you want a plce just to sleep and Take a shower with morning breakfest, ITS good:) i enjoy the time There:) no fancy, no VIP :) just normal people, like u and me :)

Тепла кімната, добрі господарі, зручне розташування, поруч є супермаркет та бар. Дуже сподобались книжки та балки на стелі, здавалося, що живемо у найстарішому будинку у всій Венеції.

If you are lookin for a cheap hostel, it's ok for only one night. It's not very clean and you dt feel comfortable there. But it's ok

A localizacao e boa, perto uns 15 minutos da estacao santa lucia, e limpo e o ponto bom e que o wifi pega no quarto. apesar da agua do chuveuro ser quente, custa a ficar e nao tem aquecimento, as instala;oes sao antigas... o cafe da manha e basico, nao tem nada demais. os recepcionistas sao estranhos e nao muito educados. nao ficaria de novo e nao recomendo.muito caroooooo pra um atendimento pouco bom.

The owners are not really the kindest in the world, but i think it is just because they dont speak good english. The place its ok for the price and it is clean.

A localização do albergue é muito boa (não longe da Estação de Trem), mas o proprietário é inflexível e o café da manhã fraquíssimo.

Ottimo per chi si adatta (bagno piccolo, io che ero solo ero senza riscaldamento), per quello che costa vale la pena, soprattutto in bassa stagione così si ha la casa intera per sé, posizione ottima.

I really appreciated the hostel, and the kindness of the owners. The kitchen was clean, and also the 2 bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable! It's located in a good position, only 20 minutes far from San Marco Square.

Sconsiglio , camere senza chiave e praticamente la casa e l'appartamento dei proprietari del ostello e loro ci vivono e cucinano per loro cibi strani .

il quartiere è molto carino ed è un po' fuori dal turismo di massa, molto piacevole.

Its decent considering how hard it was to find something cheap in Venice. Its close to the train station but its a good walk to get to the main sights in Venice.

Ótima localização, quartos limpos, roupas de cama limpas, atendimento bom, o único senão é o tamanho do banheiro que é muito pequeno e tivemos dificuldades na hora do banho.

In realtà è una casa mal ridotta. Nessuno parla italiano. Solo un uomo cinese che sa 2 parole di inglese. Non affittano nemmeno asciugamani quindi nessuna possibilita di fare doccia. Nessuna ricevuta data e pagamento obbligatoriamente cash. Di italiano c e solo il nome. Sconsigliato

Neat room in a 300 year old building, very comfortable bed, elementary breakfast and located in the heart of Venice. Would probably be crowded if fully occupied. Make sure you use the mosquito repellent provided in the flat in the night.

Prezzo ingannevole perche sono aggiunte tasse in piu non specificate,l ostello non ha insegna,le porte delle camere non si chiudono a chiave,x raggiungere il bagno si passa dalla cucina,il proprietario(cinese)parla e capisce l italiano pochissimo e x inconmprensioni a livello economico ci stava cacciando dall ostello alle h 23

Cheap and simple location in old house downtown. Good for a sleep and shower while you spend your time seeing the fantastic city of Venice. 8 min walk from railway station Venezia Santa Lucia, good description delivered to find. Nice staff will hand you the keys for house and room. Cook your cup of coffee in the morning, bread, marmelade, cornflakes are ready, WIFI worked well.

Ostello al secondo piano con 11 letti, abbastanza pulito, letti comodi, lenzuola non comprese, 2 bagni minuscoli (solo uno con doccia), c'è cucina, no armadietti con lucchetto. Proprietario cinese disponibile ma parla malissimo italiano e inglese. Ostello ok per 1/2 notti

Location is awesome in Cannareggio. Francesca is a middle aged Asian guy, but that in itself is not problematic. The hygienic facilities are not all that clean, the beds were, no bugs or anything as described in other reviews. The breakfast is minimalistic.

Even though there is an oven in the kitchen we were not allowed to use it. Basically: you get what you pay for.

I really loved everything about this hostel. We were welcomed very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were good. No complains at all. An ideal location to visit Venice and (in our case) the Biennale !

Just place to sleep. Bathrooms - too few, too small, bedrooms clean. Hostel close to the trains station and cheap.

Bed bugs bite me during my stay. Had to leave on the last night. Stay here if you like getting bitten :)

It is a very clean hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Positioning is great: not so far from main streets and no noises that distract from relaxing. However, this hostel should have something like locked cupboards to keep valuable belongings. Was quite disappointed about the breakfast. But all in all, the hostel is great!
