Amazing staff, very clean rooms

Esta muy bien ubicado. La atencion es muy buena del personal desde el portero hasta la chica de la limpieza. La habitacion esta climatizada y no necesita arroparse de lo bien caliente que es la.habitacion El lobby esta muy bien y el.servicio de internet en todo el.edificio esta muy bien. Lo recomiendo.

Great place, helpful friendly staff (big shout out for Maggie!) and super close to the park and subway!

It's a nice hostel and a favorable location. I personally thought it was a bit too pricey for a room that looked very much like a jail cell, but in NYC I guess one is to expect such prices. The lobby area was very nice with modern and comforting interior. Staff members were great.

Dans l'ensemble notre séjour s'est très bien passé. Chambre propre mais chauffage bruyant. Par contre pr la 1ère nuit la chambre réservée n'était plus dispo donc on nous a mis dans une chambre dortoir à 2 lits et qd nous y sommes retournés 15 jours plus tard on s'est retrouvé avec une chambre avec salle de bain donc 30 dollars de plus. Et enfin l'acompte payé sur le site n'a pas été pris en compte en arrivant à l'hôtel. Donc bien faire attention...

Интернета в комнате не было. Отопление в комнате включали только периодически. В один из дней в 7 утра разбудил звук тарахтящей батареи, который длился минут 15. Вместо одеяла был какой-то кусок материи.

It's a great hostel really nearby to the anything you want to visit. It will server better if you're looking for a place to crash after site seeing though, because the atmosphere within the hostel is not that festive. People at the front desk are rude and it seems that they don´t like their work HOWEVER, try talking to Maggie at the cafeteria and she will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know, will even give you a map full of FREE recommendations, she really compensates the bad attitude of boys and girls at the front desk.

The heaters were off and we froze all night. They didn't give me any reimbursement.

宿に着いてから請求された料金が、当サイト表示よりTaxを差し引いても1泊あたり＄15程高かったです。サイト料金は常時の宿料金より安くなっており、その辺りが混乱の原因かと。始め取り合ってもらえませんでしたが、粘って粘ってホステルクラブ料金にしてもらいました。

その後のスタッフ対応は良かったです。心配していた2人部屋はちゃんと女性と相部屋でした。水周りの清潔さはすばらしかったです。

It is quite good for the price. There is a subway near of the hostel, and it is calm.

No hay wifi en las habitaciones. Por las noches es muy ruidoso, debe ser que tienen problemas con la calefacción.

Prima om te verblijven, alleen de locatie ligt niet heel centraal. Maar met de metro kom je overal snel.

Dit hostel brengt geen gezellige sfeer. Je leert niet snel andere mensen kennen. Verder is er geen gelegenheid om zelf te koken. De kamers zijn ruim en schoon. Er worden elke dag nieuwe lakens en handdoeken verzorgd. Tevens is de metro erg dichtbij, op 5 minuten loopafstand. Dus een prima verblijf, maar weinig tot geen sfeer!

La limpieza es muy buena, los baños están limpios todo el día. El personal es atento y accesible. El ambiente es bastante aburrido.

We got an nice upgrade room, because our booked room was full. Very good service.

Un sitio bueno en relación calidad-precio para pasar unos días en N. York. Lo mejor, la ubicación, lo peor, demasiado ruido en los lugares comunes, apenas se puede hablar por culpa de las teles.

Computers with internet are si expensive.

There is a supermarket on Amsterdam av and the 96th street open, we just have to but a water and we can use internet.

El único fallo es que la cocina no tiene cubiertos, platos y demás utensilios. Es como ofrecerte un coche pero sin motor. Por lo demás, muy bien.

tres mauvaise opinion de l auberge, nous avons reserve 5 mois a l avance notre auberge, arrive le jour meme a l auberge, notre reservation a ete annulee sans reelle explication (aucune information par mail ou par telephone sur l annulation de la reservation), aucune aide reelle pour nous replacer a un autre endroit, surtout que c est leur faute! je ne le conseille a personne cette auberge!en gros debrouillez vous sans nous!

In general, a very recommendable hostel. Good value for money, mostly modern interior (some bathrooms have been renovated, others haven't but are still ok). I would probably book it again if the price is right.

One thing really bugged me though: I had booked a 2-bed dorm room in advance, but when I arrived, the lady at the reception said "so you booked a 4-bed dorm room."

Me: no, 2-bed.

Her: We don't have any.

Me: Then why do you advertise them?

Her: We have some renovations going on.

Me: I don't find it nice to treat customers like this. I especially chose this place as it offers 2-bed rooms.

Her: Sorry, only 4-bed rooms now.

Me: No way.

Her: OK, I'll give you a discount for the 4-bed.

Me: I don't want a discount, but the room I booked.

Her: OK, I'll put you in a 2-bed room and someone else in the 4-bed room.

Well, this is unacceptable, luring people into your place with something you can't accomodate, then try to fool your guest and in the end it is possible after some discussion... As it worked in the end and my room was fine, I might give them another chance.

this hostel is ok. it is close to the subay, clean, the bunk beds are not very comfortable, the room is big enough and has a wash-bowl, the bathroom was clean and big. there are no quiet room (or something comparable). in the lobby are 2 tv where they show new dvds - it is nice. in the guest kitchen are no dishes at all, but 2 big fridges. supermarkets and everything is all around.

Good value accomodation in NYC. We stayed in a private room, which makes it very much like a regular hotel. Rooms are very simple and small, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep and be on tour during the day this is a good option. Value is good, considering the location, and much better than in many other NYC hostels. Consider that you pay much more than indicated on the website (for a 2-bed private room, we paid approx. $36 per person/night in May). Bathrooms are sufficient and clean, towels and linens are changed every day. There is an additional sink in the private rooms. Most rooms face Broadway and are quite noisy, especially at night (which is the time you are usually there). The kitchen in the lounge is minimalistic, just fridges, a sink and microwave, but ok for having breakfast. Staff was nice. Not much activity, so maybe not the place to meet other travellers. Neighborhood is nice, lots of shops and good restaurants, definitely safe, and close to subway. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The smart hotel/hostel entrance from the outside belied the actual accommodation inside. The reception and lounge area was pleasing and comfortable but far too small for the number of guests. The 6 bed (3 double bunks) room was ridiculously small (below any legal planning limit for 6 people). The bathrooms were clean and modern on our floor(6th). The hotel is situated close to the Subway, a 10 minute journey to Times Square. Our biggest shock was that the actual accommodation cost($682), turned out to be 26% more than the booking confirmation showed($540). Beware of the hidden $3.50 pppn over and above the 'taxes' of 15.25%!

Me parecio un buen hostal, pero tuvimos un problema ya que la persona que nos hizo el check in nos cobro 4 noches y en el recibo puso nada mas 3, por lo que el ultimo dia llegamos con la sorpresa de que como segun ellos no habiamos hecho el check out el dia que decia su recibo habian sacado nuestras cosas y las habian puesto en una bodega, la verdad fue muy molesto porque llegamos ya muy noche y cansadas y lo que queriamos era dormir y tuvimos que esperar como 2 horas a que nos resolvieran la situacion y nos dieran una nueva habitacion, ademas de que nos maltrataron muchas cosas porque todas nuestras cosas las echaron en una megabolsa todas amontonadas.

Afortunadamente se resolvio la situacion pero deberian de tener mas cuidado en este aspecto, ya que por eso se hace la reservacion anticipadamente y se paga al llegar todo el tiempo de estancia.

chambres king size très bien, dortoirs un peu nu (pas de table, ni de glace) literie pas terrible.

Personnel qui ne cherche pas trop à aider (sauf un gardien et la première personne qui nous a reçue). J'avais précisé sur la réservation que nous étions une famille avec 3 enfants mineurs, mon commentaire n'a pas été lu, donc nous avons eu d'autres chambres avec supplément pour une nuit et avons dû acheter le dernier lit du dortoir, ce qui n'était pas prévu (suppléments 173 $ quand même)

très bien situé. à 2 min à pied du métro età10 min de time square par metro (ligne 1). chambre et sdb propre, drap et serviette changé ts ls jours. coin cuisine et télé super avec pop corn, belle déco et bagagerie possible, portier.personnel accueillant.très bon séjour...à refaire

Nice place if you want to visit New York, but be prepared for long queues to the bathroom the morning. Good for a short stay.

部屋が男女混合だったのがびっくりしましたが、特別問題ありませんでした。

２段ベットがすごく高く、幅が狭いのでちょっと怖かったです。背が低いと登るの大変かも（？）

nice nwe and clean hostel, nearby the subway, approx 15 min. to Times Square. rooms are small but very clean. you get a fresh towel every day. mattresses are not good. when you turn around in your bed your room mates will hear it. Tip: if you don´t sleep well, take earplugs with you.
