Casa Daniel y Fina

This was a perfect stay for our travels. Fina (who we had most contact with) was very helpful and went completely out of her way to make sure that we would feel comfortable and she was ready to answer any question we had (with directions, Cuban culture clarifications etc.). The location was good, both the old town and the new town were walking distance while the Malecon was around the corner. The breakfast option was great.

When we return to Habana, we will definitely stay here again!

On our first nights in Cuba we really enjoyed our stay in this house with Liz as a host. Our room was quite spacious and very clean. On our second stay in Habana, we got the smallest room (nothing wrong with it) but the bathroom is quite small. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the real hosts as we felt only as a business than a guest. The house is 20 min walking from Parque Central with the most basic breakfast among all our stays on our 2-week vacation in Cuba. Food is quite expensive for us tourists so the 5 CUC you pay for breakfast is not really worth it.

Probably the best experience we've had with accommodation this whole trip. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Really made our stay memorable.

The owner were really helpful. TheyThey even got up with us when we had to get a taxi at 5 am to the airport. The house is very central yet quiet. The house is lovely and the breakfast was really nice as well. They even helped us with our laundry for a small fee.

Nice accommodation in Central Havana in walking distance to Havana Vieja. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfasts was big and tasty: fruits, eggs, bread, marmelade, fruit juices and coffee. The only minus for me was the lack of windows in the rooms (only to windows to the inner yard, which couldn't be opened anyway) but I guess that might be typical for Havana buildings.

The host and place are amazing. Very warm welcome and they also let us deposit the baggauges for many days. So kind of them

We had a wonderful time in Havana staying at this Casa, warm, friendly and helpful hosts. I only gave 90 for the location because it was a 15 minute walk back from Havana Vieja after an evening out but to be honest it was a safe walk and you got to see a real neighbourhood on the way back that you would not see if you stayed in the tourist area.

Space is very clean, however due to lack of ventilation (no outside windows in the room) it is very musty and smells mouldy. Not great for those with allergies. Location is ok; I would definitely stay in Habana Vieja next time. Breakfast for 5CUC/person great value. Fina is amazing, she organized our transportation and casa in Viñales, which was wonderful. I would not stay here again because of the space, but Fina y Daniel were great hosts.

This stay was one of the best we have in Cuba. We had clean room with small bathroom. Fina was very helpful however we don't know very well in Spanish and she don't know very well in English. Thank you Daniel y Fina.

Excelentes personas. Me sentí como en casa. Un desayunó completo por 5 cuc . Una ubicación entre la Habana vieja y nueva. Y a 5 cuadras del malecón. Súper recomendable.

Fina was very helpful to us in ringing about our flight. She left us coffee in a flask as we had to leave at 3 am the next day which was good of her.

Didn't realise there was a flight of steps but probably our fault for not noticing this. Noisy building work going on above which continued even after he has asked to stop ( this at 9-10pm ).

nuestra estancia en casa de Daniel y Fina fue una gran experiencia. No pudimos estar mejor atendidos, a cualquier hora del dia. En cuanto a los servicios prestados, los desayunos mas que recomendables! Por una cantidad mas que económica obtienes un desayuno bastante completo, unas tortillas de queso riquísimas con fruta y pan. Y para los amantes del marisco, no se pueden ir sin probar la langosta casera. En definitiva, alojamiento mas que recomendable. Si vuelvo a La Habana, repetiría seguro. Muchas gracias a Daniel y Fina por todo!

Daniel y Fina made my stay very comfortable, they have been very helpful. I'd stay there again. Central location, safe, possibilites to buy water and snacks in walking distance.

Fina et Daniel nous ont rendu une grand nombre de services: Reservation de collectivos, adresses de casas dans les villes que nous voulions visiter, et de très bons conseils sur les endroits à visiter à la Havane. La casa est située dans une belle ancienne maison coloniale ce qui fait aussi tout son charme ! Et nous vous conseillons le petit déjeuner, juste magnifique ! L'adresse à conserver lors de vos passages à la Havane !

We had a lovely 3 night stay with Daniel and Fina, who were very helpful with recommendations and advice. Location is in newer part of Havana about 15 mins walk from old Havana and I think I would stay in the old part if I went again.Would recommend.

Very clean casa, great location on a walking distance to central Havana and Vedado too. Near is a small fruit market with tasty pineapples and avocados. Daniel and Fina are very welcoming and nice people. Fina provided us with map and informations about transport, attractions and working hours. My friend and I stayed 4 days in July and we are highly recommending this casa.

daniel and fina were great hosts, helping to arrange transport and tours. house was well equipped and comfortable to stay in. the house is on a main road in central havana, very local, and about a 10-15min walk from old havana where most of the attractions are. a bicitaxi to old havana cost us CUC4 for two people

The rooms were spacious, clean, and the air conditioning worked. Fina was very helpful and friendly and really went the extra mile helping us make various phone calls (our Spanish was dreadful) and helping to sort out problems with unexpectedly cancelled flights.

This casa was the best casa that I stayed in when I was in Cuba. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was big and delicious. But the best part for me was that Daniel and Fina were extremely friendly and helpful! They are both very welcoming and approachable and even though I disturbed them multiple times they were never annoyed with me and they helped me find accomodation in other cities as well as directing me to the bank, the shops and wifi locations. I did not want to leave and I will probably be back again soon as I miss them already.

Had a fantastic stay at a beautiful Cuban casa during may2016 ,Made to feel very welcome and catered for by Daniel & Fina . Great location and great food. Would recommend this casa to anyone traveling to see the Real Cuba!

Although we arrived very late, our host welcomed us kindly. We enjoyed a room with ample space and the typically decorated Cuban living room and patio. The house was a short 10-15 Min walk from most attractions. A supermarket was opposite our house and a taxi at a fair rate was arranged by our host back to the airport

Daniel y Fina is a perfect place to stay in Havana. Daniel and fina are welcoming and are great hosts. The place is in a central location, walking distance from the old Havana attractions and close to other bustling parts of town such as Verado and the Malecon. 100% recommended

Loved this casa! It was so beautiful and Fina was very kind and helpful during our stay. The room was large and we had a private bathroom. Fina helped us with dinner reservation and had great reccos for walking around Havana. Definitely stay here!

A colorful and comfortable home in central Havana that allowed us to walk to most city sights. Taxis or pedi bikes were readily available nearby for more distant destinations.

Daniel y Fina went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We took advantge of the optional breakfast every morning and afterwards they were more than happy to answer our never ending flow of questions about Cuba. They also assisted with phone calls for reservations to resturants. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely couple to anyone visiting Habana.

AMAZING! We loved to stay with Fina. Breakfast was great. Room was great. She was really helpful with organising things. If you wanna stay where Cubans live than go to Fina! :-)

Buena atencion

We spent there 2 nights. Owner was very friendly, she gave us the map and helped us orientate on our first day. Fina made delicious breakfast! The room was simple, but large and clean. There was a TV corner in the house and you can use the kitchen. Interesting location, not far from centre. Gladly recommend, we enjoyed!

Chambre propre, très bon accueil de Joséphina et de Daniel. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Le logement est très bien situé dans un quartier populaire. A 10 mins à pieds de la vieille havane ou du Vedado.
