Casa Daniel y Fina

Hi everyone. I have spent two nights however after first night I had to pack myself and change the room. Very incovenient! Good location and value for money.

On our first nights in Cuba we really enjoyed our stay in this house with Liz as a host. Our room was quite spacious and very clean. On our second stay in Habana, we got the smallest room (nothing wrong with it) but the bathroom is quite small. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the real hosts as we felt only as a business than a guest. The house is 20 min walking from Parque Central with the most basic breakfast among all our stays on our 2-week vacation in Cuba. Food is quite expensive for us tourists so the 5 CUC you pay for breakfast is not really worth it.

Probably the best experience we've had with accommodation this whole trip. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Really made our stay memorable.

The owner were really helpful. TheyThey even got up with us when we had to get a taxi at 5 am to the airport. The house is very central yet quiet. The house is lovely and the breakfast was really nice as well. They even helped us with our laundry for a small fee.

Nice accommodation in Central Havana in walking distance to Havana Vieja. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfasts was big and tasty: fruits, eggs, bread, marmelade, fruit juices and coffee. The only minus for me was the lack of windows in the rooms (only to windows to the inner yard, which couldn't be opened anyway) but I guess that might be typical for Havana buildings.

The host and place are amazing. Very warm welcome and they also let us deposit the baggauges for many days. So kind of them

We had a wonderful time in Havana staying at this Casa, warm, friendly and helpful hosts. I only gave 90 for the location because it was a 15 minute walk back from Havana Vieja after an evening out but to be honest it was a safe walk and you got to see a real neighbourhood on the way back that you would not see if you stayed in the tourist area.

Fina and Daniel were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us arrange transportation to our next city, and gave many helpful hints for making the most of our stay in Havana.

Their house was very comfortable, clean, with wonderful breakfasts, and I was very happy to be staying in Central Havana where we could walk to almost all sites of interest, including Havana Viejo and the Vedado. I highly recommend their Casa Particular.

This stay was one of the best we have in Cuba. We had clean room with small bathroom. Fina was very helpful however we don't know very well in Spanish and she don't know very well in English. Thank you Daniel y Fina.

Fina was very helpful to us in ringing about our flight. She left us coffee in a flask as we had to leave at 3 am the next day which was good of her.

Didn't realise there was a flight of steps but probably our fault for not noticing this. Noisy building work going on above which continued even after he has asked to stop ( this at 9-10pm ).

Great place to start a trip in Cuba, central in Havana, easy walking to change money and sights. Hosts, Daniel & Fina could not be more helpful, wonderful breakfasts, would love to stay again.

Daniel y Fina made my stay very comfortable, they have been very helpful. I'd stay there again. Central location, safe, possibilites to buy water and snacks in walking distance.

Very nice casa. Large room with two double beds and one single. We had a lovely time here although the area is a bit rough.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with Daniel and Fina, who were very helpful with recommendations and advice. Location is in newer part of Havana about 15 mins walk from old Havana and I think I would stay in the old part if I went again.Would recommend.

A wonderful casa with such kind, welcoming and helpful hosts (and the most delicious Guayaba juice we had anywhere).

daniel and fina were great hosts, helping to arrange transport and tours. house was well equipped and comfortable to stay in. the house is on a main road in central havana, very local, and about a 10-15min walk from old havana where most of the attractions are. a bicitaxi to old havana cost us CUC4 for two people

The rooms were spacious, clean, and the air conditioning worked. Fina was very helpful and friendly and really went the extra mile helping us make various phone calls (our Spanish was dreadful) and helping to sort out problems with unexpectedly cancelled flights.

This casa was the best casa that I stayed in when I was in Cuba. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was big and delicious. But the best part for me was that Daniel and Fina were extremely friendly and helpful! They are both very welcoming and approachable and even though I disturbed them multiple times they were never annoyed with me and they helped me find accomodation in other cities as well as directing me to the bank, the shops and wifi locations. I did not want to leave and I will probably be back again soon as I miss them already.

Had a fantastic stay at a beautiful Cuban casa during may2016 ,Made to feel very welcome and catered for by Daniel & Fina . Great location and great food. Would recommend this casa to anyone traveling to see the Real Cuba!

Although we arrived very late, our host welcomed us kindly. We enjoyed a room with ample space and the typically decorated Cuban living room and patio. The house was a short 10-15 Min walk from most attractions. A supermarket was opposite our house and a taxi at a fair rate was arranged by our host back to the airport

This casa is highly recommended, everyone is friendly and helpful- they will help you out with anything you want to know or book! The breakfast is lovely and all the other visitors that we met were really nice and friendly too.

Daniel y Fina is a perfect place to stay in Havana. Daniel and fina are welcoming and are great hosts. The place is in a central location, walking distance from the old Havana attractions and close to other bustling parts of town such as Verado and the Malecon. 100% recommended

Loved this casa! It was so beautiful and Fina was very kind and helpful during our stay. The room was large and we had a private bathroom. Fina helped us with dinner reservation and had great reccos for walking around Havana. Definitely stay here!

A colorful and comfortable home in central Havana that allowed us to walk to most city sights. Taxis or pedi bikes were readily available nearby for more distant destinations.

Daniel y Fina went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We took advantge of the optional breakfast every morning and afterwards they were more than happy to answer our never ending flow of questions about Cuba. They also assisted with phone calls for reservations to resturants. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely couple to anyone visiting Habana.

AMAZING! We loved to stay with Fina. Breakfast was great. Room was great. She was really helpful with organising things. If you wanna stay where Cubans live than go to Fina! :-)

We spent there 2 nights. Owner was very friendly, she gave us the map and helped us orientate on our first day. Fina made delicious breakfast! The room was simple, but large and clean. There was a TV corner in the house and you can use the kitchen. Interesting location, not far from centre. Gladly recommend, we enjoyed!

I loved my stay at this casa. Fina and Daniel are honest and genuine people. The casa is walking distance from everything. It's is very safe and they are very knowledgeable about things to do in the city. They are very respectful and helpful. Best casa I have gone to so far.

Fina was a fabulous hostess. they were available to answer all our questions and provided us with breakfast whenever we needed one. the room and washroom was quite comfortable and clean. the Casa itself is quite beautiful, high ceilings and large rooms. my only suggestion would be to get rid of the trash in the room and washroom everyday. we were about a 20 min walk from the centre, which is fine for us because we like walking, but may be a distance for others.

Casa Daniel y Fina was amazing. These two people are so kind, helpful and they really look after you. We were 4 nights but we could have stayed there so much longer. Breakfast and Dinner from Daniel was so delicious and the location is very good, you can get to any place by foot! We had a really good time and I really recommend this casa!

Daniel and Fina are wonderful people. They have a lovely home in the center of Havana, which is about 10 minute walk to all the big tourist attractions. They serve a deliciously and very affordable breakfast in the mornings, they provide laundry services, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. They also helped my group orientate ourselves on our first day, and always had great recommendations. I highly encourage people to choose Daniel and Fina as we had a wonderful experience.

Daniel and Fina are great person! :) The place is well localised taking into acount the price. You can't get a cheaper place in such a good localisation.

nice, clean 3-room apartment (1 single bed and a matrimonial each room) with shared bathroom located in Habana Centro, 10 minutes walk from Malecón and the Capitolio. The owners, Daniel and Fina, are a lovely retired couple who care 100% for their guests and give a lot of advise about what to do in La Habana, but only in Spanish (English isn't that good). Daniel is an excellent cook, ask for lobster!

We enjoyed our stay really much there, as the owners do not live there (as in other casas particulares in Cuba) you have the whole appartment for yourself - big plus!

Prices for rooms, breakfast and dinner are quite moderate, it's really worth it!

Casa Daniel and Fina was the best choice we could have taken! During the 4 months in Cuba i stayed there five times, with my friends, with my dad, my boyfriend. Fina and Daniel are are two of the most endearing Cubans I met, always caring for you. They show you where to go in Havana, have so much information material and always prepare great fresh juice :) The huge flat is exceptionally clean, has three spacious rooms and a huge bathroom. You can use the kitchen, TV, whatever you like. Special hint: Try their dinner, its too delicious!
