From the main train station: Santa Maria Novella, you can walk to the hostel in about 15/20 minutes or simply get Ataf bus N. 11 and get off at the second stop after the bridge (SERRAGLI - OSTELLO SANTA MONACA). Or Ataf bus N. 6, 36, 37 and get off at the first stop (PESCAIA DI SANTA ROSA) after the bridge when the the bus turns to the right. And walk back towards the Gelateria La Carraia then down Via dei Serragli to the second traffic light and turn right into Via Santa Monaca.

By foot,you have to locate Piazza Santa Maria Novella next to the main train station. Walk towards the river Arno passing through Via de Fossi. Cross the bridge 'CARRAIA' and go straight ahead to the second traffic light (about 200 mt from the bridge) and then turn right into Via Santa Monaca. We are at number 6. Check also for the signs indicating 'OSTELLO' after the bridge.

If you arrive in Florence through 'Campo di Marte' Railway Station. You can take bus N. 12 to the main central station Santa Maria Novella and follow the directions above.
