R4R BCN has a sweet location, the rooms are fine, lockers provided, small bathrooms, a small kitchen and small living area, staff were pleasant..
But for 10€ a night for a mixed 6-bed dorm you won't find cheaper for 10,000 kms (i.e. India) haha.

Расположение гостиницы отличное. В принципе, все необходимое есть- кухня, душ, туалеты, комнаты более- менее нормальные. Но все по минимуму.На этаж поднимает лифт, это очень удобно. При заселении нам пришлось ждать полтора часа, на рецепшен утром никого не было. Предлагалось позвонить по телефону, но для нас это очень дорого- по роумингу. Но обслужили нормально. При выселении можно бесплатно оставить вещи на рецепшен. В общем, вполне хорошо, но не идеально. В других хостелах условия часто бывают намного лучше. И рецепшен работает круглосуточно, а здесь гости просто бросают ключ в ящик.

La verdad que me ha encantado sobre todo por el precio que hemos pagado, las duchas con agua muy calentita a cualquier hora, las habitaciones con calefactor pero mas que suficiente, ademas de esta muy céntrico y han tenido muy buena atención con nosotros.si volviera a Barcelona sin duda sabría donde alojarme.

I was in share-room, unfortunately doors to room were faulty so it was difficult to lock them, on the other hand they we very old so it was easy to pull them and have access to the room - I didnt feel that my belongings were safe. Price for towel is not included towel costs 2 EUR (there is no information about it). Service is nice. Hostel is situated close to loud street but has good location.

nosotros reservamos una habitacion para 4 y nos dejaron una con 3literas eso si estabamos solos.la ubicacion era excelente muy cercana al paseo de gracia y a plaza catalunya.las habitaciobes no estan aisladas se oye todo el ruido de fuera y de la gente del hostal que llega a las tantas de la noche en no muy buen estado

Ostello in zona centrale, camere pulite e abbastanza spazione, 4 docce e 3 bagni, zona comune carina con alcune comoditá. Se non si é al 2º piano non si ha la cucina e bisogna spostarsi, staff ottimo.

Rooms 4 rent was a pretty cool place for the location and cost. My room was right on a main street so it was constantly load. Definitely get what you pay for and the atmosphere of people was pretty cool. Made loads of new friends

Buon posto per chi non ha molte pretese e per chi viaggia con amici.
Camera soddisfacente per la cifra corrisposta, le lenzuola e i cuscini lasciano un po a desiderare.
Nel periodo di permanenza, non è passato nessuno a pulire la camera e dubito che passino spesso nei bagni in comune.
Va bene come punto d'appoggio x ragazzi, un po meno x la coppia.
Staff disponibile e buoni i servizi offerti - WiFi,internet e sala ricreativa.

Location is really great, so close to the Catalunya Square and the beginning of La Rambla street. Beautiful view from the appartament on the 6th floor. I really appreciate that Hostel accepted Erasmus student discount and we had to pay only for 5 nights and stayed 7! Good price :-)

Niewątpliwie największym atutem hostelu jest miejsce- samo centrum, można sporo oszczędzić na dojazdach. Standard bardzo podstawowy, ale ceny również niewygórowane. Śniadania ok, tylko lepiej przyjść wcześniej, bo jak ludzie coś zjedzą, to więcej nie jest już dokładane.

Me and my sister booked a double room with shared bathroom on the 5th floor, for 1 week in september. till 00:00h it was no problem to use the lift but after midnight it was advised to use the stairs to our own security :)
The bedroom was big enough with a freestanding metallic closet. moreover there were a little table an two chairs.
The bed was quiet comfortable, but dont have to many expectations- cause nonetheless its a hostel not a 5star hotel. Unfortunatly we had the room right beside the big street- it was very very loud all the night- the city never sleeps, so u do neither! but for less than one week it is okay. i think.
The bathroom was okay. Clean but old and there were fungal traces in the jointing. So take flipflops with you in any cases! Warm water all the time!
We had 30°C each day so it was very hot at nights too and it was hard to find a compromise between closed windows/hot room- cause no air conditioning.
The breakfast is horrible! Toast bad jam and cornflakes. The "dining room" was too small for all vistiers so it seems to be a battle field for the guests.
TIP: almost around the block theres a supermaket which sells fresh baguettes and other cerealic bread and cheese etc too. you can keep the rest in the fridge on oyur own floor. We baught 8 litre bottle water.
Its a very CENTRAL HOSTAL! for shopping only 5 min by foot. the ramblas is 7 min away. and there are 2 metro stations (plca catalunya and universitat) from where you get ver quick to everywhere u want. It has a COOL CENTRAL POSTION only a little bit too loud.
The staff ws really nice and spoke english very well. There was no trouble with them and we had luck that always we needed them they was available althougt the office was closed. Other visitiors was not that lucky, because although the staff had to be there they wasn't. so dont take the opening times too serious.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME !! its cool but next time i would prefer a quieter room.

I staied there in a single room and can recommend it! The staff was nice! The bed was okay and the showers not that you know from a 5-Stars hotel but I think for Hostel it was okay.

Ostello molto bello e curato, a pochi passi dalla Rambla e da Plaza Catalunya. Silenzioso e con uno staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Di "negativo" c'è solo la cucina un pò piccola e poco fornita dal punto di vista delle stoviglie. Ma per il resto è ok!

Yo reservé una habitación privada y era chiquita pero muy bonita. La ubicación es perfecta, se puede caminar de ahí a los sitios más importantes o llegar al metro en un minuto.
Lo malo es que las zonas comunes son feas y están medio sucias, la cocina huele mal y los baños no dan mucha confianza.
El desayuno sólo es pan que puedes tostar tú mismo en los tostadores, mantequilla, mermelada y café, creo que podría estar mejor.
La gente de la recepción es muy amable.

Ottima posizione, 5 minuti da Placa Catalunya e la Rambla; personale disponibile; poca pulizia( bagni e cucina sono davvero poco puliti); colazione al minimo; in cucina funziona solo il frigo. Se si capita nell'altro edificio non ci sono pc e radio, la tv si ma non funziona. Consigliato solo per dormire e basta.

Localization is perfect- 5 minutes to La Rambla and Catalunya Pl. There is quite clean in rooms and bathrooms. Only the kitchen is a little bit messy. I like to eat well for breakfast and that what is served in that hostel is to poor to me. Because the hostel is localized near the main street there is a lot of noise even durning the night hours.

Personale disponibilissimo e ottima posizione! A due passi da Piazza catalunia e quindi dalla Rambla. Peccato per la stanza anonima, completamente diversa da quella mostrata dalle foto e per la pulizia...c'erano capelli nelle lenzuola il primo giorno e gatti di polvere sotto il letto....il bagno pulito.

Its a nice hostel, it is not suitable for hifi people, except few gliches this hostel is good. Staff is also friendly. Breakfast is good, bathrooms are clean. Free internet system is also available. I have reached before check-in time, though I got ready and went out to roam in the city.
