Aldebaran BnB

Room and bathroom were very nice and clean. Laura, the hostess, is very helpfull and accomodating. Location is near Termini and within walking range of the Colloseum and metro. Price is a bit expensive for a hostel, but nonetheless we had a great stay.

The Aldebaran B&B was excellent. Laura, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us great dining suggestions and really knew the local sights. Laura ordered the cab for our 5:30 am departure and had a to go breakfast for us. She taught us some Italian and was very fun to interact with. We would highly recommend staying here.

Genial! Las habitaciones son amplias con decoración esquisita y limpieza perfecta! El desayuno estupendo lleno de detalles y el capuccino riquisimo! Lo mejor ha sido el trato de Laura ( la propietaria) super educada y amable. Siempre con una sonrrisa en la boca y dispusta a ayudarte en todo lo que necesites en Roma! Me he sentido como en mi propia casa y es un B&B que recomendaria con mucho gusto para todos los que quieran un trato esquisito y un alojamiento cómodo y agradable! Tienen una perra, Rumba, que es una monada, super cariñosa! Para mi el mejor alojamiento de este tipo que he visto!

Non è facile trovare deiposti come questo....lo consiglio vivamente

In erster Linie ist dieses kleine Hotel geprägt von der Freundlichkeit und Gastlichkeit der Betreiber Salvadore und Laura ! Sehr sauber und ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Spezieller familiärer Charakter zum Wohlfühlen ! Kurz gesagt: für uns die erste Adresse, wenn wir mal wieder ein paar Tage in Rom verbringen wollen!

A four minutes walk away from Metro station, Aldebaran B&B is also a very beautiful small hostel, the host takes outstanding care of visitors and was very friendly. For example, he called Galleria Borghese to make reservations, when we talked about visiting it.

This is a great B&B. Good value for money. With a nice staff that makes you feel at home. The rooms are nice and the location is perfect. On our next visit to Rome we will certainly come back to Aldebaran.

Aivan LOISTAVA mesta! Henkilökunta oli yltiöystävällistä ja Huone + kylpyhuone erittäin siistejä. Omat avaimet käyttöön, joten voi tulla ja mennä miten haluaa. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet. Tässä paikassa on hinta-laatusuhde enemmän kuin kohdallaan.

Excelente lugar muy acogedor uno se siente realmente como en casa, Laura es una persona muy amable y entrega datos muy buenos por ejemplo: donde ir a comer helados o donde comer una rica pizza o como llegar para conocer una feria tipica de Roma, excelente lugar y muy, muy recomendable.

We went end yanuary 2008 in Aldebaran B&B. We were very pleased with Laura's attention to satisfy every wish. Very kind and nice people (anh her husband Salvador).The rooms are very kleened, the bath-Roma bathroom:)We recommend this hotel to every, who wants to spend the night near to historical city.

Wir waren Ende September für ein Wochenende hier und haben uns super wohl gefühlt! Salvador und Laura waren sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die Zimmer waren sauber, ruhig und freundlich eingerichtet, die Betten super!!!

Wir würden sofort wiederkommen...

Das Aldebaran liegt sehr günstig in der Nähe des Bahnhofs in einer Seitenstraße. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Betreuung, wir wahren angenehm vom Frühstück überrascht, das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sehr zu empfehlen

Es un sitio a recomendar y también para repetir, por la amabilidad de Laura y Salvatore, muy útiles sus consejos de los sitios a visitar. Destacar los desayunos ¡¡buenísimossss!!! y la decoración de la mesa detalles muy cuidados. El baño muy limpio y muy bien equipado con secador, geles, jabones y toallas. La habitación muy cómoda, limpia y amplia.Libertad de uso de nevera y terraza común. Excelente Laura y Salvatore.

Aldebaran est une petite auberge très agréable, avec 4 pièces.

j'avais une très belle pièce avec une salle de bain très propre et confortable.

Laura et salvador sont très amical ils t'aident et te donne les meilleurs conseils pour les tours touristiques.

Chaque matin Laura nous a faits un petit déjeuner super,capucino,thé,café, croissants, gâteau, toast et jus... super!!

L'auberge est à 10 minutes du colloseum,e 15 min de la gare Termini.

Laura et Salvador ont été très accueillants et ce a été un vrai plaisir rester dans leur très belle maison.

Je recommanderais à tous mes amis, eux et leur B&B, c'est ma maison romaine loin de ma maison.

Excelente atención de Laura y su equipo, siempre atentos a las necesidades de sus huéspedes. El B & B está en una casa preciosa, impecable, a pocas cuadras del Coliseo. El desayuno es completo y muy bueno. Las habitaciones y el baño son espaciosos y elegantes. Todo de muy buen gusto. Lo recomiendo a todos!!!

Recomiendo este lugar por su buena comunicación ( cerca metro ) , limpieza excelente, desayuno variado y abundante, geniales los capuchinos y sobre todo por la atención y amabilidad de Sergio y Laura . En fin, si volvemos a Roma no dudaremos en repetir.

Está en una ubicación excelente, cerquísima del centro, de 3 paradas de metro y otras tantas importantes de autobús. Los anfitriones están dispuestos a ayudar y aconsejar sobre cualquier cosa, te reservan en las visitas guiadas y galerías que quieras. Habitación, baño y guardarropa amplísimos.Llaves para entrar y salir cuando quieras. Un verdadero placer.

Great b&b staff were wonderful and most helpful. House is beautiful, Great location walking distance to some sites Metro is 5 mins away.

Only issue one of the bathrooms has a bath/shower but you have to hold the shower piece to use it as there is no where to clip it on to.

And Breakfast is a bit average 1 crossiant and breads and jams perhaps a few pasteries or cheese and ham would be an improvement (but I didnt go hungry.)

SIn duda si regreso a ROma regreso a este albergue. El personal es muy Amable, Laura es muy buena persona. 100 % recomendable, es limpio, cerca del metro y muy buenas personas!!!

Warm reception by Salvatore even with late arrival. Very good cappuccino with demonstration of technique of preparation. Very silent at night. Recommend it so very much.

Un gran b&b, acojedor, limpio y a 10min del metro(Manzoni). Laura y Salvatore son muy amables. El desayuno está muy bien, el capuccino es brutal!

Aldebaran is a very nice little hostel, with 4 rooms for rent.

We had a beautifull room, and our own bathroom.Everything was clean, and cosy.

The owners Laura and Sergio, and their friend Salvator, where very helpfull and friendly.

Every morning Laura made us a super breakfest, tea, coffee, croissants, cake, toast and juice...super!!

The hostel is at 10 minutes-walk from the colloseum,and 20min from Termini.

B&B with only three rooms. don't know the other two, but our room was ample, clean, quiet and comfortable, with a view on orange trees over the street. Very friendly and helpful owners, great cappuccino.

Would stay there again.

la posizione del B&B è davvero ottima (in 10 min a piedi arrivi al colosseo), la zona è cmq ben servita dalla metro. Laura, sergio e salvatore ci hanno accolto calorosamente e dato le giuste dritte (la colazione con cappuccio e brioche è l'ideale per iniziare bene la giornata :o). Abbiamo trovato sempre in ordine e pulito il bagno in condivisione e le stanze sono veramente carine ed intime. Nella zona ci sono delle belle trattorie a buon prezzo (i consigli di laura e salvatore sono attendibilissimi!)...grazie anche a loro il nostro capodanno a roma è stato memorabile!

We had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. The rooms were very nice and clean. It is a 15 min. walk from the colloseum and a 3 min. walk from metro Manzoni. The area is quiet, Laura was very helpful and for us it was a sort of home in Rome.

This is a family run B&B. The hostess was very welcoming, spoke English well and gave excellent advice on touring Rome. Location was excellent. Would recommend.

The house, the room and the bathroom were beatiful (very well furnished) and very clean, the area is really secure and it is very well located (15 min walk to the Coloseo). An excellent B&B in a quiet side street about a 15-minute walk from Termini train station. Close to shops and transport, fabulous ensuite room with high ceilings and pleasant view. Host family very helpful and relaxed. Great breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

Siamo contentissimi: accoglienza gentile, atmosfera familiare e cordiale, disponibilità per tutte le nostre questioni, proposte inattese per godere Roma al massimo, prontezza per render conto di nostri desideri (p.e. la colazione), amabilità dell' ospite e i suoi collaboratori, l'uso della terrazza di sopra, la pulizia della stanza e del bagno. Breve, un indirizzo da passare avanti.

Laura and Salvador made our stay in Rome perfect. The house is charming, very clean and located in a safe area. If you have any questions - ask Laura and she will help you! If we will return to Rome once, we hopefully can stay at Aldebaran B&B again!

The hostel is perfectly located, in a very good area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house is decorated with good taste and style, combining the comfort of a very good hotel with the warmth of a family house.

The B&B is good located, couple of minutes from Coloseum and other sightseeings. The staff is very nice, gives you a lot of advices and tries to help you with almost any problem. And the great terrace on top of the B&B is like a cherry on a cake :)

We had a wonderfull time in Rome. The room was perfect in a very beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood. Laura and Sergio were very hospitable and explained a lot about things worth to visit and how to get anywhere we wanted. We really felt at home.

We would definitely recommend Aldebaran B&B to anyone else.

The most amazing people run this place. It feels like arriving home, like family. Laura and Sergio take care of making you feel like a guest. I am from Mexico and let me tell you it is hard to find some place like that in Europe. Laura spent a lot of time telling us about her life and culture, I loved it. The best place you will find.

This is a very nice place to stay in Rome. The whole house is very nice and comfortale arranged and everything is clean. By bus and tram it's easy to get there, it's not far from termini but very quiet located.

Laura & Sergio (and of course Emma) are so friendly and kind we've never met before. They made us feel like home.

Many thanks and hopefully see you soon at our next trip to Rome.
