We really, really loved our stay here. If you're a pretty active person, you can easily walk anywhere in Rome (3 mile radius) and if you're not, there's a metro stop about a block down. Breakfast is light and carby--you'll want to prepare accordingly. The owner is great! Check out the fridge and kitchen on the roof top terrance if you're interested in cooking your own meals!

Room and bathroom were very nice and clean. Laura, the hostess, is very helpfull and accomodating. Location is near Termini and within walking range of the Colloseum and metro. Price is a bit expensive for a hostel, but nonetheless we had a great stay.

The Aldebaran B&B was excellent. Laura, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us great dining suggestions and really knew the local sights. Laura ordered the cab for our 5:30 am departure and had a to go breakfast for us. She taught us some Italian and was very fun to interact with. We would highly recommend staying here.

A four minutes walk away from Metro station, Aldebaran B&B is also a very beautiful small hostel, the host takes outstanding care of visitors and was very friendly. For example, he called Galleria Borghese to make reservations, when we talked about visiting it.

The Aldabaran was amazing! The staff was so friendly and informative and you instantly felt that you'd made friends who could help you during your stay. The location was just a short walk from the colosseum and only a block from the metro, but nest of all, the apartment was huge, clean, comfortable and lovely. I highly recommend the Aldabaran to anyone who wants to experience rome from an Italian's perspective. We will definitely stay here again!

Great b&b staff were wonderful and most helpful. House is beautiful, Great location walking distance to some sites Metro is 5 mins away.

Only issue one of the bathrooms has a bath/shower but you have to hold the shower piece to use it as there is no where to clip it on to.

And Breakfast is a bit average 1 crossiant and breads and jams perhaps a few pasteries or cheese and ham would be an improvement (but I didnt go hungry.)

Aldebaran is a very nice little hostel, with 4 rooms for rent.

We had a beautifull room, and our own bathroom.Everything was clean, and cosy.

The owners Laura and Sergio, and their friend Salvator, where very helpfull and friendly.

Every morning Laura made us a super breakfest, tea, coffee, croissants, cake, toast and juice...super!!

The hostel is at 10 minutes-walk from the colloseum, and 20min from Termini.

Our stay in Rome wouldn't have been the same w/o staying here. Our day started w/ warm croissant, fresh juice and Laura's delicious cappucino. We head off to almost all the tourist attractions (Salvador will give you good advice!) on foot, thanks to the proximity. At the end of the day we enjoyed our walk back passing by the Colosseum. Laura welcomed us back and we had a plesant chat. The big and comfortable bed had been made clean, we took a shower in the very clean bathroom, then had very good sleep. We felt at home. Yuri and Yu.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. The rooms were very nice and clean. It is a 15 min. walk from the colloseum and a 3 min. walk from metro Manzoni. The area is quiet, Laura was very helpful and for us it was a sort of home in Rome.

The B&B is good located, couple of minutes from Coloseum and other sightseeings. The staff is very nice, gives you a lot of advices and tries to help you with almost any problem. And the great terrace on top of the B&B is like a cherry on a cake :)

Can only recommend.

The most amazing people run this place. It feels like arriving home, like family. Laura and Sergio take care of making you feel like a guest. I am from Mexico and let me tell you it is hard to find some place like that in Europe. Laura spent a lot of time telling us about her life and culture, I loved it. The best place you will find.

This is a very nice place to stay in Rome. The whole house is very nice and comfortale arranged and everything is clean. By bus and tram it's easy to get there, it's not far from termini but very quiet located.

Laura & Sergio (and of course Emma) are so friendly and kind we've never met before. They made us feel like home.

Many thanks and hopefully see you soon at our next trip to Rome.

Very friendly staff. Excellent rooms - clean and well presented. Location is difficult to trace due to the small street and no significant signs on the exterior of the building on the street. We were unfortunate as Manzoni stop, closest to the accom. was closed during our visit.

The best B&B experience we have ever had. Gorgeous house, great location to Termini with short walk to Metro. Beautiful terrace for outdoor living/eating/unwinding. Owner Laura gave us great advice on restaurants and all tourist areas of interest, help with bus and train schedules. A very nice kitchen is reserved for guests' use. Laura went far out of her way to help us with several major challenges we had while staying with her. A most gracious host in a wonderful environment. Very homey and cozy, but elegant. We were sorry to have to leave after 4 days and move to another more expensive and disappointing B&B in Rome. Most highly recommended.

Awesome house + Unforgettable people. In Aldebaran you feel at home: it's such a beautiful cozy house with ample rooms & bathrooms exquisitely decorated with the tiniest detail, everything you might need. But of course the best treat is Laura, a woman that becomes your friend the very instant you meet her. She's such a helpful, nice, amusing, fun person that you'll never ever regret going to her house. The best thing my friend & I can say about Aldebaran is that we had never gone before to a B&B and after living there we'll be looking for more 'Lauras' all around the globe, she's that good ;) We'll never forget you!

the best option for a stay in rome not only because of the small hause-wich is truly a jewel, the wonderful rooms and maybe the best cappuchino in the world, but especially because of laura and emma, who are giving you a feeling of staying in a family and showing you how beautiful live can be

The room was very cosy and much more intimate than in a hotel. The house is stylish and nicely furnished (marble stairs indeed). Good breakfast. Good location though the metro stop was closed and Rome's bus system is psychedelic. Supermarket 2 min away. Above all, Laura is very nice and helped us a lot during our trip. Definitely worth the price. Fanny and Max.

Very nicly furnished rooms, bath outside the room but near and comfortable and beautifull. The hosts Laura and Sergio were very friendly and helpfull. Good region, near colosseum and not fare from center and quiet, in a street with nice houses and little traffic.I and my friend we can recommend this place.
