Conte House

Cuando llegamos no teniamos habitacion y nos mandaron a otro hostal .... Muy irresponsables

English:

I reserve a doublebed room for two days, 2 weeks before the arrival and i payed reservation fee. When we arrived the staff said us: "i see your reservetion, but we have no free room, sorry, try an other hostel"

Otherwise the hostel is very dirty and ugly.

Egy kétágyas szobát foglaltam, két éjre, két héttel érkezés előtt, ráadásul fizettem foglalót is.

Amikor megérkeztünk a személyzet közölte, hogy igen, itt van a foglalás, de nincs szabad szobájuk, próbáljuk máshol.

Köszönjük...

Egyébként a hotel kifejezetten koszos és undorító.

Nice place with polite staff. Breakfast could be improved with fresh made bread instead of cheap dried toasts.

the staff are really nice and helpful. gave us a lot of useful advice about the trip in Rome. near the metro station. all equipment needed is provided.

Well located hostel, right in the centre of Rome, very friendly and helpful staff, free internet access. Room and breakfast simple, but good for that price. Bathroom smelled bad.

It was a really nice stay at Conte House, Fabio was really helpful and I really recommend this Hostel!!!

from my point of view: i would prefer that they use not plastic-dishes for the breakfast, but appearantly that is normal for italy =/

and WATCH THE CHECK-IN time! i came too early and nobody was there..

the internet works perfektly and you can use it whenever you want to! same with the fridge!

there is even a tiny balcony you can sit and have breakfast on! that is really nice!

the location is perfect as well; it is close to the statoin Roma Termini as well as the colosseum

Very nice place in a good neighbourhoud with good restaurants and public transport. Colosseum at walking distance. we did not stay home for the 'italian'. Hop on the street and get a coffee and something to eat in the bars (the italian way).

Conte house was a very positive surprise: the location is very good (we never needed to take any kind of public transportation; very good place to eat nearby - la Cuccuma or smth); the room was clean with towels, soap and shampoo, cleaning was done every day w/o exception; Fabio (the owner) was nice and friendly, the breakfast was simple but good (much better than expected). Fun: we were not looking for fun at the B&B-just a place to sleep, so no problem. Atmosphere: Only some loud guests of the B&B might be a problem in the night. In short: I would recommend it!

la doccia era molto sporca con muffa e calcare,finestre non sonorizzate prima notte mai dormito,seconda con tappi e colazione assai misera senza una stanza apposita

Plus: le B&B est très bien situé: prèe d'un grand arrêt bus où on peut prendre facilement la ligne 87 ou 03 qui va aux plus principaux monuments et sites archéologiques. Wifi inclus marche très bien. très bon rapport qualité prix. recommandé à ceux qui cherchent un endroit pour se reposer le soir.

Moins: se situe sur une grande rue donc très bruyant à cause des bus et voitures qui circulent même la nuit.

Nosotras lo pasamos muy bien.Era como estar en casa, estabamos muy poco en el piso y parecia que estabamos en una casa de intercambio.La pega el desayuno, que dejaba bastante que desear.Internet gratis estupendo!!

Milo, czysto i wszędzie blisko. Minus za to, że nie wiedzieliśmy z góry o dołączanym do ceny podatku (2 euro os./dzień) i słabo wyciszone okna (ruch uliczny aż nadto słyszalny). Generalnie jednak raczej pozytyw.

nice room. Breakfast was fine, but italian (coffee, tea and milk & prepacked crossaints). wifi Internet did not always work, but there is a computer on which you can use internet for free.

Hostel is OK. My recommendation for everybody who search good place for reasonable money.

Es mas un piso de alquiler que un hotel. Nos costó encontrarlo ya que buscabamos algun cartel o halgo y tan solo venia el nombre en el portero. Lo pasamos muy bien y el trato fue agradable, al llegar te dan las llaves del portal y de la habitacion. El desayuno es cafe o te con un bollo. Las habitaciones son grandes y comodas,la unica pega fue que no cambiaron las toallas,pero las pones a secar en la ventana y listo.

molto pulito, piccolo e discreto. la zona è tranquilla ed è veramente a due passi dal colosseo!

5 telefonate perchè mi aprissero all'arrivo.pagati 5 euro per lasciare i bagagli in corridoio 4 ore(!!).buona pulizia.colazione per modo di dire..

The only thing that is negative is the breakfast. Coffe and a croiassant. Small and simple and it been served on a table in the corridor. You can not sit down at the table.

conte house was a very affordable choice for our group. we had a private room/bath and it was pretty spacious. we also got the only balcony which was really nice! the breakfast was mediocre, just basic pastries and coffee. the location was not in the city-center, but it was really close to the coliseum which was nice. you had to take the metro to things like the trevi fountain, spanish steps, etc. but it was a short ride and not difficult to get to the station from conte house. the staff was very friendly - they let us keep our bags there the day we were checking out (we did some sightseeing during the day since our departing flight was in the early evening). overall, i would recommend conte house. thanks for the great service!

Cerca del coliseo. El lugar bastante limpio, cobran por dejar las maletas el dia de salida! El internet es muy lento pero gratis :)

Localizzato in una via principale a 5 minuti dal colosseo, 5 dalla metro e circondata da ristoranti e tutto quanto possa servire. Buona la pulizia. Le brioches di colazione non sempre sono ottime.

Habitacion limpia, confortable, bien comunicada tanto con metro como con autobuses, cerca del Coliseo. La atencion personal muy buena, muy atentos siempre dispuestos a aclararnos cualquier duda sobre la manera de desplazarnos por Roma. La relacion calidad precio excelente para quien busque una habitacion para descansar despues de un ajetreado dia en Roma.

Muy buen sitio. Habitaciones muy confortables, buena ubicación, limpieza, y el personal muy agradable. Lo recomiendo mucho!!

I was there from 5.02.2010 till 7.02.2010.The hostel is very well located, near to metro station, near to Termini station and all historical places.The breakfast is very poor, only one croasan per person and coffe, tea or milk. Is clean and very hot inside wich is cool. We were there 9 girls and we have a nice time. It is cool place for 20 EU per night !!!

The best place I have been to. Lot's of other hostels in Rome are much worse! A very good place to stay! I recommend Conte House!

Good location, excellent support from Anna concerning Rome. It is just a place to sleep. I will come back there

En general ha estado bien,la chica muy servicial.La habitación,limpia,y con aire acondicionado, que era de agradecer dado el calor que hacia,pero si tenemos una pequeña queja que cuando pedimos el desayuno no nos lo dieron por falta de personal en ese momento y no nos dieron otra opcion, ni descuento ni nada.

A very nice place to stay. You can feel like one of the inhabitants of Rome. The staff is really great and heplful. We would like definitively to come back there.

El hostal cuenta con buena ubicación,cerca del coliseo, terminal, y buenas conexiones de metro y bus. Hostal sencillo bueno para pasar unos días de turismo en roma. El trato del personal es magnífico y se atiende bien a los huéspedes

Very clean, good prices, good position. Since it's on the street with lot of traffic, it could be noisy in the room.
