I don’t recommend this hostel. It was an awful experience. There are not keys from the door. A problem occurred with our check in, and there is not wifi at all. Be careful with the choice of this particular hostel, because it is not as in description )

just opposite to the termini train station, really convenient but not if you're checking in. sometimes the staff is out and you have to wait downstairs not knowing when sb will open the front door for you. ring for ARTHUR hostel not DINO.

Talán nem voltunk eléggé körültekintőek a foglalásnál,de mi nagyon rosszul jártunk. El kellett volna olvasnunk részletesen az előző véleményeket. Mi magasabb kategóriás szobát kértünk (saját fürdő,franciaágy).A bútorok rendben voltak. Viszont már a szobába jutásnál kellemetlen volt,hogy az irodán át kellett átmenni,ahol az alkalmazott feküdt a kutyáival a kanapén. Az első éjjel után csípésekre ébredtünk. Sajnos ágyi poloskák csipkedtek össze minket,amire a párom súlyosan allergiás.Még mindig tele van kiütésekkel. Ráadásul a mai napig attól rettegünk,hogy hazahoztunk e belőlük a bőröndben vagy a ruháinkon. Inkább keressetek másik helyet vagy drágább kategóriásat. S az a kommuna,amibe ott belecsöppentünk,nem vendégcsalogató. Róma belvárosa azonban gyönyörű,s a rómaiak vendégszerető nép,ha találkozol olasszal. Mert a pakisztániak és a kínaiak vannak többen.

ci hanno dato le stanze alle 20,30 di sera perché ancora le stavano ultimando dei lavori di ristrutturazione, ci hanno dato una stanza priva di finestra, l'acqua calda è arrivata il giorno dopo sollecitata dalle nostre lamentele,mancava la manipola della doccia per far uscire l'acqua. l'acconto versato all'atto della prenotazione non è stato considerato e non ho capito questi soldi che fine hanno fatto;non ci hanno chiesto documenti rendendo dubbia la legalità della struttura; i gestori non comprendono benissimo l'italiano creando qualche problema.Me ne sono andata molto amareggiata dalla struttura

Salve,grazie per la vostra lamentelle. Perche non dice che avete modificato tante volte il tipo di camere invece che la prenotazione che avete prima era soltanto una sestupla con bagno in comune e una doppia con bagno privato al costo di 400 Euro. Avete chiesto la modifiche per due doppie e una quadrupla e poi un altro modificha che la quadrupla diventa una tripla e poi la tripla il secondo giorno una persona va via prima. Non è mai diventato cosi perche una doppia andata via dopo secondo giorno senza il vostro pre avviso. Escusa abbiamo lamentato a Lei che non è cosi che dovete pagare per tre notti intera? Non lo sa Lei oppure l'ha visto come abbbiamo lavorato solo per accontentare tutto quello che volete? Perche non avete fotografato le camere che abbiamo dato di quell' prezzo che abbiamo dato. La manipola della doccia avete rotto voi perche era nuova e non possiamo cambiare con quell' momeento perche era sabato, non lo sa Lei che chiuso la ferramenta il pommeriggio. Con i servizi che abbiamo dato e le belle camere che abbiamo dato non trova nessun parte con quell' prezzo. Devi essere contenta, Perche i soldi che avete pagato non hai pagato di quell' servizio che abbiamo dato anche della sincerita da parte nostra di dare un buon servizio. Siamo Piu ammareggiata della vostra risposta da parte nostra.

HORRIBLE!! NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED, specially if ur a family! first of all we didnt get the original place as it was being renovated and WE WEREN'T NOTIFIED before hand.and the alternative we got was a disaster.dirty living room with suffocating home and dogs everywhere and full of cigarette smoke.i paid for the night and left it with in an hr as it was unbearable.. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !!

We have been informed during check - in that instead Dino hostel we would stay at cherry hostel. For us it had what we expected - perfect price and 15minutes walking from di Trevi fountain :) and the centre..very close to Colosseo! But in the mattresses of our roommates were bugs!!They have been complaining a lot. Fortunately our mattress was clean and without bugs. Eventually beds of our neighbours disappeared, so I guess owner had been informed about bugs and they had thrown the beds away! For people who wants to have great location for great price and will not stay in the room (except of the nights) – I would fully recommend it. Enjoy Rome! It is amazing!

Es muy raro todo. Cuando llegue era un depto, nadie sabia de mi reserva, era como si no fuese el lugar. La gente rara al principio. Pero despues ben. Aunq no te da la confanza para dejar las cosas yu eso La termini es fea de noche.

The Hostel was really fun, breakfast was included and a nice change from the crossaints we had the 8 days before. The other guests were really nice and the staff as well. The only thing we did not quite like was that we could not lock our room. Except it was awesome.

Не советует этот отель- район жуткий, к сказали местные, туда даже полиция не ездит ! Встретили нас администраторы пьяные и очень подозрительных. Мы развернулись и ушли искать ночлег!! Потеряли деньги на бронь.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSTEL. One of the owners does not speak English and more importantly it is crawling with bed bugs.

El trato bastante amable, pero el nivel de limpieza es lamentable. Sitio económico y con personal amable, tienes que ir predispuesto a encontarte con suciedad y en que va a ser un sitio donde sólo vayas para dormir. Ubicación excelente y barrio que a pesar de lo que se dice, es bastante seguro. Recomiendo que busquen otro hostel por esta zona, ya que los hay muchos mejores, por el mismo precio y más limpios

Eh um lugar aconchegante, as dificuldades que se tem, sao esperadas para qualquer hostel, porque nao eh igual a um hotel. Mas a simpatia da administradora faz nos sentirmos em um hotel cinco estrelas.

there were a lot of small insects - bedbugs... horrible!
they changed the proce after arrival to the hostel.
they smoked in the kitchen and for the breakfast was only marmalade and bred. (they wanted me to pay extra for it...)
at the last night from the 6 bed room they made 9 person room.
it was awful unclined, it was stinken from igarets, the elevetor was broken.
it was only one + the location but ypu can find a lot of hostels near termini.
there were no lockers...even if on the website the wrote something else.

Es el peor hostal en el que estuvimos mis compañeras de viaje y yo. Es sucio, las sábanas huelen a sudor, tiene bichos que pican (parecidos a las pulgas) y están por toda la habitación. Por culpa de eso, estamos tomando medicamentos ahora. No tiene ascensor. El desayuno es lo único bueno. La zona es bastante fea, oscura y mal oliente. Pero lo peor, nos cobraron el 50% del valor de la reserva un mes antes. Recomiendo que nunca reserven en este hostal, deberían cerrarlo. Realmente es antihigiénico.

We were supposed to stay for 6 nights last week, and ended up only staying 2 nights.
I had to go the doctor on the 3rd day because I was severely allergic to the bed bugs which attacked me both nights. I had to go and find a doctor, get a needle and pay 140 euro. The doctor wrote a signed letter saying I could not stay there anymore and that they should reimburse the doctor's fee and/or the remaining 4 nights accommodation. Neither of these payments were refunded to us.
Upon asking, we were yelled at and treated terribly by the person working at the guest house we stayed at (not Dino. Which we weren't aware of until the day we left). We felt scared and trapped by him because of the way he yelled at us and made fun of my doctor's visit and we were scared for our own safety because of how he treated us. Even from the first day he was unhelpful, apparently only changes the bed sheets once a week, despite who has slept in them. There was also no cold running water in the bathroom sink, and the toilet often would not flush.
The day I got back from the doctor and we had to leave was the day he yelled and made us feel very unsafe. So we waited outside until another man came (who we were told was Dino, but was not). Dino finally then arrived, but all three men were arguing and we felt cornered. We kept asking for the money back but they would yell at us and talk over us and just tell us they would take us to another one of his hostels in Rome. We did not trust them and I was already suffering from the bed bug bites. They would not let us speak, we felt cornered so we ended up just leaving, without any refunds for the 4 nights we could not spend there (for safety AND health issues).
A few other people staying there were arguing with the worker at the one we stayed at, they felt unsafe around him, others got bitten by the bugs and the area in general felt very unsafe.

Bonjour a tous. J'ai laisse ici quelque phrase concernant l'auberge de jeunesse Dino Giolitti. Tout d'abord le personnel de hostel n'était pas gentil avec moi ni avec les autres personnes venant du monde entier : du Japon, Brésil, Turquie , et l'Europe.M. Emiliano qui nous a reçu était très peu aimable, surtout la propreté de l'établissement, le manqué d'eau chaude, et monter jusqu'au le 5 étage sans ascenseur nous a fatigué et contrarier beaucoup! Le personnel responsable M. Emiliano m'avais changer de chambre la date du 3 Janvier, alors que a mon arrive j'étais prévu, sauf que lui non avait pas changer les drap du lit que il avait proposer, je savais rien pour ce que regarde les draps c'était un couple de garçons qui nous partageons la chambre disait que le personnel n'avait pas changer les draps de mon lit. Alors, que lendemain je me suis trouvée avec le corps plein de butons piqué par les puces que se trouvait sur les draps sales! Or, je suis tomber malade a cause de ce problème. Je voudrais laisser un petit mon à l'employeur de personnel de hostel Dino Giolitti : Fauter dehors M. Emiliano il est nulle dans ce métier !!!

Abbiamo trovato lenzuola sporche (per fortuna avevamo le nostre), nel lavandino del bagno in camera l'acqua fredda usciva con il contagocce e l'acqua calda era bollente, così da rendere difficoltoso anche lavarsi la faccia. La cornetta della doccia era completamente intasata, tantè che abbiamo preferito svitarla e farci la doccia con il tubo. Sarà anche un ostello che costa poco, ma non si può prescindere dalla pulizia.

Hi! I was very unconfortable there...If you can avoid it, don't go. I believe it'sbetter to pay a little more and sleep better...The staff is very rude and doesn't make you feel even safe.

Solo diré: pulgas, carabinieri por la noche y dueños entrando a las habitaciones como Pedro por su casa mientras duermes (si duermes, tu imagínate que estas a otra cosa y te entran). En fin, un cachondeo. La zona, al lado de Termini (un poco chunga pero pese a eso está bien localizada). Y nada, debo decir que aunque los colchones eran horribles, me reí bastante de la experiencia (por no llorar), no me lo creía..xD

Not the most beatifica and safe área in ROME. It is just by the train station. Not só celas and the internet is terrible.
Dont really recommend this place unless you want something really Cheap and you don't mind the área or the cleaness of the place.
They were nice to me all the time and for everything I needed.

I staid in this hostel in july 2011. A guy from Brazil was complaining about bed bugs. We didn´t considerer the consecuenses then, but about 6 month after the bugs appear in our home. They are extreemly difficult to kill, they are a really big problem. Be cearfull with these bugs.

Sono ben 5 le strutture che appartengono al proprietario del Giolitti Guest House. Io sono stato mandato allo "Cherry Hostel" a 200 metri dal Giolitti stesso e posso fare quindi,una relazione su di esso. La struttura inizialmente sembrava un pò angusta e gestita tutta da extracomunitari. Dopo la prima impressione però è andato tutto benissimo. I gestori sono persone oneste e precise,il costo in base alla posizione in cui si trova,è davvero economicissimo e una volta ambientati si sta davvero bene e tranquilli. Chiaramente condividere la stanza con sconosciuti non è mai piacevole,ma devo dire la verità,era tutta buona gente. Buona impressione quindi e consiglio a chiunque abbia bisogno di un alloggio comodo ed economico,di andarci.ciao da Davide Della Rocca

Rooms were dirty, staff was incompetent and was speaking only italian, there was no water in the bathroom during whole our stay and don't believe in promotions!!!the last day we were kicked out of the room despite we had one more night booked!horrible!the only good thing was location-near termini station but it was also in dangerous area;/ and breakfast?one croissant and coffe;/don't believe in adverts!!

Cuando llegamos habia un hombre (en estado de embriaguez)esperandonos fuera y vimos un precinto de la policia en la puerta, es decir, el hostel había sido cerrado por orden policial. Este tipo depués de llamar varias veces por telefono nos dijo que nos llevaba a otro hostel que tenía el dueño. Fuimos caminando hasta que se encontró con otro tipo (también estaba borracho) y debía ser de procedencia del Este, que nos condujo hacía un piso. Cuando llegamos al piso y nos mostró la habitación nos quedamos heladas... nos querían meter en una cama de 1,35cm a tres personas y ustedes tenía que ver que cama. A parte de esto, teníamos que convivir con otras 5 personas en una habitación que no podía tener más de 4*3 metros.
El tipo nos indicó que le debíamos 135€ por la habitación, y por supuesto nos negamos a pagar semejante cifra. Amenazamos con llamar a la policia y el tipo se largo.
Por tanto, me parece que este hostel es una trama organizada por una panda de sinverguenzas y ladrones que nos han estafado 15€ y ustedes se les asemejan bastante ya que debería de cerciorarse de que las empresas que trabajan a través de su web, son de entera confianza. Por lo tanto, nos sentimos estafadas tanto por el supuesto hostel como por ustedes y por supuesto nos encargaremos de publicitar esta situación en todos los foros y redes sociales posibles para que ninguna persona vuelva a confiar en ustedes.

This guest house is terrible. Actually they're closed now. After the first night I stayed there, the staff told me that I had to change the room because they had 5 guests reserved this room. I left my luggage there, and when I came back, there a notice with authority's seal, that means they're closed and the staff lied to me. Fortunately, I was moved to other hostel which is better than the Dino Giolitti guest house.

For the price, this B&B was a shame. Seven persons in the same small dorm. No locker, nowhere to put our luggage in a safe place, no locker on the door. One of the 2 restrooms was almost in the kitchen.
But here comes the worst part. A sprung was coming out right in the middle of my the mattress and the mattress was completely smashed. As for my friend, a slat broke every time I was moving in his bed.
We achieved to sleep less than 3 hrs this night.
Thankfully, couchsurfing exists so we moved the next morning.
But I must say that the staff was really nice.

Ottima posizione, accanto alla stazione termini e alla stazione degli autobus. Bisogna pero' avere spirito d' adattamento: sembra d' assere nel bronx (zona stazione appunto....) ma sono tutti tranquilli in realtà. Questo dettaglio lo metterei per correttezza nella descrizione dell' ostello!

Muy cerca de Termini aunque en una zona un poco más sucia. La habitación de matrimonio con baño privado es aceptable pero sin ningún lujo. Mucha libertad para entrar y salir pues dispones de llaves propias. Desayuno también aceptable que te sirves tú mismo. El edificio es muy viejo pero tiene ascensor.

non badate a tutto quello che di negativo si scrive sul Dino.Lo staff è accogliente,l'ascensore funziona,non è sporco,la colazione è abbondante (tranne il fatto che il caffè è solubile).l'unico "problema" è il quartiere, centrale ma degradato...ma non è colpa loro!!!stanza spaziosa, letto comodo e tv LCD.siamo stati benissimo.lo consigliamo a chi non ha grandissime pretese.
