Knowing that the boat is not as spacious as hostels in Amsterdam, it has its own special atmosphere. Breakfast included is perfect to start your day.

Very good place to stay for the weekend. Great breakfast which you can enjoy looking outside at the nice views of Amsterdam :). Excellent location. Helpful and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it!

A bit noisy (you hear every step on the boat) but for a few nights it's perfect

Sometimes too much noise at night becose of the other customers...That's the only anoying thing with this hostel.

small cabins but exactly what we expected from a boat. Breakfast was really good an by foot its only a few minutes into the city so... Top!

At first I didn't know it a boat which was very funny. The hostel is in great location. Not far from a library, central train station and city centre. I hope to visit it again.

ボートホテルということで、初めての人は十分雰囲気を楽しめると思う。ただ、部屋はちょっと狭いかな。スタッフは気さくな人で対応は良かった。

The boat is an excellent place to stay as it is only a short walk to most of the tourist attractions. The staff is amazing providing help wherever they can and keeping the boat very clean. As it is not a solid house it can be a little bit loud at night. Good breakfast.

the boat friesland was very good, the manager was 5 stars, the boat, the breakfast and the ambient too!

the room has one problem, too small but do not forget that we are in a cabin crew boat, and the smell of the canal during the night was terrible, but at the end everything was OK.

Il "Boat" è ben posizionato, carino, ma le stanza sono dei loculi nei quali manco ti ci puoi girare, la "finestra" è un oblo' piccolo piccolo e sopratutto NON SI PUO' FUMARE...

6 women aged 25-40 stayed for a city-break. The smell in the front cabins is foul (smelt like sewage) disguised very badly with sensor air freshner. If you want to sleep AT ALL then you had better be the only guests. Cabins are minute and you cannot sit up in bed and can only just about stand and dress one at a time while yr companion waits out In the hall. Breakfast is bread, cheeses and juice. Showers were hot. States no curfew but by 9pm Captain Roy was asking us to be quiet! Although for the stag party staying at the same time this rule was relaxed at 5am when it was ok to be as noisy as you like and congregate above the bedrooms waking everyone up. On the whole we loved Amsterdam but are gutted be did not book Into a hotel or hostel.

We loved our stay aboard the Friesland! Good location, near the central station and walkable distance from many attractions. Rooms are very small, just know what you are getting into! But the boat is comfortable and Roy, the captian is wonderful! Gives great suggestions for things to do and is such a welcoming and friendly guy. We had a great time hanging out in the common room and talking to other guests during breakfast (which is good as well!)

Peu cher, bien placée, très bon accueil, très sympa.

Le seul point faible est l'isolation phonique. Mais on oublie vite ce point faible, car le lieu est vraiment très sympa.

Super nett,Zimmer vollkommen in Ordnung, allerdings nicht für lauschiges Liebeswoe geeignet....Sehr netter Owner.Frühstück super (kann man auch mal etwas länger geniessen)Getränkepreise super (1,50 Euro jedes Getränk) Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke John !!!! :-)

The room was smaller than we are used to, but that is to be expected of a cabin. Everything else was perfect - the staff was extremely helpful in giving suggestions about the city, the location was very close to the centre and the overall amience was chill and relaxed.

Una opción de alojamiento muy especial y diferente en Amsterdam.Muy buena relación calidad-precio.El desayuno y la ubicacion de 10!Quizá como aspectos negativos: estrechez de las habitaciones y un cierto olor denso pero no olvidemos que es el camarote de un barco: es lo que hay!!! Repetiria sin dudar

es hat uns sehr viel spaß gemacht dort die drei tage zu wohnen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und offen.

Camarotes pequeños pero acogedores.. Si Repetiria definitivamente la experiencia...

Está bien para una noche de paso, pero son habitaciones muuuy muuuy pequeñas, casi no entran dos personas y son literas y a las 08.30 de la mañana despierto por el ruido de la bomba de la calefacción que hace. El personal genial y el desayuno excelente.

Todo correcto... siempre tomando en cuenta que es un bote y por tanto posee limitaciones adicionales de espacio, se escucha todo y la descarga de los servicios (una o dos veces al día) produce un olor desagradable que se soluciona cerrando la escotilla del camarote. Resaltan su propietario, una persona muy simpática y atenta y el desayuno, mejor que en muchos hoteles caros en los que me he hospedado.

Saludos desde chile, estuve en Febrero por Amsterdam, este hostal es espectacular, partiendo por el desayuno Buffet, repito espectacular.

La noche en que llegamos nos atendio el mismo dueño (capitan del barco)

exelente atmosfera, limpieza, esta a 15 minutos camuinando a paso lento de la estacion de trenes. tiene convenios para arrendar bicicletas muy baratos, cerca del barrio rojo. lo recomiendo 100% el unico detalle que al ser un barco de verdad los cuartos son muy pequeños, pero es parte de la experiencia supongo. volveria sin duda

Sitio que lo recomiendo si lo que quieres es dormir desayunar y volver para dormir otra vez. Muy original y su ubicacion de 10 a escasos 10 m andando de la estacion central y el barrio rojo.

Contudo a insonorização é fraca na zona dos quartos.

Muito limpos nas zonas publicas.

Quarto deviam ser limpos com mais frequência. Limparam o meu quarto ao 5 dia de lá estar.

também deviam ter mais cabides por e atrás da porta, assim como, mais tomadas de electricidade nos quartos (havia 1).

cannot use credit card,a little bit far away from city center,room not clean every day,toilet have very bad smell!But the boss is really kind and nice which is the reason we stay there.

This is our second stay on the friesland boat. Very nice place, charme, but a few more steps to the city centre.

Very noise place special at night and when the people walk around the boat. Last room at the stern smells like shit, very bad. Very nice Breakfast, excelent cold beer.

un poco pequeño, pero para dormir bastante bien. el dueño es bastante enrollado y te da mucha informacion para visitar la ciudad. si buscas algo barato solo para dormir esta bien

einmaliges preis-leistungs-verhältniss, natürlich ist keine royal-suite zu erwarten, aber die gemütlichen kojen, die nette atmosphäre und der authentische käptn ;) sind einzigartig. das B&B BOAT FRIESLAND liegt keine 10 min vom hauptbahnhof, jedoch in ruhiger lage. der seegang beeinträchtigte den gleichgewichtsinn nicht, sondern wirkt sehr beruhigend. die sanitären einrichtungen sind ausreichend- nicht mehr, nciht weniger.

jedoch ist das inkluierte frühstück von großer vielfalt und das büffet wird mit viel liebe jeden morgen frisch hergerichtet.

das freundliche und multilinguale personal des hostels hat jederzeit ein offenes ohr für fragen und wünsche und gibt gerne gute tipps für die amsterdamreise.

ich kann das B&B BOAT FRIESLAND aud ganzem herzen weiterempgehlen!

the breakfast was superb the rooms are a bit small as expected on boats, but the bed was comfortable. there is a laptop there for travelers without one to use the internet.
