IHSP Chicago Hostel at Damen CTA

Excellent.

I stayed there twice in my 3 week trip in America. Staff are super friendly and the location is great. If you're a light sleeper this may not be the place for you as a few of the rooms are right next to the common area. This hostel also has cooking facilities.

1st timer and is was awesome!! Actually cooler than staying in a hotel... Definatly will do it again!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathrooms were in great condition.

This was a great place, clean with a nice big common area with a kitchen, tv, couches, etc. and beds were comfortable.

Only hostel I stayed at in America so can't compare it to much usa wise but was a great hostel with good communal areas and all that jazz

We really enjoyed our stay at Chicago IHSP hostel. Staff where friendly and helpful, with lots of helpful information around the lobby about the city and how to get to different places. Overall the hostel has a lovely friendly vibe and is situated in a great area only a train ride away from the main city. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I stayed at the hostel for two weeks and I had a great time. The hotel receptionists realy managed to catch the right atmosphere ;)

LA UNICA CRITICA CONSTRUCTIVA ES:MEJORAR EL DESAYUNO, A MI CRITERIO SI BIEN EL CAFE CON LECHE ME PARECIA UNA EXCELENTE OPCION PARA DESAYUNAR Y ADEMAS HABIA OTRAS OPCIONES COMO TE, AGREGARIA PAN PARA HACER TOSTADAS O ALGUNA OTRA OPCION ADE,AS DE LOS PANUQEUES YA QUE ES UN HOSTEL Y RECIBEN A DISTINTAS PERSONAS DE DISTINTAS NACIONALIDADES Y NO TODOS COMEMOS PANQUEQUES. I really loved staying there, everyone was so friendly and I made friends from all over the world. If I'm ever staying in a hostel again IHSP will be my first choice; 10/10!

Muy buen hostel, bien ubicado y con muy buen staff. Las camas algo incomodas.

I had a nice stay bu the first two days were though. Initially I was sent to a room without either windows or air-conditioning. It was warm in Chicago. After some complains I was relocated and I thank the guys for this. But think that Hostel mananger should rethink about how to accomodate singles in rooms. Out of that, the place is safe, the environment is nice and it provided me with an economic and convinient housing solution during a 5 days stay at Chicago.

Muy agradable lugar para hospedarse, por desgracia tuvimos problemas con el aire acondicionado y la velocidad de wifi.

Hostel muy aconsejable. Gente muy maja, buenas instalaciones aunque algunas literas son mejorables.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, cerca del centro de la ciudad. Buena ubicacion para restaurantes y salidas nocturnas.

J'ai passé un moment merveilleux de rencontrer d'autres voyageurs séjournant au personnel IHSP.The était génial et avait d'excellentes aptitudes pour le service à la clientèle. Je me suis senti à la maison pendant mon séjour. Je vais rester à la IHSP prochaine fois que j'irai à Chicago. Continuez l'excellent travail rédacteurs IHSPI!

I liked a lot! I'll toltally recommend it. Nice spot to anyone that wants to stay near the best points of chicago. Friendly guests, clean and nice staff.

Had a problem with external air conditioning. The machine was too noisy, but the staff did nothing to help me. A couple of nights sleeping really bad

Internet sucks takes an hour to load a web page not clean bugs crawling around bedding only two tiny blankets and a pillow that's so thin I even folded in half doesn't equal a full pillow if the tv is in use its boring staff wasn't to helpful it's not like what they say and super close to the L train its a good 5 minute walk to the station overall take the money u r spending to stay here and get a hotel room you will be much much happier

Hostel je na odlicni lokaciji cisto blizu postaje, minus to da je v 2 nadstropju in moras kovcke s tezavo dvigovati po stopnicah. Okolje in sam hostel sta super prav tako zaposleni

The location for this hostel is absolutely amazing. It's a few steps from the Blue Line train which will get you almost anywhere in the city, maybe with a bus transfer. There are so many restaurants and bars in the area, as well as great concert venues. Highly recommended.

Desayuno: cafe y pancake (que te haces tu mismo en la plancha).

Derecho a cocina.

Duchas con poca presión, y aunque pocas, no suele haber problemas de sitio.

Las habitaciones del piso de abajo ruidosa es poco....., y las del piso de arriba, aunque menos, tambien ya que las paredes son de papel, y se oye todo (pasillo, habitaciones, secadores, ruido de la calle, la gente que llega/se va).

Habitaciones muy pequeñas, sin armarios, y colchon sin mas.

Fuimos en mayo, y mucho frio en la habitacion, sin calefaccion.

The hostel is located near some interesting stores and restaurants and the subway is really close. The hostel was always clean and the staff was friendly. The room is not big but comfortable. I really recommend the hostel for young people

I had cancel the reseve before 3 or 4 weeks, but sitll have to pay guarantee money. So unreasonable.

This hostel has a big inconvenient: it is very noisy, because of the streets and the guess, when we were there.

Impressed! The check-in staff weren't the friendliest ever but still a good experience.
