Love love love the Hairy Lemon. After staying there 4 nights I was sad to say goodbye. It is more like living in an apartment with friends than staying at a hostel. By far my favorite hostel so far! Only complaint is you will be tired of pancakes by the end of your stay... you'll see what I mean if you stay there! Absolutely recommend to any young traveler, especially if you are traveling on your own since they make it so easy to meet other people!

I absolutely loved my stay here. They are so laid back and friendly. I wished I could have stayed longer. Oh and free pancake breakfasts every morning!

Excellence is not enough to describe this place. Wonderful and friendly atmosphere, great staff. The hostel keeper Claudy is insanely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast included.

Nice hostel with friendly owner. A little away from the center, but that's not always a bad thing. If I ever return to Sarandë, I will be sure to stay at the hairy lemon again!

Nice atmosphere. Located in apartment on top floor with balkony and great view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Although Saranda is only good for a base and does not offer much to see beyond concrete blocks, this hostel may make you stay longer...

Annette and her staff are friendly and helpful and make a mean breakfast. A little hard to find but good location once you have arrived.

The Hairy Lemon was a great experience! It felt like home straight away and Annette was super friendly, welcoming as well as so helpful in what to do in and around Saranda! Everyone should come to Albania and stay at Hairy Lemon, I hope to come back! :)

Best hostel we have ever been to. You may consider going to Albania just to see this hostel. It is clean, you get good breakfast, you could hang out all day in the beautiful garden, great bar, fair prices, nice guestkeeper, wonderful creative decorations, bikes, lonely beaches not to far away, simply awesome!

Awesome hostel! Brilliant position right next to a beautiful beach. Run by a gorgeous Irish lady - Annette. She was heaps of fun and helped us out a lot! It was like a home away from home. Very clean, with comfy beds and lots of space. I would recommend the place to anyone.
