Stayed at the Mara Guesthouse with 2 other friends while interrailing in September 2014. Had a really pleasant stay :) just for one night as that was our plan but would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. The owner was really lovely and the view- oh my!!! 100% rating for the view over Dubrovnik and the ocean, beautiful!! Very clean and good facilities
One negative point - too many steps to get up to the house! As with all of the city. Although there are taxis and buses etc the directions to he hostel could have been a little better

All was great :) We booked for three but than a friend joined us.. the owner was really kind and she added a bed without problems! Thank you for ur kind and hospitality :)

is the cleanest hostel that i ever visit. is very good choice and also very comfortable. is close to old town but you have to climb more than 400 steps for returning back for old town. if you can handle to gym everyday is good. i highly recommend it for the value of money and for the cleanness.

We lived in very, very clean room with great view on Dubrovnik.
Not far is the ability to free park car. It is very important because every hour of parking in Dubrovnik is very expensive.

The guest house was magnificent with a balcony that overlooked the town and the majestic waters of the sea. A wonderful family that made us feel at home.

Mara runs a very clean and comfy guesthouse. We greatly enjoyed the ocean view from our balcony and the beds were good. Mara's English is limited and the location is quite a ways uphill but otherwise I only have positive things to say and I would stay there again.
