Miriam House

We had a really nice time at Miriams House. The breakfast was very delicious and a big variety of things. The room is very nice and extremly clean. The host was very friendly.

Very nice casa. Breakfast was phenomenal!

The casa is clean and easily accessible from main roads if you have a rental car. The room is spacious and they have a large bathroom.

The workers of Miriam provide a pretty extended breakfast with the usual casa breakfast and additional maizena porridge.

Be aware the house is pretty northern to actual downtown Camagüey. It's a 20min walk to the north of the centre, a usual 30-45min walk when you heading to a restaurant or specific spot in the middle of downtown.

Furthermore, the house has it's living space pretty much outdoors with the main area separated with the street by large climbing plants. The downside is your room is pretty noisy at night with crossing people or traffic. We might have just been here on the wrong days, but we awoke by increasing traffic through the street in the early morning.

The casa has it's own parking space below the house, which makes it easy and comfortable to park. Miriam charges about 2CUC for her parking space.

Our stay was perfect; the hostess was very kind and our breakfast specially prepared with the vegetarian in our group in mind-- quite a spread of food to jump start us for the day. our room was tidied each day and the towels plush. we could not recommend this place enough. good choice.

Miriam helped arrange taxis, made an amazing breakfast, gave us a map and great directions of how to get around town. Her place is a little further out but you'll enjoy the walk and all the sites on the way to the main plazas. PS there is a wonderful church down the street that welcomes all.

Miriam is a very gratious host. My wife, son, and I truly enjoyed our stay!! I would highly recommend Miriam House!

OK, big appartments, Breakfast delicious, much choice... Staff friendly.

We really liked our stay at Miriam house, even if it was for 1 night. It is setup in a way that you have a living and kitchen to your disposal. Via an internal bell the host is only a ring away and lives next door. Breakfast was excellent and we could Parc our rental car around the corner in front of the family's restaurant (in the backyard) that also comes warmly recommended.

We spent there one night. Everything was perfect, especially the marvellous breakfast.Muchas Gracias to Miriam Guerra de la Cruz.
