Claudia was extraordinarily discourteous. She stated she called and confirmed a reservation for me at a casa particular in Veradero and that Yamie, would meet me at the bus station in Veradero, holding a sign with my name. I arrived in Veradero. No one was there waiting for me or holding a sign with my name. I waited and waited. Finally, I took a taxi to the address given to me by Claudia. I arrived at Yamie's home. She had not received a call from Claudia. In fact, she does not take in guests. I wasted more money taking the taxi back into town, now not having a place to stay or knowing where to stay!!!

First of all I am not a stripper, since the client arrives solely my intention is that the client will feel very well and satisfied in our hostel and in our city, but I can not answer for the compliment of the people who receive The clients in other hostels in other cities that they compromise and then they do not fulfill. You arrived at my hostel and I was always very worried that you would be satisfied with us, but I think you are not a grateful person since I manage your lodging in Varadero as you wished because I had no place to stay and it is not correct that it complies with me due to the non-compliance of the person that if I had confirmed that I could receive it. That was not in my hands. But likewise it will always be a pleasure to help everyone The customers in everything I could be.

Great stay at Casa Fini! Claudia and her family are extremely welcoming and helpful, could not have made our stay any more comfortable. Lovely Casa in a quiet area of the city within walking distance to the centre of town. Claudia speaks very good English and was able to point us in the right direction for everything we needed from our stay.

Claudia is only interested in getting as much money as possible. Breakfast is terrible and she has no proper accommodation in her hous. We had to change our stay from three to two night and she refused to adjust the price accordingly. She is giving home state and Cuba a bad reputation. Here license should be suspended.

Our Hostal Casa Fini has a very good reputation thanks to all the clients who have passed by and have left with the best of opinions and very grateful. It is a shame that older people like you whom we help unselfishly think in this way, When I, Claudia, only worry during all their stay to help them in everything they need like for example to look for a taxi at 5 am. Our Hostal charges for all its rooms the same price, at no time they were asked for a price Different, and the room was asked if they liked it and if they felt satisfied and they always said yes.
Our breakfasts are very satisfactory and specially prepared for all types of customers, concluding they are asked if it was to their liking and I always say yes. As for me, I am Claudia, our hostel works for the client to feel totally satisfied, It is a shame that people like you who are older have spoken so poorly about our hostel and me when our only interest ever since arriving is to be aware of their total satisfaction.

The greatest hostesses, the greatest, most generous service I have ever received at a hostel in my life. I have stayed at many hostels, and none even come close to comparing.
I am only 20 years old and this was my first time visiting Cuba. They took care of me like I was part of their family. I will always be grateful and thrilled to have left this beautiful country knowing I have made new life long friendships with the owners. Can't wait to visit you again! Thank you both for everything.

Fini and Claudia are wonderful! We really felt like being at home with them! They gave us a lot of interesting information and tips about everything we needed,they also book other place for us to stay when we were visiting other cities!they teach us some spanish too!

Far away fm old habana,20-30mins by walking to there.
House located on kind of ghetto area,not recommend ladies walking alone.
The room which I stayed was high ceiling,noisy air conditioner and fan,shared bath room.shower's water didn't get through well.
The owner and her daughter are kind,but asked many times extra breakfast,dinner. I had dinner once,but I'm sorry it was poor...it didn't much that cost.

es una pena que turistas como usted se expresen de esta manera de nuestro sitio cuando todo el tiempo estuvimos pendiente de su estadia en nuestro hosta.No sabemos por que hablan asi de nuestras calles,cuando todos los dias llegaban a nuestro sitio a cualquier hora sin ningun tipo de problemas.El aire acondicionado no presenta ningun tipo de problemas,solo que al parecer ustedes lo utilizaban en ventilador,o no saben utilizarlo,porque el mismo esta en perfectas condiciones y es nuevo.Respecto a las preguntas que se les hacia diario pues es importante para nuestro hostal saber si usted se siente comodo y si requiere de alguno de nuetsros servicios.Hostal Casa Fini,se encuentra justamente en el centro de La Habana,y desde nuestro sitio hasta la Hvana Vieja que esta queda ubicada a un costado caminando no es 30 minutos,sino 15 minutos aproximadamente,sin embargo la calle 23 que tambien forma parte del litoral da La Habana nos queda a 10 minutos caminando y ustedes no hicieron mencion de esta.Nuestro hostal consta de varios tipos de habitaciones,ustedes tomaron una que era asi,pero si no les gustaba podrian haberlo dicho y se les hubiera cambiado a otra que si fuera de su agrado.Todo el tiempo en Hostal casa Fini nos preocupamos por su grata estancia y si nos sentimos incomosodos despues que se les pregunta como se sintieron y usteded nos dice que muy bien haga este tipo de comentarios.Saludos

The first night we were allocated in an awful and dirty room. the others two nights were better, but there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. My friend got her money stolen the third day.
I can't reccomend this place!

Es una pena que personas como ustedes presenten quejas,y nos culpen de la perdida de su dinero a nuestro hostal,cuando ni ustedes pudieron decir como habia sido,ni siquiera recordaban donde lo habian puesto o gastado,no obstante quisieron quedarse en nuestro hostal y no presentaron queja alguna,muy apesar de que se les pregunto como se habian sentido y ambas dijeron que bien,de igual manera,Hostal Casa Fini ya tiene años de experiencia y cuenta con muy buenas opiniones,Y NUNCA A NINGUN CLIENTE SE LES HA PERDIDO NADA,porque en nuestra prioridad esta la seguridad total del cliente y sus pertenencias.Saludos

Great location - very close to the city center-20min.by walk, 5 min. to Plaza de Revolucion :)
Very helpful people-expecially Claudia and her family, 200% hospitality, honesty, friendly atmosphere, they helped me with any issue I had and provided all information and support necessary for my stay in Havana.
I'm glad that I chose this Casa, I felt like being home :)

It wasn't place in Casa Fini so Claudia took us to Addis e Iralia. Casa was clean, very simple/modest, but hosts were so kind and helpful, that it was the best hosts in Cuba during our journey. Thank you!!!

It was the worst casa we stayed in Cuba. We Werke not located in casa fini but in a very small casa next door. We didn't feel comfortable, location is quite far away from old Havanna and our room smelled musty. Breakfast was also poor, as mentioned before by other guests.

Casa Fini is a quaint household managed by a mum and daughter, just a quick 20peso trip into the city centre by an old car hailed down on the street. There is no wifi, but there is very little in the entire city anyway and the meals, although are delicious, could be sourced cheaper elsewhere, (like the bakery next door or the fruit market around the corner) but the convenience and comfortableness of this place, you could almost justify it. Hot water and privacy :)
THanks for the stay, we would only recommend people invest in a map, and do some research. We were there 5days and feel that we could have done havana in 3 or 4 :) ps Claudia the dauber is excellent at English and is learning Italian and German and provided us ignorant Aussies with a huge list of things to do :) thanks!!

We had a very bad experience at this casa. Claudia, Fini's daughter, was constantly trying to get money out of us, doubling the price from one day to the next without warning and, then when I'd discussed a price with her and we'd agreed, getting money behind my back from my partner. The breakfast was also awful and I only got it because she knocked on my door on so many occasions asking whether I wanted it even though I had repeatedly said no that I thought it was the best option of stopping her. The food was inedible. I stayed at two other casas in Havana (and several others across Cuba) and this was the worst by a mile in terms of value for money and Claudia's incessant interruptions. You can stay in Old Havana for the same price with nicer people and better food, so being this far out in Vedado and dealing with the numerous breaking household objects, horrible food and ridiculous prices at Casa Fini is not something I would advise.

The place is not bad but not at walking distance of old havana. It is hard to find as there are no sign, even not the official one that use all official casa particular in Cuba. You can find easily better quality and price in old havana, the heart of the capital.

We did not like, that the onwer has charged us more than she should. We had to pay on the street right after we have exchanged money. We were taken by suprise that after we had calculated the money - we have paid 15 CUC more than we should.

Fini and her daughter Claudia are very responsible. Claudia's can speak fluent English and she gave us many useful tips in many ways. the room is small, but the ceiling is incredible high so you don't feel small, and it has a private bathroom which is very nice. It's not too far from old Habana, but you still need to take a taxi. you can take bus to Capitorial with very small money if you want, or just 10 cup for old Chevy taxi.

A great place to stay! Nice people who know the answer to all your Cuba questions. It's very hot to sleep there because there's only a fan but we knew that before we arrived so that was okay. A little far from the city center, but you can walk the distance in about 30 minutes. I would recommend Casa Fini anytime!
