An excellent hotel/Casa, the room and bathroom are a very good size and have so much character. The staff are so friendly our stay felt like home from home. The breakfasts are very good and excellent value. We enjoyed our stay so much with here and thank everyone at the Casa for a very pleasurable and memorable stay. Very highly recommend.

although a neat Casa not too far from the lively scene of Old Havana, we felt the place lacked personality as owners were not present. Staff were nice but no real conversation could be held as we don't speak any Spanish

All staffs are warmly welcomed and I had a very good time at this casa. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The casa stands on a convenient place with easy access to many famous tourists spots. A little noisy in the midnight is only one fault. (The casa faces the

heavy-traffic street.)

Casa Missiones is a beautiful building with 5 rooms, we had two, one with balcony and one interior. The downstairs is where a/the family lived and a part was very dusty / seemed under construction. The staff was super helpful and nice - stayed up late for our very delayed arrival - great breakfast (and disappointed when we decided to try breakfast outside the Casa;) the congierge helped us with a call to taxi and bike rental services. location is super by the Revolution Museum, tho can be very noisy (we were there with christmas and the parties were going strong). One room was in the interior which meant no balcony or windows to the outside. small courtyard. They could use some real pillows and did charge us $2 for a cup that we accidentally broke. Lots of potential! Hope downstairs will be developed as a restaurant/cafe.

Good location, spacious room, very pleasant architecture and location convenient at walking distance from Old Havana squares. But staff could be little more smily and rate is definitely too expensive during end of year period.

A very nice building and a good location. The staff is very kindly and tries always to give you assistance. The room is more beautiful than others casas, so the price is higher. The breakfast were very good (the juice of Papaye are a must). I think I will come to this casa again. The only point to check is about the noise. If the room is on the street you have a nice balcony and view but it's a little bit noisy. If you can accept street noises this a good option.

The staff were super helpful and the rooms modern and very clean.

The area was a little noisey due to the location but it was super easy to find out way around from where we were.

I would recommend this place to my friends!

Nice building and good location to Old Havana and Malecon but on a noisy street so expect noise if getting a room with a balcony that overlooks the street. The pricing is a bit tricky as well since they will not honor the single occupancy rate (double occupancy) even though single occupancy is quoted.

The staff is great and puts together a nice stay with an affordable breakfast and some simple services available however it would be helpful if the spoke better English to help first time travelers and considered a bit of variety to their breakfast menu as it becomes repetitive after a few days.

Overall - great venue. Thanks.

The location is ideal, right next to the revolution museum, the bed was of good quality and large (which is very rare). But, unfortunately we had the only room with no balcony and no window (#1 I think) and it is the same price as the others which isn't really fair according to my opinion. There was a hole up on one of wall therefore we had all the light and the noise from the entrance in our room. The breakfast was very good and the staff really nice. I would recommand this casa as it is well located and beautiful, but not this room.

The location is great. The room was very nice and the bathroom was brand new!

The breakfast was poor compared with all the other casas we have visited in Cuba.

Nice casa, nice and modern rooms, well located, only breakfast good quality, nice small restaurants in surrounding, quite noisy, like everything in LA Havana. Good choice for money

Rooms were ok, but rate was not as booked. Confirmation for a deluxe (70 €) and a superior room (51 €),but we had to take 2 rooms at a rate of 70 €.

All fine apart from the 'senior' lady of the cleaning/breakfast group who 'hassaled' for tips and additional payment at least three times during our 7 day stay and was a most unpleasant presence.

Centrally located classical casa. Very clean, nice bathroom. Interior and exterior beautiful in old-Havana style and renovated. Had to wait outside for >30minutes before owner came to welcome us. Breakfast is ok.

Great location, beautiful high-ceiling room, helpful host and delicious breakfast! We could not ask for more!! Easy access to pretty much everything, Malecón, Parque Central, Obispo...etc. We were able to overlook Museo de la Revolución from the balcony, which was quite nice. I'd recommend this casa to anyone.

It was a great stay. Super location, and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and was most reasonably priced. I would stay here again should I be so fortunate as to find myself in Havana.

The Casa is really nice and well furnished. You can see an design idea in the restoration, which must be concluded (upper floor is work in prolgress)- The staff: Jolanda is a realy lovely and competent person and the other girl really nice. Douglas is really kind and it's a pleasure to talk with him and knowing him. The location is near to the center, even if you have to walk a little bit for Habana Vieja and the reasaurants area. We had very good time in Casa Misiones.

For the Price you would expect clean towels everyday. The manager was lovely, however one of his staff banged on my door and demanded i pay now, i said i would later after i had been to the bank and she said no now. Then sent up some guy who demanded the same.

We really enjoyed our stay at this casa. It was within walking distance to all the main spots and very close to the revolution museum and malecon. The room was really beautiful, comfortable and clean. Being next to a busy road meant there was a fair amount of noise but this really didn't bother us. It had more of a hotel feel than a casa but again, this didn't bother us in the slightest. Overall a really great stay at Casa Misiones.

Clean and friendly place, location next to Museo de la Revolución. However, it is hard to sleep at night as in most places in Havanna due to excessive traffic all through the night (buses).

Lovely casa, very central and a gorgeous room. Worth noting that it is right on a main road with not very good sound insulation so the traffic may keep you up as it did for me

It's definitely rather a hotel than a casa particular. The staff doesn't know anything about the city and can't help at all.. Not even with a good restaurant. Douglas was the only one that could recommend us a bit. If you don't speak Spanish it might be a bit difficult to communicate with the staff. One of the three rooms doesn't have windows. However, the rooms are clean, spacious and nicely decorated.

Loved staying at Casa Misiones 51! It's a beautifully renovated facility and it's location is so convenient to everything you want to see or do in Old Havana. The staff are superb and go out of their way to accommodate your needs!

Your description of the property and in particular, it's amenities are very misleading and some of it is actually totally inaccurate. There is no 'living room', concierge, bike parking, DVD player or 'meeting facilities' There is no terrace but some rooms have a small balcony. ours had a view of a disused and abandoned block (not spectacular as your description) There is not plenty of space to gather, as you say and the small kitchen is for breakfast prep only and not encourages to be used by guests. It is not an entire house at all, but accommodation on one floor only. I would recommend changing this as it would appear that you may have 'cut and pasted' from other places ???

All was wonderful!!! I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

The only minor change would be to add a thicker mattress and small facecloths.

The location was great and the rooms are clean and nice. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the bathroom setup was a bit odd. Water, food and taxi booking was made available but at a premium which was disappointing as we had hoped for local knowledge to help in getting reasonable prices. Note this is not a true homestay it is run as a business therefore staff are friendly but there to do their job.

This was definitely closer to a hotel than a traditional Casa Particular. The location is steps away from many of the sites of Old Havana. The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were very modern. I would recommend this to anyone going to Havana and would go back myself if I even visit again.

Nice spacious room and big bathroom with new amenities. Good water pressure and nice shower. Good location - close to waterfront and the old town.

The man who checked me in spoke good English and was very nice. The women who run the casa were a little overbearing after a while, and don't speak English. I found them a bit much after a couple of days - felt like you were being bossed around.

The staff were friendly without being too overbearing. Wifi would have been great but we understand the situation in Cuba. Breakfast in house is defiantly the GO. Loved the ambiance, the coffee with the only issue being the traffic outside especially in the mornings. Great location, would go back there.

Casa Misiones was fabulous, the location in old Havana, across the road from the Revolution Museum and a 5 min walk to the Malecon. The host's very attentive, arranging airport pickup & drop off and great breakfast every morning for 5cuc and drinks available for a small price throughout the day & night. Although the host's spoke Spainish was reasonably easy to converse. The room's have recently been renovated and of an excellent, clean, modern standard with a beautiful traditional feel, with brick walls, tiles and balconies overlooking the revolution museum. Each room had AC, a shower and toilet. I had a amazing stay and time in Havana!
