Nilda and her amazing daughter are great hosts, I arrived at 1am but they made sure to have someone open the door for me, they also hosted my friend on a last minute. I met amazing people and had great time. Super grateful, I still have their havana map (forgot it). I hope they forgive me :).

both the hosts, Nilda and Denise, told me many lies and stilled a part of the payment. I'm sorry but Ii don't like lies. I'm not a stupid guy.
they didn't change the sheets. sheets and towels smell so much.

Nildas hostel was a good place to stay in Havana. While not as close to the city as we would have liked, it was still easy and inexpensive to get in and out. Nilda and Denisse were very sweet and helpful, thank you for allowing us to stay!

Absolutely loved our stay. Spent a whole month at this hostel and really cant find anything bad to say. Only thing which was a bit annoying was the lack of a kitchen. Denisse and Nilda were excellent hosts and I would definitely stay again!

Great cheap accomodation, Nilda and Denise are extremely helpful and great hosts. About a 30 minute walk into the centre of Havana, but a taxi ride gets you there in 5 minutes.

Nilda was really great. She took care of me the nights i hadn't checked in and asked a neighboor if she had room. Everybody at Nilda's was very friendly and kind.

The hostel dorm has 6 beds with 10 people at my stay. The guy work at there is just a f*cker, friendly but still a f*ucker, no professional manners at all.

The hostel is not located in the touristical area of Havana, but Nilda and espacially the very friendly and smart contact Lester can help you to get a more profound knowledge of this town.

Stayed there from the 16th of December 2014 till 22nd of Dec and also from first of Jan 2015 till 4th of Jan. Lester, the only guy you will meet of the hostel staff, picked me up right of the taxi I took from the airport. He introduced himself, showed the rooms and was a nice guide through my whole stay in Cuba! He recommended other hostels on my journey (took a car and drove to Santiago de Cuba and back to Habana), told me about places to go, mentioned some restaurants and helped with some gifts as well!
We went to several clubs and I won't forget my stay in habana!
The hostel itself is of course not a fancy hotel, but you'll meet lots of nice people around and its clean and quiet (if no one's snoring ;)).
For that kind of money? 5/5! 10/10!

Really loved my stay here. Is great value for money and is perfectly placed next to a Baseball Stadium. Old Havana is about a 30-40 minute walk away but that's not a problem because you get to walk through and experience a part of the real Havana and not just the tourist part. Very helpful guy who speaks English. Thanks Lester!

De los mejores hostales donde me he hospedado. Excelente ubicación, fuera del area de turismo. Solo tienes que decir que vas al estadio de baaseball. No te podes perder. Súper limpio en todo aspecto, es muy barato. Pero sobre todo el staff es lo que hace este Hostel lo mejor. Lester (Asere mi hermano) gracias, lester es el que te recibe y espera fuera del Hostel a la llegada. Se las sabe todas y te ayuda a ahorrar dinero. Fuimos a varadero con el. Señores este Hostel es. 100% de lo mejor.

We were a group of 5 and enjoyed our stay at Nilda's. She is friendly, the food is very good. You need to take a taxi to reach the city centre, otherwise it is a long walk. All in all recommendable.

Lo recomiendo totalmente! Nilda y su familia muy amables y cocina muy bien! Lester, un joven cubano de 20 anios,se ocupa de la llegada de los turistas y es un crack!! Muy simpatico y te ries con el!

This hostel is a one-bedroom apartment near the baseball stadium. You have to take a taxi to and from old Havana each day, so it adds about 4-6 CUC to the cost. I stayed here for 4 nights and had the whole place to myself so there wasn't much chance of meeting others.
The guy who looks after it is friendly and really helpful , but don't be surprised if he's waiting for you out front at night when you come home or to see him rock up unannounced in the morning. He's really helpful and will assist you with anything you need.

It's a nice low budget place to stay with a beautiful view to the city skyline.
The stuff is very polite and if you can speak spanish that would be perfect.
