Smart Camden hostel is conveniently located and the service is very good value for money.

very good hostel in the middle of Camden, good communication with all parts of the city, clean, basic but well kept

In this hostel, cleaning seems to be not necessary to the staff. But overall this hostel is pretty perfect for everyone who wants to discover London all day long and just needs a place to get a couple of hours of sleep...

As it's summer I couldn't find any other hostel. I found it very expensive, the most expensive I've stayed at, £15 for sharing 8 in tiny room. The staff was not nice at all.

the location is great. 15minutes bus ride takes you to Oxford Circus.

the room is not so clean and big, but enough to take a rest.

The hostel is really small, I was downstair and the room was so cold. The bathroom wasn't so cleaned, the room was good. The kitchen and the living room also weren't so cleaned, but in the complex was a quite place to stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Smart Camden Inn. Top position and the place was quite well clean. I'll surely come again.

This hostel is located in a perfect position, just 5 minutes by wolking from Camden Town station. The place it's really fine, hot water and nice colors, but tiny rooms!

The beds were comfortable are clean.

The only problems would be the showers and toilets, that aren't always clean and big enough.

The staff was nice and helpful.

Place is just couple of minutes from Camden market. I stayed for just one night...but enjoyed my stay. Staff is helpfull, breakfast is good cereal, toast,jam, coffee), underground is very near to the place. Every floor has bathroom and in the rooms there is a sink. Cheap accommodation, great location

i really loved my stay at the smart camden inn hostel, perfect room, perfect staff, perfect kitchen. All was perfect

The hostel is good about the position the unique bad thing I think is u dont have any furnature for put your staff and theres is a box security but it is in bad condition

The hostel was really small, in our room (a 4 bed's room) we had difficulties in mooving properly.

And most of all there was only one WC in our floor.

The rooms should have been cleaned every day, but our room wasn't cleaned for at least three days! The staff was nice, keep in mind that you will have to pay a 10£ deposit upon arrival and that the taxes are not included in the price! Showers were ok for the price, also the breakfast! All in all, I would recommend it!

We had a great stay at the Smart Camden Inn; friendly staff, clean rooms&bathrooms, awesome location and just a few minutes away from the underground station and the heart of Camden.

The next time I'll be in London, I'll be there again :)

Everything was excellent. I would go back again and I will recommed it to everybody.

It is on the northern part of the city, about a 65-minute walk from downtown/river. BUT, it is only a 20-minute from Kings Cross/St. Pancras Stations so perfect for getting to an early train without paying for an expensive taxi. Beware, transportation in London IS expensive (2 Pounds 1-way by bus; 4 Pounds 1-way by tube). About a 10-minute walk from the bus stop/Camden Station to the hostel. Bathrooms are old, floors are dirty. Showers cleaned daily. There are NO towels or dryers in the toilet rooms with the sinks; use toilet paper or air dry. Pillows old and dirty, but they give you pillowcases/linen, too. Pretty comfortable stay, one gets what one pays for. Breakfast provided (cereal, milk, toast, butter, jam). I stayed for 4 days and it was all I needed, besides all I wanted was a bed, shower, and b-fast.

Really nice Hostel close to Camden Markets, for the price the best you can get.

the rooms are good. the shower is good too. the breakfeast is not so good but they try to make the best they can, so I give a point for that. but in my opinion is to expensive for what it is... the staff is very helpful and the location is good too, but in the night, is a little bit dangerous. The only negative thing is the price due to the fact that the rooms are shared and we pay almost 20euros per night. Despite that is very good for 2 or 3 days.

problems with key card

clean but some problems: from one day on the pressure of the water in the shower became that low that the water only ran down the wall. we also had problems with the key cards which didn't work anymore after the roommates changed - we had to go to reception to refresh them a few times.

Clean and simple, don't expect much comfort, but it's great if you want a cheap place to stay for a couple of days.

Quite and average hostel. Only a few very small showers, but at least there was warm water. There was no room to dress/undress in the men's showers. The stairs, hallways and showers were cramped.

The breakfast simple but it was great that it was offered for free.

It's faraway from the city, bad staff, nothing interesting to do at the small hostel...

It's better pay a little more to stay in another one...

If you are more than 30 years old I don't recommend you this place because every nigth there are parties on the corridor and it is impossible to sleep.

It's near Camden shops, but it's horrible, dirty and disgusting.

from tube station to street: insufficient witten info = good, because it forces you to ask around (candem is great for that)

it is not fair that they have a female only shower room on one floor and a mixed shower room on the other

ugly hostel too small, only 1 bathroom for floor, and ina addition unisex, it seems a prison, the sinks are the ones you see in the prisons, is very dirty, and the area is really scary, and there are hotel in west acton cheaper than this hostel!

Hostel staff were very friendly even if their english wasn't perfect. Cleaness of the rooms was properly awful. Bathroom is a very small half broken one. TV room in the basement, not very comfy... Well, how to say it? You got for your money. It's bad but cheap or cheap but bad, as your understand it ;)

Real good for it's price.

They have really big problem with key cards - I had to go three floors to the reception five times a day because it didn´t work.

had a great stay , staff were freindly and helpful, only problem was the toilet on our floor blocking up and haveing to walk down a flight of steps to use the one on the floor below, overall it was a really good clean , freindly and enjoyable stay , will deffinatly use the smart camden inn hostle when i go back to london in the future.

The hostel is in a good place near to a tube station. However, other aspects are really bad. Showers and bathroom are not clean, very little rooms with no space to luggage and besides, we have to pay for most things that are free in similar hostels such as key lockers and consigns. All this should be improved.

its like a labirinth, too narrow and claustrophobic, i like that rooms actually have windows to open (unlike many hostels in UK) there should be nicer wardrobes for clothes, and please fix the showers so one can take the shower head in ones hand and adjust the warmth of water as well!!!
