Five elements hostel Frankfurt

Absolutely loved the stay here. The hostel is very clean and tidy. The services offered are wonderful and the staff are very helpful and suggested further things we could do. Enjoyed the atmosphere and enjoyed the stay.

I recommend!

It was a great time in Frankfurt and in five hostels particularly. Thw location is also great and is safe but I had doubts when going out late at night, because it's right in the red district. The staff were friendly and helpful. I also met nice people during a party (the parties are usual, organised by the hostel and are good, they offer free drinks if you drink alcohol)

There are many nationalities staying in the hostel, so it's also good international environment.

Great experience at this hostel. Staff is very friendly and the most important thing is, they can communicate in English.

Nice service, nice people, everything is clean. All you can eat breakfast(if you stay 3nights or longer even for free). Very nice lobby. 11/10 would come again!

Very good experience in 5 elements hostel. The hostel was clean, the location is extremely close to the main station of trains and this fact simplify your life when you has arrived. With my wife stayed at private room at the 7th floor and the room was big enough. The only detail was that the elevator's engine was close to our room and made some noise at night. But apart from that, everything was fine. We highly recommend it.

Everything was in a good state of maintanance! The Wifi was good, the breakfast was great, the common room was super comfortable and friendly. In the common room there is free tee and coffee all day long! (Which is really great in the winter time)

I'm definitely coming again!

(The only thing annoying was that sometimes the electronic key didn't work, but you just have to go to the 24h reception and they activate the key again. This happened to me two times in 4 days)

This hostel is located in Red Light District. Just a little bit uncomfortable to go around. No locker nor safe in the room. But, there's a big drawer for a latch.

I had a comfortable stay there before. Thank you guys.

Amazing hostel near the main station. The staff was very kind and the 24/7 reception hours made it extra convenient to check in and out.

I really liked the stay at the five elements hostel. stayed there only for one night but we were totally satisfied.

The location is strategic within the red light district. The staffs are very courteous and very friendly. Very clean...

It was a really nice place to stay, fun and very convenient even though the hostel is in centre of red distric. Very good hostel. I was initialy worried a bit about it's position in red distric but in fact it was very safe when I was there. I am an sigle female traveller and always went back to the hostel at mid night but nothing happened, but anyway you should still look around and avoid any trouble guys. That's all.

This was my first hostel stay, but I could not have more impressed. I have absolutely no criticisms, and will certainly return to the Five Elements at every opportunity. The guests were all great young people, except for my wife and I, 64 and 70, so if you are looking for a place designed for old people, this would not be the place for you. (be ready to sleep on a top bunk, and expect drinking and noise.) Thanks, Five Elements, for a great 2-day stay.

It was great staying here. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The set up was clean, well-run, and organized. The people staying there were friendly and from all around the world, although all the staff knew English, most also were/spoke German. They also had tons of activities to do and ways to socialize, plus WiFi. All around a good place to stay.

Easy to find, but I wasn't too fond of the location right in the middle of the red light district...nothing like that of Amsterdam. Strippers just standing on the street and crack heads hang out by the door. Aside from that it was great, although it took forever to get checked in and there was only one person in front of me. They wanted to know everything about where I had been etc. I would stay here again but check in was a pain.

Very safe hostel, with plenty of space. The only thing was the 4pm check-in. However they did let us kip on the sofa until we could check in.

What a great little hostel. Yes it's in the middle of the Red Light district, but it's really safe and is a great safe environment with amazingly helpful staff! I would highly recommend staying here!

German precision on an industrial scale, I guess. Couldn't get the wifi (802.11b/g) work, but others seemed to be surfing without problems. Perhaps it was just a settings issue. If you can't stomach a normal European red light district, it might be a bit too much for you, otherwise the location is perfect.

Very nice n helpful staff, nice atmosphere. We liked the big kitchen. Library, laptops n wifi r a great idea!

The only thing: we found the beds TOO soft. The location is very fine except the drog dealers in the street.

Complain: Istvan Pendl hevent got the membership's card yet.

I would stay here again and reccomend it to others. Best part was how clean and comfortable it was. That's hard to find in hostels. Breakfast was affordable and good.

I´ve booked and payed for a bed, but I did not stay because it was kind of too many in a litle room (6).

I don´t use to be that pikie, hahahahahaha, but... I was too tired and I leave after I´ve seen my bedroom. Next time I will book with you again just because the staff was so cool and friendly. Offcourse it will be in a private room just for me.

Best hostel I've ever been.

If the red light district (which is not dangerous, in my opinion) is not a problem for you, then don't think about it twice: head to "five element hostel" right now!

we stayed at the hostel when there were renovation works going on, so we had a free breakfast every day, and the breakfast was very, very good. Also, there were little touches such as candles and christmas cookies on the tables (we went there during christmas) which was lovely too. The rooms and showers were clean, but note that the shower cubicles are made of totally transparent glass so there is no privacy whatsoever. Also, the hostel is in the red light district but we encountered nothing worse than some catcalling. But overall it was a lovely stay, and we'd stay there again.
