Vesta Residence

Assessment is positive. Very good location - close to bus stops, train station and metro (line B), so its really good to people who want sightseeing. Staff is ok, but its hard to talk with them in english.The biggest drawback is noise outside the window. The hostel is located near to very busy street. If you open the window, you can not sleep. If you close the window is so stuffy, that you can not sleep. The only solution is: the ears stoppers.

It is really bad that this B&B claims to be B&B as there is not breakfast!!!

actually the name on the door is Bed end Breakfast!!! END?? I guess it is beacuse it is indeed the end of the breakfast!

the first night was TERRIBLE!!! they didnt give us a ventilator so we had to keep the window open...the noice was too much as there is a main road in the rooms side!!! we didnt sleep one second!

they also promised 4 beds and we got 2 normal beds and one double bed mmm...

not the same for sure!

ıt is awful!! dont go there.. it is written that there is internet but there isnt! it is far away from centre,rooms are dirty,bathroom is awful,personnels dont know english,they didint see our reservation from internet and they want more money from us..ı think everywhere is better that this 'residence'! we made a mistake.. dont do the same thing.

It was nice hostel.peoples are so nice. but I wish that toilet and bathroom is more than one.

The place is near the subway, but far from the main places, wich is great if you wanna have rest from the crown that lives in rome. the staff is always hidden, except for the cleaning lady. Nice bed. Traffic road outside, is near a highway.

The only good thing about the hotel is its location.

It was very confusing to find the hotel, the staff doesnt speak any other language but italian, getting a confirmation that we paid was a challenge and it was everything but clean. And for example, it wasnt possible to lock the shared bathroom.

The worst thing were parasites, probably bed-bugs. I got terribly bitten and I got rash all over my body.

The price was okey, but if you wanna keep your health, stay somewhere else. Next time I would rather stay under a bridge;-)

Po przyjeździe okazało się, że nie ma dla nas pokoju na 2 pierwsze noce mimo rezerwacji (kazano nam na 2 noce przenieść się do innego hotelu - Salus, gdzie nie było włączonego ogrzewania-byliśmy w listopadzie-ani ciepłej wody...),z kobietą, która nam otworzyła zerowy kontakt-mówiła tylko po włosku...nie odpowiedziano mi na maila przed moim przyjazdem, opis sposobu dojazdu, który dostałam na maila nie dotyczył wcale Vesty. W łazience nie ma jednych drzwi, więc po prysznicu potem płynie rzeka. Na koniec dorzucę jeszcze bardzo duże,ale przeraźliwie skrzypiące łóżko:)Pozytywy:cena, czysto, blisko do metra i stacji kolejowej, jeśli ktoś lubi to jest TV i to chyba tyle...

This place is disgusting! There is no breakfast and no internet connection, although according to description on the web side there should be. There is no common room. No kitchen. The owner is just rude. Hostel is located right beside very busy road and there is huge noise even in the night. Beds are uncomfortable - you can feel every spring. Moreover, you can't feel safe because every room have the same key! You can open any room with your key, you can even use the key from the toilet. So you have to take all you precious belongings with you when leaving the room. This place is the worst hostel I have ever been!

good as a cheap accomodation. you have to be on the specified time because staff is not allways around, so there would be no one to open up for you. bathrooms are not to clean.

Well-placed (walking distance from Colosseo), close to metro. Major stuff speaks Italian only (but friendly). Rooms are pretty nice and clean but facilities are not. No parking but still posiible to find a place nearby. Acceptable for its price.

We were there on July, so it was very hot, however Vesta Residence do not have air conditioners in their rooms- that was horrible. Staff- do not understand English at all, also she cancelled our reservation. Nevertheless, she carried us a better place for the same price, so we forgave her :)

It was a very terrible experience at the Vesta Residency. They promised us a 4 bedroom room with private WC. It didnt have a private bathroom and the only 'one' common bathroom was neither clean nor had proper door for the bathtub. And we had to wait in the queue to get in the bathroom.

In Rome where it was burning hot like a chimney they provided us a fan which wasn't even working properly.

To add to it I had mailed them 2 days before to change the time of check in. I mailed twice in english and once in Italian and got no response from them. I suggest you better remove this hostel from your list of hostels if you want to keep up the reputation and reliability of your website.

There is no internet connection.

NO BREAKFAST! "bed and breakfast without breakfast" thats what the lady told me at the first day.

It is near to the station/metro Tiburtina but it was very loud because of the street "nomentana". the windows are very old and therefore we couldn't sleep longer as 7/8 o'clock.

the bathroom was old (a bit broken down) but clean.

the staff was very unfriendly and they smoked (pot) in the corridor.

it was very cheap. for young peole its ok...

Good hostel for good price. Bathroom was not so clean, once we entered room it didn't look very nice, but it was clean and quite. I was satisfied.

it is cheap so you can not expect too much.The staff know only one word of english : "pay"

We have booked our room there, but when we arrived in the morning the girl told us that she had some "unexpected prenotations" and that we could not stay in the room we had booked. so she gave us the adress of one hotel in Rome and she told us that she had already called to make a prenotation for us. in the end we got a room there, but we had to go there, find it again.... and what the hell, if i book a room, i dont think it is normal to send me away!!!

To be honest, I expected something more. 1. No free breakfast, it cost 3 euro.

2. No Internet access.

3. Unfriendly staff speaking no foreign language.

Actually it is not a hostel, in the meaning I got used to, at all. The only advantage is the cleanness. I do not recommend it to you.

VESTA RESIDENCE is located quite close to the underground station Tiburtina, so at night you can get there quiete easily, although it isnn't easy to find it for the first time. The landlady can't speak english at all. Use you hands :D

The rooms are tidied every day, the water is cold sometimes but there isn't kitchen at all!

Overall we liked it for its price and for the fact tat it is easily reachable.

There was humidity in the room and the beds were terribly uncomfortable. There was no breakfast. I don't recommend for long stay.

there are only two apts with 3-4 rooms having only one toilet ,no breakfast posibility,poor conditionsaccording with the rates .The management is verry poor ,and the manager are intrested only to grabe money widowut doing noting to improuve the general conditions.It is the worst B&B OR Hostel

i'd sowit in holle europe.I am verry sorry that this kind of establishment stil exist in Europe

I wont suggest anybody to go there. Take an other hostel. The takeing care and the young thinking is what missing, among others. No breakfast...so on

We didn't like, the staff was quite unfriendly and no english speaking. We must changed the room and the bed was terrible.

The location was also not good because is next to a highway to noisy.

It was really bad when me and my friend stayed, i was suprised to find in the bed next to me, when i woke up.

It was on a motoway in a dirty block of flats, no sign to say vesta residence.....it must be illegal.

No one spoke a word of english, they never had any change for when we paid the bill.

serious bad instructions on how to get there, they sent us on a wild goose chase.

Is says bed and breakfast its not, we wanted a cuppa tea in the morning, but they told us we have to pay for the milk.

WE would rather eat broken glass then ever ever go back there!

It's located at the highway exit so it's really loud.The only upside of it's location is a proximity to the metro station Tiburtina. It was clean. During our stay due to some sort of malfunction there was na hot water. Nevertheless it was ok. We enjoyed our stay in Rome.

A very modern appartment. The lady didnt speek english at all apart from "cash".It's very far from the center, but there's a metro station 10 mins away. There is only one bathroom for all the rooms and the hot water didnt last long, but it was a nice place.

To much noise... no facilities... no one spoke English and they couldn't give any information!!!!

they can`t speak english,we had a mp3 stolen by the women who works there,the plug sockets were unsafe hanging off the walls.they move your stuff around without your permission.and the place smelt bad

The hotel is small and consists of several rooms for tourists, perfectly located - 2 minutes from metro.Our room was clean, the bathrooms were absolutely ok. The hostel costs its price, we couldn't find better ratio price/location. It's noisy at night as the windows look the road, but for a few nights it can be acceptable for those, who wants to see Rome and not to pay much for the hostel.

Everything was very, very good EXCEPT the bathroom floor near Room 1 has a permanent pool of water inside the door. It is a dip in the floor from the construction. It needs to be made right at very little cost. It is inconvenient and gives a bad impression of management. Very best wises, will visit again maybe next year.

The accomodation is good for the price. If you do not want to stay in the hostel 24 hour per day, it is worth it. Do not expect any luxury, this is good only for passing the night and having a shower. There is good connection with metro B and a bus from Piazza Venezia, which is quite important, in my opinion. There were lots of drunkards and homeless at Tiburtina station but I felt absolutely safe. There is no breakfast, maybe people who pay for the room with its loo it have. Sheets were clean. There is a small shop where you can buy food and drink nearby. I do not recommend to people who want more than sleeping there, having a shower, going on the loo.

this accomondation is pretty good if you don't have huge expectations

the bed was broken, the room was full of insects that bit, the air-conditioning didn't work, TV did not have a remote, the y gave 1 toilet paper roll for 3 persons for 3 days

The place is very noisy, the staff totally unkindly and very rude.Is a B&b but the breakfast is not included in the price. The position is good 'cause is close to the Uunderground tube station Tiburtina FS.The room was clean but the bathroom smells bad.

This place was terrible. It billed itself as a Bed and Breakfast, but upon checkout we were expected to pay extra for the breakfast. At any other B&B, breakfast would be included. Plus, the person we delt with (probably the daughter of the owner) didn't speak English or Italian. We found out she was Romanian. An overpriced room in a random apartment building. Couldn't communicate with the staff at all. Next time we'll find a place closer to the center of Rome.

Hostel is very close Metro (Line B) and some shops with foods. Located by noise street and it could be disturb visitors to rest. room was clear. Personel are good and friendly but don't speak english. Their don't accept creadit card to pay.

After arrive to the hotel our room were overbooked. Then we were staying in other private room. I dont recommend to book hotel Vesta Residence.

Very good - cheap, clean rooms, friendly staff, good position. Our renovated room - with bath and toilette was perfect, clean bathroom. Only negative thing was the noise from the street...

I do not recommend this hotel. The conditioned air was damaged, they did not change the towels and the zone is very ugly. It is very expensive for which it offers.

The rooms are big and spacious. When we were there the showerdrain was broken so after a shower the bathroom floor was totally wet. The position of the residence wasn't down town but the metro was nearby which was good. On the site they say that breakfast is included, this was not the case.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They gave away our room and made us stay in some dump hotel far away. They don't provide things they say they do: example, no phone, no luggage storage, no breakfast, no internet, and the lift was broken. Plus not all rooms were in the same location or with the same furniture. Finally, our shower didn't drain, window didn't open, no clean towels, and quoted the wrong price. Above all, the staff was unhelpful and very lazy. Everyone staying there had a similar expereince to ours. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Not all rooms didn't look like the ones on the pictures! Small rooms, broken Bed, very simple furnished.
