Description

Hostel is located in center of the beautiful and famous Soča Valley in the Western part of Slovenia, in a small town in the middle of nature, Kobarid.

Kobarid is situated at the foot of the mighty mountains Krn, Stol and Matajur and close to many mountains and hills that make the place an ideal starting point for hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists and families.

Through it runs the emerald river Soča, in addition to natural beauty offers many opportunities for water activities. Only 5 km from Kobarid from kobarid is the river Nadiža, which in the summer season is a great place foe swimming with multiple pools and hot clean water. Farmers milk is proceed into cheese and other dairy products, which are worth trying.

The place is also known for its rich cuisine. Many good restaurants and tourist farms offer true gourmet pleasures of authentic local food. Kobarid is a true avant-garde of Slovenian and global cuisine.

The Soča Valley is also known for its tomultous past, especially after the 1st and 2nd World War which the signs are still visible today in the mountains, hills and valleys. Under the expert guidance or yourself, you can see many open-air museums. Valuable finds are kept in the local museum.
