About us
Atherton Blue Gum B&B is a home-away-from home. Spacious, clean, rustic rooms makes it a great place to base yourself. Wake to a chorus of native bird life and enjoy a continental breakfast which is included in the tariff. Atherton Blue Gum is high on Hallorans Hill and looks down on the Atherton township, which is nestled in an emerald valley. The mist enshrouded mountains, with tropical sunlight glistening on their exposed peaks in the morning, is a delight to behold.

Services and activities
A sparkling pool & spa includes a poolside pergola with guest BBQ facilities. This will enable guests to cook and relax at poolside, having the advantages of boutique accommodation and local knowledge from your hosts. All rooms have a private ensuite, Digital TV and entrance, it is a very comfortable B&B - Atherton Blue Gum B&B is not a 'Retreat'.

Surroundings
The “Atherton Tablelands” or “Cairns Highlands”, situated close to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef, the Waterfalls and Crater Lake District is a wonderful place to spend some time in Far North Queensland.
Townships in the Tablelands region include: Atherton, Mareeba, Herberton, Millaa Millaa, Ravenshoe, Yungaburra and Malanda.
With an annual rainfall of around 1400mm, Atherton (The most central town), and its immediate district, are a lovely tropical green.
