Yoho International Youth Hostel

15 minutes walking distance to the old town square. The kitchen is very small, only a counter with two microwaves, no stove so can only cook some easy dishes. But they have a cafe providing breakfast and dinner. The communal area is very good because i do make some friends while sitting over there. There is a female staff who is very rude. I was thinking about something and thus didn't notice and use the emergency exit. I did realise after that and apologized to her. She doesn't really need to talk to me in such a rude way.

Yoho International was a great hostel with perfect location. We could cover all the main places on foot as they were closer to the hostel. The rooms were good and the breakfast was nice.

Great female showers (4 hairdryers), very good breakfast (affordable 3,50 euro) in a old fashion dining room and Christmas decorations all around. Not so comfortable common room, but I saw some people sleeping there for hours, so I guess it is manageable.

This is a very well-situated hostel which fulfills the basic requirements. I was not too impressed with the tiny-minded attitude of the staff, who tended to blame each other for any oversights and mistakes. The towel rental is unduly complicated.

Decent place in a decent part of town. It was run like a hotel so the rooms and bathroom were very clean.

Key card doors and lockers, wi-fi, bar, food, 5mins away from old town, easy to get to from station.

Nice place, friendly atmosphere. One of the best things is the free map giving you a couple of walking tour options - oh, beds very comfortable!

Location is good, but not easy to find at all! Directions are not clear the way they explain. Really nice and cheap breakfast!!! I din't like "mixed" restrooms.

Would definitely stay here again. One of the best hostels so far on our tour.

Really good location - its easy to walk to everything from Yo-ho.

Very clean and cheap

It would be good to have one or 2 more toilets on each floor, as there was always a queue outside the female toilet on the 3rd floor where we were staying. Otherwise, I was extremely impressed with Yoho.

we could walk from main train station but to downtown take bus is better because it quite far if you want to walk.The bus pass in front of the hostel,very comfortable. They are very clean. Breakfast and dinner is delicious but you have to pay 2-7 euro. I recommend you for this hostel.

My stay in yo-ho was great. It's not far from the center, the staff is kind and they are all great people. the place is clean, and the bar is the right choice to have a beer before going out or also to have complete dinner. if i will go back in salzburg one day, yo-ho will be my first choice.

We are a middle aged couple who spent a delightful weekend in Salzburg. The hostel was perfect, it was quiet, clean and had everything we needed within a nice walk from the city. The staff was pleasant, and we really didn't want for anything.

Exceptionally clean and a hostel with modern facilities located within a good area. Lively bar at night too and decent breakfast.

A good place, but sometime look like staff didn't like to help.

Great hostel, well renovated and clean, nice and close to the train station, well priced food. The staff were good too, except one who was very unfriendly (the others made up for her). Smoking in the bar and inside reception was the only downpoint. Would definately recommend this hostel.

i liked the YOHO hostel, it was a nice place with a fun atmosphere.

ok hostel. worst part was the fact that there was only one female toilet on our floor.

the room was clean, not so small. i like the atmosphere in there.

but breakfast was little bit expensive thinking about quality.

The bar in the hostel had great food, and lots of it for the price, but drinks were pricey, even during "happy hour." Internet access was expensive,too.

I thought YOHO was in a great location and was very convenient to walk to most places in the city. I also thought the opportunity to watch the Sound of Music everyday was a cite idea. I only wish you could check in before 11AM that was kind of a hassle for us.

This was a really great place, especially if you are with a group of firends. Very clean, safe and easy to get to the tourist attractions. Highly recommend!!

Clean and comfortable. Good lockers that lock for each guest in each room. Easy to get to from train station and to get to the old town.

there were some families with young children satying at the hostel, which i found strange. also, my friend and i got sworn at by a middle aged guest and told to 'get some f***ing sleep', despite the fact we were only passing his rom whispering on our way to bed.

breakfast was not included, and you had to pay if you wanted to eat at the hostel, which was a bit cheeky, especially since the scrambled aggs my friend and i had for breakfast made us both sick the following two days.
