Relation price and quality is ok. Our room (5th floor behind)has all they say, incl a window with view! One minor point: the pillows are awful tough, so take of make your own when you can't sleep on such! Breakfast is cheap,fine and enough (coffee, fresh bread etc). Private parking is very nearby and ok. Street of hostel itself however is not easy to find, narrow, one direction. So don't stop too long for checking in, parking police is watching you!

Everything was good, I am pleased, clean, heating was good, staff very good. I was in better place, but the price/value I think was very good.

Very nice value for money, the staff is so friendly and the rooms very clean. I can say that I felt at home in this place from the moment I arrived. Rooms are a bit small, but apart from that I love this place and I would definetely come back. Highly recommended.

I happily acknowledge the hospitality and support provided by the team of Sun Hotel,Brussels. Breakfast was upto the standard. I have very good impression about the hotel and the staffs. Well decorated bedroom, linen, clean bathroom and everything we expect as a tourist.... are the characteristics features of the hotel.
recommend to everybody visiting Brussels, Belgium.

The hostel is clean. Strategic location. Near bars/restaurants/shopping malls. Receptionist is very accommodating, yet i lost my towel inside the room. They cant locate it. The lift is too small and not convenient.

this hotel is very close to the metro station but you have to take two trains to get to the centre of the city. the staff is very polite and helpful, cleanliness is enough for the northern european standard.

It was decent but the location was a bit shady and the rooms were really poorly isolated so I could hear people having sex two floors up. Good for them but bad for sleep.

Hotel is situated near the city center. 15 min to reach the old town. For orientation - the street name is not written, on any wall. Constructional works in the same street, beginning early in the morning.(12 of August 2010)

Hotel fairly hard to find at first as the instructions only gave details of metro stop. However, hotel was very clean, had friendly, English speaking staff and was very close to the city centre. Room very small, but was as expected really for the price. Cheap breakfast good for value. Thin walls, so a bit noisy sometimes during the night/first thing in the morning. Overall good though.

On the 4 th of June I stayed in your hostel and I paid the amount with my credit card.But now I've checked my credit card details and I saw that you took the pre authorized money and the money which I paid by credit card in the hostel yesterday. So you took the money twice... Please solve this problem as soon as possible...

This rating is regarding Hotel De France, which Sun Hotel moved us to prior to our stay, but without any warning and due to construction work (which seems to be quite easy to plan). The hotel was without any personality. 100 euros went missing from our room.
The best part was the breakfast which was decent and a smiling woman who served it.
If you want cheap accommodation, go to a hostel.. as for Sun Hotel, I don't know. But I blame them, nonetheless.

Sun is a magnificent option in Brussels. Located 4 minutes walk to Porte de Namur Metro Station and about 10 to Grand Place it's easy to get everywhere. Only 4 Metro stations to Gare du Midi. Room was very clean. Perfect TV with channels in English. Breakfast really worth it for 5 Euros. I'd certainly stay there again.

Good location, hotel is nice and clean.. generally good staying, however we had some problem with our reservation on arrival. The staff claimed that the reservation doesnt exist and after 30 mins of arguing and waiting we finally got our room.

The Hotel was clean and the view from the window has beautiful, the staff was always nice and answered our questions. The location is also good because is near the center of the city. :) We even had TV in the room and the breakfast is good!

It was our second stay in the Sun Hotel. The hotel is cheap, near the city center but in a quite street, the rooms are clean and the stuff is always nice. Highly recommendable.

After my arrival, a hotel's employee just informed me that they didn't have any room for me (I was later then I had supposed to come), despite the fact I had booked it before. Theoretically if the guest won't show up, then Hotel has a right to charge the credit card.. So I still do not understand why my room has been given to the other person. I gave a bit bigger 'staff ratings' because a receptionist has found the other hotel for me!

Stuff was very kind in personal/e-mail conversations. Distance to metro is awesome if you consider there is only one station in quarter of Ixelles.
Room for two people was the smallest space we´ve ever seen, but it´s worth of the money.

Sun hotel is not as it seems. The rooms are poky and in the middle of serious rennovation the bathrooms smell, it's an extra 5 euros for breakfast. The hotel itself is located down a long alley which is a bit frightening at night and there are lots of people coming and going at all hours of the night. Overall an overpriced stay.

Good quality for a low price. The furniture of the rooms is nice, the service is ok and it´s well located (near Metro and shopping avenue, but it is still quite calm). The parking (6 Euros a day is securitized). The only bad thing: there was a kind of strange smell from the toilets and a chemical smell of the walls.

The Sun Hotel did provide a very quite night sleep. The bed was to large for the room, but it might not be a problem in other rooms. If going there again, I will go to the same hotel. Also the secure free parking adds to the value.
