Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

By airplane:

   The closest airports to Paraty are those of Rio de Janeiro, 256 kilometers

By car;

   Coming from Rio de Janeiro: access through Rio-Santos

   Coming from São Paulo: the best way is via Ayrton Senna-Carvalho Pinto (SP-070). In the clover of São José dos Campos, enter the Highway of the Tamoios (SP-099). At the end of this road, turn left and take Rio-Santos (SP-055, then BR-101).

   Coming from Cunha: The Paraty-Cunha road, 49km long, passes through the Bocaina National Park (9.4km). The park road has cobblestone paving, beautiful scenery and lookouts, avoid abusing speed. And keep an eye on timetables: Car traffic is allowed only until 6pm.

By bus:

   Coming from São Paulo, Reunidas Paulista
   Coming from Rio, Costa Verde
   Coming from Belo Horizonte, Useful

Circulating:

   Car traffic in the Historic Center is forbidden, so choose comfortable walking shoes on cobblestone streets. To visit the islands and beaches, take a boat trip.
