Casa Viva Paraty is housed in an 18th-century historical building 15 minutes walking to the historical city centre. It boasts a fantastic view of the nearby mountains and forest and is managed by local staff doing their best to help and assist all the guests.

Guests can opt for 1 4-bed female dorm with private bathroom; 1 5-bed mixed dorm ensuite; 1 6-bed mixed dorm and 4 double room ensuite. All rooms have fans and air conditioning. Linen is included in the rates for all rooms and towels only for the double ensuite.

Communal facilities consist of a spacious fully equipped guest kitchen next to the bar (open until Midnight), a swimming pool, parking space included in the rates. Breakfast is included in the rates and can be enjoyed in the garden beside the swimming pool.

Casa Viva Paraty is located only 15 minutes walking to Jabaquara Beach and Pontal Beach; it is also 10 minutes from the bus station.
