Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

From Natal Bus Station (85km South)

There are two different bus companies that come to Pipa. The Alternativo Minibus leaves you very close to Pipa Hostel and the Oceano Bus leaves you at the entrance of Pipa (about 10 minutes walk from Pipa Hostel). Besides taking the buses at Natal Bus Station you can also take them in front of Carrefour Natal, which is the easiest way if you are coming from Ponta Negra Beach. The buses will be at Carrefour Natal about 10 to 15 minutes after they leave Natal Bus Station. The bus ride from Natal to Pipa takes about 2 hours and it costs R$10.50.

• Alternativo Minibus: Take the minibus to Pipa, and ask to jump off at the fisrt stop after the Fisherman’s Square (Praça do Pescador), in front of the bakery “Casa de Farinha”. Walk on the small passage to the right, in the direction of “Pousada Cabo Verde”, turn left and follow the signs to Pipa Hostel.
Alternativo Minibus Schedule: Monday to Saturday: 5:50h; 9:45h (except Wednesday) ; 14:25h; 18:20h. Sundays: 7:45h; 13:30h; 17:50h.

• Oceano Bus: Take the Oceano bus to Pipa and jump off at Pipa Bus Station. Walk 500 meters to the Fisherman’s Square (Praça do Pescador) and go to the right street, close to the restaurant “Espaço Verde” following the signs to Pipa Hostel.
Oceano Bus Schedule: Monday to Saturday: 7:00h; 8:00h; 9:30h; 10:50h; 14:10h; 15:50h (Except on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday); 16:00h (Except on Monday, Friday and Saturday); 17:15h; 18:10h. Sundays: 8:00h; 16:00h.

From Natal Airport (Augusto Severo International Airport):

Option 1 – Take any bus or van to Parnamirim inside the airport and ask to jump off at the bus stop to Pipa, after crossing the BR 101. It’s a short ride that lasts about 5 minutes. At the bus stop, take the bus to Pipa and follow the directions above . The buses will be close to the airport about 20 minutes after leaving Natal Bus Station. It takes about 2 ½ hours to get to Pipa this way and costs about R$14.

Option 2 – Take any bus or van to Parnamirim inside the airport and ask to jump off at the bus stop to Pipa, after crossing the BR 101. It’s a short ride that lasts about 5 minutes. If you don’t want to wait for the bus to Pipa, take any bus that passes a city called Goianinha and ask to jump off close to the Church (Igreja Matriz de Goianinha). Walk 100 meters on the Church Street and take a van to Pipa. Ask to jump off at the fisrt stop after the Fisherman’s Square (Praça do Pescador), in front of the bakery “Casa de Farinha”. Walk on the small passage to the right, in the direction of “Pousada Cabo Verde”, turn left and follow the signs to Pipa Hostel. It takes about 2 ½ hours to get to Pipa this way and costs about R$14.

Option 3 – Take a taxi at the airport. The ride to Pipa takes about 1 ½ hours and costs about R$120, depending on the season and on the time you arrive.

Option 4 – We can arrange an airport pick up for you. It takes about 1 ½ hours and costs about R$110, depending on the season and on the time you arrive. The transfer has to be arranged in advance.

By Car

Drive South through the BR 101 highway, in the direction of João Pessoa and enter to the left when you are in Goianinha, following the signs to Pipa. In Pipa, drive on the main Street (Av. Baía dos Golfinhos) until the Fisherman’s Square (Praça do Pescador) and go to the right street, in front of “Espaço Verde” restaurant following the signs to Pipa Hostel.

From Salvador (1079 km), Aracaju (743 km), Maceió (527 km), Recife(242 km) and João Pessoa (140 km)

By Bus:

Take a bus to Natal and ask to jump off in Goianinha. Walk 100 meters on the Church Street and take a van to Pipa. Ask to jump off at the fisrt stop after the Fisherman’s Square (Praça do Pescador), in front of the bakery “Casa de Farinha”.
