How to get here:

By subway: leave Vila Madalena subway station through the exit “lado ímpar Rua Heitor Penteado/ Terminal de ônibus”. Keep straight until the end of the bus terminal and then turn right at Rua Marcio Falcão. Walk to Rua Paulistânia and turn right. Keep walking through Rua Paulistânia until Rua Harmonia. When arriving at Rua Harmonia you need to cross the street and you will see a sign with a flower and the number 1275, ring the bell!

Leaving Guarulhos airport:

The cheapest way: take the bus Aeroporto/Estação Metrô Tatuapé - terminal norte, route 257 (Airport/ Tatuapé subway station); heading to the metro station Tatuapé. Once there, take the metro to Vila Madalena station.
You will have to change trains at Sé station to the blue line (heading towards Jabaquara station). Change trains again at Paraiso station, now to the green line, heading to Vila Madalena.
On the bus, pay as you enter. Use the front door to get on and the rear door to get off the bus. The current bus fare is R$ 3,00 and the maximum change given is for a R$ 20,00 bill.
(Bus R$4,05 + Subway R$2,90 = total R$6,95)

At Guarulhos airport, take the “Airport Service” Transfer airport / Paulista avenue (heading Circuito dos Hotéis Paulista/Augusta - route 316): ask the driver to leave you near Consolação station; there, take the subway heading Vila Madalena or take a bus - route 701A-10 - heading to Vila Madalena subway station.

TAXI: São Paulo doesn’t have too many taxis. Take care when choosing this option: you can get stuck in one of the many traffic jams. There are taxi stands at the Guarulhos airport, with an average charge of R$ 100,00 to reach the hostel.

Portuguesa-Tietê bus station (also known as Tietê bus station):
Take the subway heading Jabaquara, switch trains at Paraiso station to the green line, heading to Vila Madalena station.

Barra funda bus station:Take the subway heading Corinthians-Itaquera, leaving at Sé station. Switch trains to blue line, heading Jabaquara station, then leave at Paraíso station. Change trains again to the green line, heading to Vila Madalena station.
