The two self contained apartments for rent are 10 kilometers from Veliko Tarnovo - the medieval capital of Bulgaria. The apartments are in a stone walled private complex with a 8.5 x 4.5 metre pool, in the rural village of Dragizhevo in central Bulgaria . Village life seems timeless where goats and pigs are a common sight - so are donkeys and carts tied up outside the local bars. The apartments are two minutes from the village centre with its shops, bars and regular bus service to three main towns, Lyaskovetz, Gorna and Veliko.

Veliko Tarnovo has many attractions - old and new, cobbled streets, terraced houses, Fortress ruins overlooking the River Yantra and many museums plus modern bars shops and restaurants.

Within 6 kilometers to 35 kilometers of the village there are historical sites, connected to independence from the Turks, craft villages, monasteries, old houses open to the public and nature reserves set in beautiful countryside.

We can provide English speaking cab drivers to Veliko Tarnovo for 4 euros (8 levs) and from and to the airport. We can also provide tour guides for other excursions.
