Getting To Banff, Alberta
Banff is located 128 kilometres west of Calgary, Alberta on the Trans Canada #1 highway. Before getting to the Banff town centre, you must pass through the park gates.
Getting to Banff Y Mountain Lodge
East Entrance (from Trans Canada Highway)
The East Entrance into Banff puts you onto Banff Avenue. Continue along Banff Avenue and cross the Bow River, staying in the left lane. Banff Y Mountain Lodge is immediately on your left. You can drop-off and pick-up in the driveway or park in the rear of the building.
West Entrance (from Trans Canada Highway)
The West Entrance into Banff leads you onto Lynx Street. Cross the railway tracks, the hospital is on your right. Continue along Lynx Street until you get to a T-intersection, with Central Park straight-ahead and the Banff Library on your right. Turn left onto Buffalo Street, and then right onto Banff Avenue. Cross the Bow River bridge and from the left lane, make a left turn. Banff Y Mountain Lodge is immediately on your left.
