Casa Verde offers a new concept of hostel in Pichilemu, a place for rest inspired on life quality, surf, nature, and earth protection.
Pichilemu is not only a surf town there is many more activites such as wine tours a short trip away this is an excellent option to be by the sea 1 minute and in the country the next. Wine is a big part of Chilean tradition and we offer tours to the best valley in the country. Horse riding in the hills and bushland around the hostel give you amazing views of Pichilemu and Punta de lobos. Cahuil is a town 5 mins south that offers fishing, kayaking and the locals who extract the salt from the river to make the freshest natural salt you will find . Transport is available to all locations .
As we are the first Eco-friendly hostel in Pichilemu you will experience simple practices that help us to live on balance with the environment such as reduce, recycle, re-use, cultivate etc.
Our common spaces will make you feel at home ! While you enjoy a cold beer at the lounge beside the new fireplace keeping you nice and warm inside when its cold outside . Fully equipped kitchen, dinning table, internet area and other places to relax with friends outside such as hammocks by day and the bbq area by night with music, fire and a mud oven for perfect pizza . If you are a surfer we have safe surfboard lock up as well as places to hang wetsuits and solar shower to get all the salt and sand off . surf trips are available too, transportation and lodging is included. free bicycles and the best sunset you will ever have with 'Los Morros' at the back .
When you arrive you feel at home straight away with the relaxed feel and open spaces allowing you to escape the city grind and enjoy the Casa Verde experience .
Here at Casa Verde we are trying to minimise our impact on the environment by recycling everything possible including food in way of compost which we use in our veggie garden . We also have a solar heated shower for a post surf wash off instead of gas . We harvest all rain water to be used for the veggie garden and other gardens .The hostel has been constructed using alot of recycled materials adding to our Green concept .
Every Wednesday & Saturday morning the market is open to buy fresh fruit and market stuff a great experience to get amongst the local people .
We also offer surf lessons with all the equipment included and boards and wetsuit for hire.

Accommodation Information The hostel offers 3 different types of accommodation double with private bathroom, double with shared bathroom and four dorms with 1 being a female room
Double Private queen size bed , private bathroom , balcony with garden views and lots of wardrobe space . This room is comfortable simple clean and private.
The Castle queen size lofted bed , 2 beanbags and a lounge chair and a balcony with ocean views . This room offers space to relax as well as enjoy the view of the ocean all in one .
Dorm Rooms king size single beds with 4 in each in a bunk style these beds have extra room above your head so you dont feel trapped in . Balcony with ocean views .
All rooms have lockers for your luggage and keys for all rooms .
Breakfast is included for all guests
The Quincho provides you with a space for bbq , fire and also has a traditional mud oven for wood fire pizzas . With power and light available this is the spot to party while not disturbing the other guests .
The Living Space an extremely relaxed atmosphere with many lounges, bean bags and a massive dining table to make this feel like a home away from home . With full view of the ocean perfect to watch the sun go down .
