Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

Rafael Cañas Street is located perpendicular to Providencia Avenue (one of the main and beautifull avenue in Santiago) between two Metro (subway station) 'Metro Salvador' and 'Metro Manuel Montt' so when you arrive at the airport it will be very easy, you only ask where is the desk of minibuses called Transfer or TransVip, approx. US$13 dollars per person or $6.000 chilean pesos, shared minibus, you pay there, show the address to the driver ... and they will bring you here, once here you ring only 'Piso 1'.(246 is the number of the building). BE CAREFULL there are people saying that they belong to TransVip but they don’t and finally they charge you more once you are here....so go to the Transfer desk......They also have private TAXI from the airport to here and it would be approx $17.000-20.000 chilean pesos IN TOTAL NOT MORE. Please do not trust anybody who offers to help you.... just go direct to the desk of the TransVip and you pay there cash or with credit card.

The directions of our address to the driver in Spanish is:
Calle Rafael Canas 246 Piso 1, entre calles Huelen e Infante, por Providencia pasado el Metro Salvador la siguiente despues de calle Infante viniendo desde el centro.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

At the moment, foreigners arriving to Chile at the airport, with passports from United States, Mexico, Canada and Australia have to pay a reciprocity tax.
Other May or may not have to pay: please ask in your country if you also have to pay here.

RECIPROCITY TAX PER PERSON in American Dollar:
UNITED STATES : US$ 140.-
MEXICO : US$ 23.-
CANADA : US$ 132.-
AUSTRALIA : US$ 61.-
ALBANIA : US$ 30.-

This tax can be paid by credit card or cash in US dollar. It is best to have the correct amount because they may not have change.
