Description

Qingheyue International Youth Hostel. My husband and I were born in the little village of Hongcun. Ever since we were children, we realized there were few places where people could rest before they move on to the Yellow Mountains or while they visit our little county. Therefore, we saved some money and here we are.
This village is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is also famous due to parts of Ang Lee's 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' movie being filmed here.

Services and activities
Our philosophy is 'do it by yourself'. For this reason, our customers can use all the amenities we have here 》 Kitchen, patio, lounge area, etc... Every night, we organise 'tea parties' in a little room in our patio.

Surroundings
Hongcun is located within the scenic area, but it has some little supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc...
There are signs all around the village indicating how to reach the main places to visit and of course, our inn.

Why should you stay with us
I think this village is extraordinarily beautiful and the UNESCO seems to be agree with us. It is a very good chance to see some buildings from past Chinese centuries and enjoy traditional Chinese food. We also have some non-traditional pet, a monkey. It is a little bit shy, but it is always full of energy.
