About us
Viewing valuable and innovative concepts from other hostels, inspire the idea to create a hostel different from the others. It differs in the sense that the guest feels at home, for which it is very important to the quality of facilities and service that provides hostel.

Accommodation
The rooms are basic, the mattresses and pillows are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The communal bathrooms are located alongside the main common area. Behind the saloon-style doors are three showers and three toilets, separated bathrooms for men and women. The bathrooms are adequately cleaned on a daily basis.


Services and activities
As you walk through the front doors, you are faced by a communal space featuring two hammocks and a couple of small seats. Further back is the kitchen area with a cooker and all utensils that you would need to rustle up something for yourself. The free breakfast that comprises of cereal, bread, and coffee is served here until 11 a.m. In front of the kitchen is a bar-style seating area with three tables and a number of stools. Surroundings
Located at the bottom of La Candelaria (old town) part of Bogotá, Hostel Bakano is perfectly located to explore the city. From here you are five minutes' walk to the closest TransMilenio (bus) stop (Las Aguas) and less than ten minutes' walk from all the museums and other major landmarks. The area is crammed with bars and restaurants. A taxi from the airport should take about twenty-five minutes.
