The Aragon Hotel is centrally located at Bogota’s historical and cultural center, in the old colonial downtown known as Candelaria District. This exceptional location allow the tourist to reach at walking distance the city's main museums and landmarks, such as Gold, Colonial Arts, Botero and Independence Museums; the Money House, Museum Church of Santa Clara, Luis Angel Arango Library, Cultural center Gabriel García Marquez, Candelaria Theater, the mountaintop of Monserrate Hills which offers the best panoramic view of Bogotá and the Quevedo's Square and House where Bogota was founded among others. Our hotel is very close as well to Universities such as Andes, Externado and many others. The hotel is in the C Zone, very well known for its restaurants, which offer local and international cuisine. There is also a variety of cultural events and activities available in the Candelaria area and its surrounding area.

Hotel Aragón walls have witnessed many distinguished guests such as Isabel Martínez de Perón (President of Argentina, 1974-76, third wife of Juan Domingo Perón). She lived in this hotel in the fifties, at that time she was a dancer. And Fidel Castro himself when he was 21 years old came to Bogotá in April 1948 to attend the Latin Americas Congress of youth, and happened to be here just during El Bogotazo, an uprising of people after Jorge Eliécer Gaitán (Presidential candidate was shot in the street). In those days the name of the hotel was 'Crillon'.

The hotel offers spacious guest rooms with single and double bedrooms, for one, two or three persons per room. Rooms are comfortable, well illuminated, decorated with classical furniture, and have a panoramic view of Monserrate and Guadalupe Hills.
