¿Getting to Salento?

It is possible to get to Pereira or Armenia by plane, and once there, to travel to Salento by private vehicle or bus. Below we provide you with a few facts to facilitate your travel experience.

From Pereira:

You can take a bus from the terminal; a bus leaves early in the morning at 6:00 am; then another at 1:30 pm and the last at 4:30 pm. This is during the week. On weekends and holidays there are buses more or less every hour during the entire day until 5:30 pm.

If you arrive at the Pereira airport, you can take a bus at the terminal and from there take another one to Salento or you can take a direct taxi which will take approximately one hour and cost COP $110,000 (Colombian pesos).

From Armenia:

You can take a bus at the transport terminal; these leave every 20 minutes from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm; the trip takes one hour, during which you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

If you arrive at the Armenia airport, you can take a bus at the terminal; there you will have to transfer and take the bus to Salento or you can take a direct taxi which will take 45 minutes and cost approximately $60,000 COP (pesos Colombianos).

We arrange your transportation from Salento to the Armenia and Pereira airports when you have a flight leaving very early in the morning; this way you can pass the evening in Salento relaxing completely and taking full advantage of the day.
