From the airport

In any motor vehicle the Blue Almond is about 5-10 minutes from the airport, we don't recommend walking as it would take too long. Here are a few options that you can take if you are planning on staying with us

-A taxi from the airport

These are the official airport taxis, they line up and have a turn. The cars look like anyother card in the island.
Price: $12.000 COP ($16.000 after 11.59 PM)
Time: 5-10 minutes

-A taxi outside the airport.
You don't have to talk outside the airport to take these cabs, they are usually located on the opposite of the official taxis and the only difference between them is the price.
Price: from $6.000 to $9.000 COP depending on your negotiating skills
Time: 5-10 minutes (plus negotiation time)

-A bus

To take the bus you will have to walk outside the airport towards the monument that looks like a penis. Once on the penis keep walking away from the airport towards a hardware store name 'Construmundo', right before Construmundo you'll see the bus stop. Ask the driver to stop at the In Fitness Gym in 'Los Almendros' and remind him a few times along the way.
After getting off at the gym, walk 2 blocks towards the convenience store 'Los Bucaros' and turn left until you see the house with a mast with a San Andres flag on the front yard.

Price: $1.700
Time: it might vary, but at least 45 minutes due to weird bus schedules.

-Moto Taxi

Mototaxi are generally safe, and a great and cheap way to get around, but nonetheless We don't recommend them.
If you decide to take them. Walk outside the airport and wait at the traffic light, within minutes you will notice motorcycles honking at you; just yell 'moto' and lift an arm. Tell the man you want to go to 'Barrio Los Almendros' and he will most likely take the 'Juan 23' and then the 20th of July avenues. Try to find the 'Los Bucaros' convenience store. Once there the the hostel is a block away, look for the house with the San Andres flag.
